Service was good, the place was clean, food was too sweet. If you're Thai like me and looking for authentic thai place to eat, this place is not for Thai people.

Crispy Ginger Chicken Lunch Special is so close to a similarly perfect and unique dish I enjoyed in Seattle. Such a great taste. I need to visit the HISD offices again soon and enjoy this great deal. Thanks for a great meal.

Great find I have been driving past here forever. I stopped in Saturday evening. I was surprised everything was good even the spring rolls were f spiced to be tasty and not boring. I had tofu cashew and pineapple,. Which was flavourful. My friend had pad Thai which she enjoyed. The service is fast and very friendly. It has a nice neighbourhood vibe, ample parking and a a good menu a first choice in the manner

Stopped here for lunch yesterday based off of a friend who lives in the neighborhood. Classic Thai food with decent flavor. They have a Thai spice (their term) that was a mash of fresh peppers. It was hot and tasty. Overall, it was average. I had a beef something....others had pad Thai and it was a little sweeter than normal. The dumplings were pretty good.

What a wonderful place to have in our neighborhood but they do close early at 8:30 Stop tonight got crispy cheese rolls, wonderfully season Thai dumplings I could've eaten a dozen, Crispy chicken ginger in a hint of a sweet sauce perfect, and finished off the meal with a sweet sticky rice with custard that was so perfectly done Great service very efficient actually was waiting on by the chef she is precious juggling a lot of jobs I have to keep this place going Absolutely spotless inside Beautifully decorated Will be back soon

A hole in the wall, very quiet next to a whataburger. First time here and it was really good! The server was so sweet. We got both the green curry and crispy ginger chicken. We preferred the curry. Crispy ginger was not my fav but it was definitely really good! Overall a place I will revisit

Best Thai in Houston. It's made to order, supports local business and the ginger tofu is divine.

The food was mediocre. Only the flat rice noodles in the dish were hot while the vegetables were not. The sauce was not to my liking.

I've only got to-go from here once, and from what I remember, the wait wasn't too bad. The parking is quite difficult since the lot is so small. To share, we got an order of crispy veggie spring rolls and a bowl of tom kha with chicken. Both always hit the spot. Some Thai spots make tom kha too salty but I think this one is seasoned well. We also ordered pad see ew and pad woon sen with tofu. So delicious! The portions are pretty generous, so we had a good amount to take home.

I ordered it with beef, and the beef was very tender and not dry at all. Furthermore, the overall dish has the wok hay flavor and was one of my favorite pad see ews I've ever had. Thai Iced Tea - it was your average thai iced tea where it wasn't mixed at first(which I think is a sign of authenticity!) and sweet at the perfect level with condensed milk. What makes this a four star was that the service was a little iffy in my opinion. Even though we were in a large group which makes it harder for waiters to order, the waiter stared at one of my friends and started mumbling despite him already ordering which made it pretty awkward.

When you come in, wait to be seated, order and pay at the table. 2. Price - approximately $15 a plate. 3. Ambiance - Classy restaurant. I love the white linen on the tables. Soft music, white and red walls with Thai decor. Natural lighting during the day with warm interior lighting. It appears that there has been a makeover to the restaurant. I like the new look more. It seems more upscale in appearance. Dress code here is business casual. 4. Food - I've had their YELLOW CURRY WITH CHICKEN AND WHITE RICE. Curry is a bit sweet to my liking, but overall, it was a good meal. Will have to try other dishes next time. Food presentation is nicely plated. Not messy or sloppy. 5. Cleanliness - dining area is clean. The waitstaff keeps this place in tip top shape. The only complaint I have, although not exactly about cleanliness, I would suggest that management take a look at the lock in the men's restroom. Although it was locked, someone was able to enter still. SUMMARY This is a petite Thai cafe. Everything about this place was enjoyable. I would definitely come back to try again and will highly recommend this place.

It's cute from the outside, and as soon as you walk in, you're warmly welcomed by both the waitress and waiter. Once seated, they were quick with drink orders and attentive throughout service was impeccable...For food, I ordered my go to Tom Kha Kai, along with the crab wontons from their happy hour menu. The Tom Kha had a lighter, more watery base than the rich coconut flavor I'm used to. I know this can vary by region, so it wasn't bad, just not my personal preference...The cream cheese crab wontons were decent and nicely presented. They also served a complimentary appetizer, which was a fun surprise, a taco shaped fried wonton wrapper filled with cabbage and their house dressing...Overall, if you're looking for a quick Thai bite with excellent service, this place works. I'm giving it 3.5 out of 5 not because it's bad, but because the flavors didn't quite match what I personally look for. For what it is, it's solid. -- Pilgrim Sojourner

For drinks, I got the Mekhong Mojito and it was sweet and refreshing! For appetizers, we got the crispy squid and the crispy wonton- crispy squid was good but if you had to choose between the two, get the crispy wonton! As for the entree, I ordered the Khao Soi with shrimp and my friend ordered the spicy red snapper. The curry broth with coconut milk was fragrant and with the toppings that came on the side (i.e. lime, onions/shallots, mustard greens, etc) enhanced the dish. The flat egg noodles were bouncy and the shrimp was solid. If you're stuck between choosing a curry dish and a noodle dish, get the best of both worlds and order the Khao Soi! As for my friend's spicy red snapper, I tried a bite and the spices/texture in the dish complimented the fish very well. For dessert, we ordered the classic Mango Sticky Rice! The mango was soft/sweet, the rice and sauce had that salty coconutty flavor. Aside from the delicious food, the interior is cozy and the waiters here were friendly and gave great advice on what to order. They have that street food vibe as a well representation of their name, Rim Tanon, which means roadside. With dedicated parking that fills up quick during peak times, it may be difficult to locate parking as it is shared with a few other restaurants and the spaces are quite tight. We tried their appetizers including Salmon Rolls (flavorfully packed with cream cheese, salmon, and spinach in a crispy shell and loving that actually spicy mayo on the side), Thai Style Jerky (deep fried and sun dried marinated pork and beef served with sticky rice rolls and side spicy tamarind sauce, a bit too dry/chewy), Fried Tofu (perfect little triangles, so good by itself or with the side sweet and sour sauce with crushed peanuts), Chive Pancake (deep fried and chive packed triangles with a slight chew to it, great by itself or with it's spicy soy sauce companion). As for the mains, the Spicy Seafood Fried Rice is a good value as it was loaded with all sort of fruits of the sea (shrimp, squid, and mussel), with prominent lemongrass and kaffir lime aroma, but a bit wet or moist for a fried rice dish, the Crabmeat Omelet is served with a nice portion of lump crabmeat where you can taste the flavor of the seafood and add sriracha to liking, and the Beef Pad See Ew is made appetizing with wok charred flat rice noodles along with a savory blend of soy sauce, Chinese broccoli and egg. The portion size is alright and filling for a moderately hungry individual, though it would've been even better a tad bigger for those coming in hangry. I'll be back for more when I'm craving some modern Thai food and especially want to try their curry dishes. Service was quick and efficient, attentive to refills on drinks and friendly!
