    Steak Fajitas flavorless and overcooked
    Kevin V.

As for decor and ambiance they play pretty heavy into the dia de los muertos which is cool looking. But I really don't care too much about how a restaurant looks as long as that food is the star. One thing I think of when it comes to Mexican food is flavor... and this food was quite lacking in that department. I had a steak fajita which usually has some tender flavorful steak on a sizzling platter with tender onions and peppers aka lot of Flavor but that was not the case here. The steak was tough and very overcooked and completely flavorless. As for the guacamole some of the best places I've been you can taste the freshness and quality in the ingredients and this tasted very premade way in advance/ and refrigerated. On top of all these negatives the start with service wasn't so hot. We got there the restaurants was completely empty they had been open for about 30 minutes at that point. We waited for a hostess to appear after the bartender just kept staring at us as if he wasn't an employee. Then the hostess finally came out and she seemed to not know where to seat us as if the house was packed so after 5 minutes of her figuring out which empty table we could actually sit at we sat down and the night continued to go down hill from there.

We were really disappointed with how this situation was handled. During our meal, we found a zip tie in the nachos, which is obviously unacceptable and concerning from a food safety standpoint. The server initially told us they would comp the bill because of the incident, and while they did remove the nachos and a pitcher of margaritas, they ultimately did not follow through on fully comping the meal as promised.

Make a reservation. Interior decorated really festive. Staff friendly. Food ok but margaritas were not good.

Can I just rave about the portions of this place for a minute?! I came in expecting a light bite so as always I split my meals with my bf. We got nachos and the birria burrito and had to take the birria burrito home. The nachos were filling just by themselves. The nachos were piled high with perfectly crisp tortilla chips, smothered in gooey, melty cheese, and topped with fresh pico de gallo, creamy guacamole, and a drizzle of crema (Mexican type of sour cream). Every bite was an explosion of flavor. It was a stacked nacho plate! They didn't hold back on portion size--I was impressed by the generous amount of tinga chicken layered on the nachos. The salsa with the chips at the beginning was seasoned perfectly though I wish it was chunkier. It was on the watery side when it came to the consistency. I wanted to get a jarritos or orange soda but their soda machine was down. If you're a fan of nachos, birria, or just amazing food in general, this is the spot for you. Service was quick and they were all so friendly . We came at a time where it was empty , granted it was day after Christmas. Even then for it being empty, their quality was top notch.

"Light jalapeño" I can handle jalapeño but I actually enjoy the flavor not gagging on the bitter seeds. thumbs down

Cantina seriously WTF? My last review was supposedly racist towards Latinos despite me marrying a hispanic woman, and procreating with her, and now, after countless attempts, out of a lack of options, I've tried to come back and love you but lord have mercy you just cannot get your sh*t together. At this point, honestly, I've spent thousands here because my family has no standards on "Mexican" so we've blown our money here but after tonight, I'm done and the innocent bystanders need to know! Last post was all about the jalapeno in my burrito which blatantly OD'd out of spite which is what instigated my first post of this place. Yes, it's a NY rando downtown spot with a cool bar, that's cool. If you want to drink here then it's cool. If you want REAL Mexican food go to Azteca in Florida or Zapatos in Chester for the real deal. I really do feel bad continuing to bash a spot but after so many attempt for some solid Mexican can you please get your sh*t together? I called and ordered extra beans, light rice, extra chicken, quac, pico, and sour cream on the inside. What did I get? Look at the photos. I was accused of being racist and cheap on my first review. Honestly, cool bar, ef everything else. If you want real Mexican, beyond the margarita selfie crowd, go to Azteca not too far away or Los Zapatos 3 in Chester for a good time.... the good good is in middletown if you're willing and don't want to go to NYC. NYC reigns but if you're desperate DO NOT GO TO BONE YARD CANTINA

Our last night on vacation and we had a nice date night out here. Food was delicious and I absolutely loved my mocktail, plus the glass it was in omg. Service was great and just what a cute place. I'd highly recommend if in the area.

We went to Maskers Orchard to pick some apples and stopped by Bone Yard Cantina for a bite to eat. As we're not from around this area, and are unfamiliar with good food places, we relied on Yelp to help us find a good spot. The neighborhood is quaint with other restaurants nearby. This place is a little easy to miss if you're not looking for it. We were seated right away on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty quiet in there when we arrived. Our server was really (I wish I got her name) and was friendly to my two young kids. We received complementary chips and dip. They were good and better than some at other places we've had. The kids ate chicken tacos and a chicken quesadilla. Both orders came with a side of fries. The kids seems to enjoy their meals. For the adults meals, we shared 2 items from the tapas menu. We ate the Carne Asada and the Camarones Al Ajillo. We also added a side of rice and beans each. The food was really good. The only issue I had was how liquidy the rice and beans were. It was like soup and very little beans. The kids drank apple juice and lemonade and for the adults we had prickly pear margaritas on the rocks (YUM!!). Overall, we had a great experience and would return if we visit Warwick again.

Came across this small, well decorated Mexican restaurant in Warwick, NY. It is located upstairs on the second floor of a storefront, in case you miss it. Our server was friendly and gave us food recommendations. While we didn't order any of the many tapas items on the menu, we did indulge in multiple rounds of their margaritas (with delicious complimentary chips and salsa). They have all flavors and even offer flights with smaller portions to try. I would absolutely recommend coming here for drinks and I can't wait to sample their food.

The food is still great. We had scallops, chorizo, brussels sprouts, and a flounder ceviche special. Everything was delicious. The ceviche in particular stood out -- fresh, well-portioned, and nicely "cooked" in lime juice. The sangria is still a highlight too. A big carafe, no ice watering it down, served with glasses full of fruit. The problem is the service. They had two servers and one bus person, and it showed. Everyone seemed to be scrambling, and it was hard to get a moment of attention to ask for anything or even be heard. Our food came out in pieces -- three items, then a long delay, then another. The last dish, calamari, never came. When I tried to tell the waiter we didn't want it anymore if it was forgotten, he didn't listen and insisted on bringing it anyway. We ended up waiting even longer, which just made the experience more frustrating. To top it off, they're now adding an operating/service fee (around 3-4%), which wasn't clearly communicated and just showed up on the bill. It's disappointing because the food is still very good, but the service issues -- and now the added fees -- are taking away from the experience. After this visit, we'll think twice before coming back.

Really glad we did. The area was busier and with more foot traffic than we expected, which actually made it fun for people watching. We sat outside and the vibe was just easy and welcoming. Not packed, but well attended. Service really made the night. Angel took great care of us and didn't just check in, he actually spent time with us, talked through things, and made the whole experience feel personal. The general manager (we believe his name was) Kevin came over as well and was just as engaged, calm, and genuinely open. Food-wise, the beef and chorizo meatballs were insane. Easily one of the best things we had all weekend. The steak skewers with mashed potatoes were also excellent. Great flavor, cooked right, and the presentation was really nice. We also tried the meat paella and it didn't hit the same. The meat was overcooked and the balance felt off. We shared that honestly, and both Angel and Kevin handled it incredibly well. No defensiveness at all. Kevin comped the dish right away and said he'd talk to the chef, which I respected. Drinks were fun and creative. We tried the coconut lavender and the Honeycrisp sangria. Both really unique, just a little sweet for my taste. Overall, this is a place that clearly cares about the experience. Great service, standout dishes, and they handle feedback the right way. I'd absolutely come back for those meatballs alon

Both hailing from Bogota, Colombia, the two partners own a number of restaurants both separately and together. With Tapas on Main, they brought authentic Spanish-inspired dishes to downtown Bethlehem. In February 2015, when the unit next door became available, the partners opened a French-style bistro dubbed Cachette Bistro + Creperie. With both eateries adjacent to each other, they can share the same kitchen and liquor license; it makes for easy management. Palomina serves as the executive chef for both establishments, while Luis Abundez serves as the chef de cuisine. My family and I visited Tapas on Main and Cachette Bistro + Creperie this past summer while we were visiting relatives in the area. We stopped by while exploring Main Street and it looked like a cool place to get brunch. Although we were all seated in Cachette's dining room, the staff said that we were allowed to order anything from either establishment's menu. For drinks, I ordered a "Limoncello Spritz" while my wife had a "French 75". For food, I had the "Smoked Salmon Benedict" (two poached eggs, smoked salmon, sautéed spinach, bacon crumbles and hollandaise over English muffins), my wife had the "Huevos Rancheros Crepe" (two fried eggs, chorizo, pico de Gallo, cilantro rice, black beans, jack cheese), and our sons shared the "French Toast" (fresh bananas & strawberries, maple syrup). We all really enjoyed our meal! Our extended family also enjoyed their dishes, which included the "Croque Madame" (gruyere, ham & egg sandwich, served w/ frisee & apple salad). Whether you fancy a culinary trip to Spain or France, you'll find plenty of delicious dishes at these two establishments!

We received an email, that they would be doing a soft opening November 1st. We were really looking forward to a Spanish meal! When we arrived, the place was packed! Usually, a positive sign. Apparently, we weren't the only ones, that received the E-mail. We let the bartender know that we had a reservation, the answer was pretty much; see if you can find a seat. First off - they should change the name from Flores Tapas to Flores - burger and taco shack. Based on the "new" menu. It's very sad - because it's neither "fish nor fowl". Is it Mexican street food or a burger joint? It takes forever for the food to come out of a totally confused kitchen and even though there are numbers on the table, they don't know where to bring it. It's the fault of the "21st century"ordering system they are employing. IT is totally "Fakakta"!! Theoretically, the order goes from your phone to the kitchen, where they process it and prepare your food, then the runner brings it to your table. The reality is disappointingly different. You're better off, sitting at the bar; getting blitzed and watching TV. The fast food gets there sooner! You can do that at home and not have to worry about driving home drunk. Sadly, they spent a small fortune on theme glasses, seat back covers that look like Santa's hat, and specialty merchandise. See photos. I have a feeling, that a lot of the people that were there tonight. Sitting around at the tables, waiting for their food, that took over an hour to arrive won't be back! Especially a lot of the senior citizens or anyone over 30 years old that wondered what was going on? It was suggested; that as a Tapas restaurant they couldn't survive. Wappingers isn't ready for them. However, there are dozens of Mexican taco places within a few miles and burger joints to choose from. Let's hope they fair well.
