We had a lovely dinner here last night. It was our first time stopping in, and we were with our toddler so we asked to sit outside on their beautiful wine barrel table tops. We were told that we are the very first ones ever to request to sit outside. It was a small little intimate space and we were surprised to be the first ones to request it. I did peek inside and the interior looked very welcoming and cozy, nice place for a date. From where we were sitting, we were able to see a neat looking vintage slicer that they used to slice their prosciutto in paper thin slices. We ordered the salmon pistachio and the bone-in pork chop alla Milanese. The pork chop was excellent- thinly pounded and breaded, topped with an arugula salad, cherry tomatoes, shaved Parmesan and a slice of lemon. The Alaskan organic wild salmon was pan seared and prepared medium, served with sautéed spinach and rainbow potatoes, which included some delicious purple sweet potatoes, and was served with a tartar sauce. Both dishes were beautifully presented and deliciously prepared. Our service was nicely paced and friendly. 3 of their staff members came by to check on us during our meal. We learned that our server had just come from Milan 3 months ago. The host (maybe also the owner/manager?) was nice enough to stop by at one point to chat with us and let us know that Wednesdays are their pizza nights and every pizza comes with a glass of wine on the house. We were short on time so we didn't get to try their wine, pizza or desserts, but will be back to give it all a try. FYI- They have their own parking lot. read more

I was a huge fan of Chef Stefano, Unfortunately they dropped the ball tonight for my Birthday Dinner plans. No complaints about the appetizers, prosciutto, burrata, foccacia bread,etc... This time it was the entrees that lacked flavor and my Pork Chop Milanese was dry like sand. The Margherita pizza also lacked sauce, and the only flavor was basil and charcoal. I discreetly discussed it with our waitress, she offered to take it off the bill ($46) , just a sorry about the pizza, and explained to us that the head chef/ owner was not the one who prepared our meals this evening. He was out Chef Stefano did eventually arrive table side. I like him, consider him a paison from Italy. He apologized and offered us deserts on the house. After dinner with my family, we left unsatisfied and hungry. When I got the bill, yes the 3 appetizers totaled $38 were no charge,but the pork chop was still on the bill. When, I sent it back to the kitchen with two bites out and inedible. We still spent over $300.00 for our dinner plus tips. Ehh, I know that us Italian's can be cheap at times (Chef Stefano) but I can be too. Very excited to come up to Warwick for the weekend and find a new restaurant in town. I loved the ambiance of 100 Main. Romantic and cozy, with a touch of modern elegance that is still accessible. Definitely a completely different place then the Italian spot before. We weren't starving so we went with two appetizers, I got the Burrata and my mom got the clams. Small plates are meant to be more like tapas then appetizers, I see other people complaining about the portions but these are tapas portions. Usually when you get plates like this it's 1.5 plates per person so for a table of two, three plates would be filling. I really enjoyed the burrata, and my mom devoured her clams. The white wine sauce was amazing, we soaked the left over focaccia in it. Service was a bit slow but they were definitely understaffed and we weren't in any rush so we didn't mind sitting around with a glass of wine catching up. Ordered takeout. The yellow, wilted lettuce was soggy and marinated in tons of dressing. Soggy cold disgusting potatoes. Steak was actually putrid. Smelled and tasted like expired meat. The food in this restaurant is AMAZING! we went there tonight and we had a wonderful meal. HAND sliced prosciutto and stracciatella with freshly backed focaccia bread! If you never had hand sliced, you are missing something so special. Not stringy, melts in your mouth delicious. The main menu food was so tasty and fresh. Branzino cooked to perfection over spinach with browned potato frites. Broccoli rabe and sausage lasagna was mouth watering good. So flavorful! We've been looking forward to trying 100 Main for a long time and finally went tonight. I'd heard mixed reviews about it but holy crap. My wife and I both walked out of there in agreement that it was one of the best meals we have had in a long time. Service was fantastic, the wait staff was so friendly, the owner checked on us twice and was so personable. They don't rush you either which was refreshing. We spent our Friday date night at 100 Main, yesterday, and were thrilled with everything we ordered! The Focaccia/Burrata appetizer, Stuffed Cannelloni with bechamel and red sauce, and Bucatini Pomodoro were delicious. My husband had Italian Ricotta Cheesecake with crushed pistachios and candied fruit - outstanding. The service was friendly and prompt. I'm new to the area and we saw the sign for this restaurant while we were driving. We couldn't find much info about it online but we decided to go. This was a very authentic Italian restaurant. Everything was amazing!! I highly recommend the mussels for starters and the squid ink seafood pasta for main dish( I can't remember the exact name of it) and to end the night we had amaretto tiramisu and it was delicious! I am finally posting this review as respect and service outside of food quality is important! I took my lovely girlfriend to this restaurant for dinner for NY EVE 2023! Outside of ambience the management was disrespectful, rude, unprofessional and unwelcoming. As we arrived, they seemed very confused about our reservation ( which was made weeks before in advance- I even called days before to confirm) and scrambled as we waited for a table! The "owner" blatantly ignored us our whole stay. Stopped by every guest but us. We were dressed up for a lovely evening! We didn't drink that evening and the waitress said, oh we can only offer high quality Maraschino Cherries in "alcohol-mixed drinks" not "Shirley Temples". Rude! We felt unwelcome the whole evening. I guess the establishment is only for weekly repeat and local rich folks. We won't be returning! Food was good but service n respect goes says a lot too. I was very concerned when I heard one of my favorite restaurants was changing ownership. I just finished my first dinner at 100 Main with my wife and two of our children. Just an amazing dining experience. I arrived before everyone else in my party so I sat at the bar for an aperitivo. Dulce, the bartender, made a house special 100 Negroni- using prosecco instead of gin. Great drink an Dulce says she will be working on more specials. Once the rest of my party arrived, we were seated by Stefano. He explained the different ways to enjoy the menu. We decided on a pizza and a bunch of small plates. My kids chose the spicy hot Calabrian sausage pie, the crust was perfect and the toppings were just delicious. This is an excellent choice if you like spicy sausage. We definitely want to return to try the other pies, including the standard margherita. We ordered our dishes in two flights. We had the burrata, baked oysters, parmigiana (egglplant), black pasta zuppa di pesce, mozzarella, mussels, and tagliatta (filet mignon). Probably too much food for the four of us, but it tasted great and we devoured it . The burrata was light , oysters tasty, eggplant was my favorite, black pasta was my son's favorite, mozzarella and speck was delicious, mussels were great and served with a "cap" of bread over the terracotta bowl, steak was terrific. We had to try the desserts, and glad we did. The tiramisu was extraordinary, very light and creamy. Delicious. The zeppole were unique, light with a luxard cherry. We also had the panetone, a great big slice. There are many ways to approach this menu. If it were just my wife and I, we would get a pizza and two or three small dishes. With the pricing, that would be about $30 each and we would be stuffed. The way we chose to eat tonight left us over-stuffed, but too many dishes looked great and we wanted to taste them all. Even with the pizza, 7 small dishes, 3 desserts and 3 glasses of wine, the meal was under $50 per person. We will definitely not order this many dishes in the future, just too much food. The dishes are small, we cut each into 4 portions so we could all taste each dish. It didn't seem like this would be enough, but we were stuffed. I recommend you figure out your "angle of attack" and try the pizza and some great Italian food. Of course the restaurant is beautiful and the bar is great. I was very happy to see that the service was very fast and very attentive. We are looking forward to returning. read more

Very disappointed, the muscles were good, but they were in a liquid that tasted like water and a squeezed lemon, unflavored. And the very very hard pasta could fit in the palm of my hand for $30, aldente x100, the food was not at all great, when we mentioned it to one of the employees, they stated that the cook was new and being trained in the kitchen, but when we pointed it out to the owner, he blamed it on lemon zest on the food. It's a shame because it's a really beautiful restaurant. We were presented with a check right away and no one said a good night or even apologized to us. They made it seem as if we were criticizing purposely. It was empty and only three tables were occupied on a Friday night and now I know why. The service was not good, the server forgot my salad and only brought 1 salad to the table. She never checked back at the table until it was time for us to leave. Was ready to really like this place, but it was disappointing, and at times downright aggravating. We were sat at a table with a bench seat, which would have been fine but there was no back to the bench and a chair rail running along the wall that dug into my back if I tried to sit back. My friend had the same thing only it was a medal handrail behind her that was used by everyone coming in and out of the dining room. So we couldn't sit comfortably to begin with. Cocktails were okay, but nothing exciting. Ordered appetizers that were also okay, but nothing amazing. Then ordered pasta for our meals and received TINY portions that definitely don't warrant the $18-$26 price tag. My clam pasta was so salty I actually had to send it back because it was downright inedible. My friend's dish was also salty, but she suffered through it. When returning the dish, the manager came over making excuses. First he claimed they never use salt in their cooking, which is just a flat out lie. Then he blamed the clams, claiming that they "never know what will happen when they open". Then he tried to offer me the specials, which I said we'd never even been told about. Got a lamb Ragusa instead, which was again ok, but nothing special. Ended up paying $130 for a mediocre dinner and drinks for 2, only to go home and order takeout because we were still hungry. Won't return and do not recommend. There are many other nice restaurants in the area where I can get better food in proper portion sizes for the same price. read more

We ate here a few nights ago. The seating itself seems to have been constructed without the use of a designer. The bench seating was extremely uncomfortable. There was either a chair rail or pointy molding in my back at all times. Every table in the section we were sat had this type of horrible bench seating. So be aware, you may be hunched forward your entire meal. Despite being almost empty, the music level was extremely high. I could see this was being achieved by a Bluetooth speaker placed underneath a bench on the other side. When another party was sat there, they complained because it was so incredibly loud. The food was OK, but the portion were extremely tiny. The bread came cold and chewy. There was no crispness to the bread whatsoever. We tried the clams (not enough broth), chicken Milanese (overly greasy and it was one pounded thigh for $20!), fettuccine bolognese (nothing spectacular except it was a little more then a single pasta twirl for $20)), and the burrata salad (really under seasoned). Another person with us had the pizza, once again, nothing spectacular. We had the zeppoles (over fried) and crème brûlée (was NOT set, it had been hastily sent out from the kitchen and was still warm)The most shocking thing about the food was the price. The "small plates" are priced almost more then a full sized meal at other restaurants. Our bill (we only had 1 alcoholic drink) came to almost $200 and were still hungry and underwhelmed. When we were leaving, 2 staff members were smoking right outside the front door. I haven't left a restaurant where I just spent several hundred dollars at to smokers in almost 20 years. I really hope the owners take my review to heart, as I like to see local businesses thrive. I just can't see this place making it with how they are now. read more
