Foods pretty good most of the time. Tonight one of our meals was awful. We very politely asked if we could have something to replace, a comp for the meal, or even a partial comp. The owner said absolutely not. If you're not happy with your meal you're paying full price period. No substitutions , no partial meal price , nothing. Customer satisfaction is not on their menu. If your food is bad , tough shiit. They will charge you full price and not help in any way. The owner is nasty. I got in an argument with him in front of a full restaurant. You treat me like craap I will happily treat you back the same way. I will not be back. We've eaten here probably a minimum of 50 times over the last 2 years...never a complaint. I would avoid this restaurant on any holiday because they do not know how to handle a large crowd. When we arrived as a party of 4 there were a lot of people waiting to be seated , I went to the front to leave my name and was told just to wait at the back of the line. Everyone before me was seated as they should have been and then we were told they were prepping a table for us. A couple walks in and asked if we put our names on a waitlist, I just told them there was no wait list just a line. Couple went to the front and was seated right away at a table for 4. Another group of 3 girls came in and thankfully they told the host that we were waiting before them. I went up and told her, that couple was seated before us, maybe you should come up with a better system like taking down names, she snapped "I AM SEATING, CLEANING TABLES... I DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH MENUS FIR YOUR PARTY, FOLLOW ME!" So I thought maybe I was wrong in my approach but then that couple who were now a party of 4 and a table seated after us also a party of 4 were served their food and finished before we were even served. We waited over an hour for eggs and pancakes- simple breakfast. Food was cold like it had been sitting there. My daughter had to get to work by 11 (we got there at 9:15 am) so I asked one of the girls cleaning a table if we could get the check, she said she would tell our waitress... another 10 min wait. read more

This place is literally around the corner from Masker orchards. If you are looking for a bite before going apple picking, this is the place to be. It has parking and you can sit outside or inside. Outside has a few tables. I know it's called a grill but it's close enough to be called a diner. They have a lot of options for lunch and breakfast. Typical diner type food. I had something called the Blend, it was some kind of burrito with sausage, egg, onions, peppers along with home fries. The burrito was average, not overly large in size. The home fries were a hit for me, enough spice and cooked right. Prices are standard. I wouldn't come here hangry. If you do sit outside, it's a nice outdoor view while you wait for your food. Galloway is our go to spot for lunch or when we don't feel like cooking dinner. The menu is similar to that of a diner, and the food is consistently good. The prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere is comfortable. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice. You also won't find a friendlier staff! They are all so nice and they provide amazing service. Whenever I order takeout, they always ask how my baby is when I pick up my order. This review is long overdue! We eat in or take out from Galloway at least 4 times a month. The staff are always so pleasant and attentive! We have some favorites - potato skin omelette, Galloway chopped salad, Roast Beef Reuben and Vegetarian Melt. Tonight I had the special Bourbon Glazed Scallops with butternut squash and spinach risotto. I was hopeful that it would be good but it was more than good... was amazing! So delicious!! My husband treated me out and I really enjoyed this restaurant alot. Everything was homemade, the soup was delicious I had the sausage gumbo and I'm not sure what I has as a entree but it was delicious. Delicious, affordable, and simple. We've been twice after Apple picking at a nearby orchard two years in a row and loved it both times. We just had the most horrible experience there. We came in with my service dog & felt "bad vibes" (so to speak ... my friends felt it too) but still waited to be seated. Was asked about the dog, I confirmed that he was a service dog. Then the hostess approached, I showed his credentials & she told a story about another service dog biting someone. We ordered then the owner, a very gruff man, came over to complain about the dog & tried saying he wasn't a service dog. I asked what he wanted from us... did he want us to sit outside? OK Illegal to refuse us but ok. We move outside where there is no one else sitting. Being upset, I lit a cigarette. Then this same horrible man came out screaming at me for smoking even though we are outside & there is no visible sign not to smoke. He then told us to leave! He was hideous. But since things tend to work out for the better, we found a FABULOUS restaurant ...OPA! Greek Grill. Everyone was so nice, welcoming to my service dog...and the food !!!!! SOOooooo good! I HIGHLY recommend OPA! & suggest avoiding this most inhospitable Galloway Grill. Side note: when walking up to Galloway Grill, 2 people were leaving & I said, I hear the food is good here, to which they replied ,"not so good". Went for lunch with two others. Place was not crowded. Our server was slow and inattentive. She seemed annoyed with us, rushing our order and then 10 minutes after we all ordered told us one of the orders wasn't available. Food was ok but has definitely gone downhill since place opened. I've been going to Galloway Grill about once a week for breakfast and I love the place. The food is always fresh and very tasty. Breakfast ranges from the classics you expect to some creative proprietary dish they've come up with. The dining room and bathrooms are always spotless too. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the service is on point. Easily the best breakfast spot I've come across in the Warwick / Vernon area. One of these days I'll try their lunch too. Finally checked this place out and it was great! Wide menu variety and really great prices. For lunch nothing was over $10. I got the southwest chicken wrap and it was great! My parents had the burgers and wow they were really good. There was all different kinds to choose from. It's tough to find a place that serves a good burger but this place sure did!
