First time coming here after reading reviews. Not disappointed. Everything taste so good and service is excellent. The platter was good value for the money, for $50 we can feed 4 people or more. Will definitely come back.

I was just visiting this area and the hotel recommended this place and it is an amazing restaurant! The salad had just the right amount of dressing and I added the grape leaves as an appetizer which tasted fantastic. The lamb shank was so tender and it literally fell off the bone! If you either live in this area or just visiting, I highly recommend this place. The service was fast and the staff are very nice and friendly!!

This place was amazing, from service to their delicious menu. Very family oriented & tradition. Excellent restaurant for my 1st time here. Thumbs up...

5 All day everyday. Servers are friendly and fast. There are so many options for both meat eaters and vegetarians. The chefs are grill masters. You can have a dining extravaganza with their tasting platters or order several small plates to enjoy a sample of their regional picks.

What an amazing Greek restaurant in the area. Took my mom and the kids for my sister's birthday. Food was amazing, service was acceptable given the busy conditions for that evening. We started with 3 appetizers- calamari was crispy and tender, zucchini and the tzatziki was good, even the kids liked it. The gyro was moist and tender and of course tasty! We had a lot of food on the table for the 5 of us and still ordered 4 food items to go with the left overs. Can't wait to come back to taste the other dishes. You know the place is good when you see take orders are non stop!!! Efcharisto!

My family and I decided to come here to have a Sunday night dinner . Wow, we were shocked in how packed it was here when we arrived. We started out having some appetizers, and then we all ordered our entress. I decided to get the red snapper fillet. Wow, it was very delicious. The meals are all very big portions. The prices are amazing. The owner and everyone there is amazing too. Definitely stop here. You don't want to miss out on stopping here. I highly recommend it.

Excellent food. The grilled bronzino and octopus were excellent! Close to Woodbury Commons. Went thereafter a day of shopping.

Disappointed. This is a falafel gyro platter. Missing most of the ingredients. Called the store to request the rest of the items. Disappointed disappointment, disappointed customer

This food never fails to amaze.... On Wednesday we had the most delicious branzino and baked half chicken, then we placed a catering order for a party on Friday night. All my guest raved about the food - - from the salad, to the lamb and chicken on a stick, the lemon potatoes and the zucchini chips. The dips and pita, all the way to the mini desserts. I can't say enough good things. John, the owner is gracious and cares about his customers. He helped me with the menu, so I had the perfect amount of food. Best (and easiest) party I've ever thrown. Thank you Kavos Grill II

We loved the food, everything was delicious. We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way back home and will definitely go back. Our server, Kevin, was very nice and courteous. The only thing that made our experience uncomfortable was this other server who was there. He was not our server but he kept coming to the table and was trying to clear plates while we were still eating. We appreciate he was trying to help out and make room, but we were clearly still eating. Read the room maybe?! We asked our server for the check and he dropped it off. A couple of minutes later, this other guy comes over and takes the check. We were not ready to leave yet and we had not given our cards yet. The whole interaction with him was very awkward and he had an attitude as well. It didn't look like he was liking his job too much or he did not want to be there. Which would have been fine with us. We were having a great time and were perfectly satisfied with our service from Kevin. Looking forward to going back and enjoying the delicious food. Hopefully he is not around when we go back

Send Kevin to Kavos l. That man has potential. If you are lucky enough to be in the grace of an authentic Greek man who can bring out flaming cheese, unlike some others in this establishment.... We were served authentic Greek entrees and apps that perhaps extended our life span by a few months from the Mediterranean love they imbued into our delicious meals. Perhaps we just felt the warmth of Xenia, Ancient Greek god of hospitality, shining on us with her welcome arms wide open holding Kavos ll in a warm embrace. I challenge these owners to reconnect with the roots of their homosexual warrior ancestors and stand against tyranny. In short Kevin deserves a raise, a Greek flag would look much better than a blue lives matter flag. Delicious fuckin food tho.

Staple surprise in the Classic Beef/Lamb Gyro
    Joe O.

Just ordered delivery of the classic lamb and beef gyro. Looked delicious but upon first bite I was surprised with a fish hook that turned out to be a sharp metal staple. How does this end up in served food? Unfortunate and unsafe. Very disappointing. Also, aside from the dangerousness issue, it did not come with fries as advertised. Steer clear if you don't want a bowel perforation!

Chicken Gyro combo and Beef Souvlaki Platter with rice.

The food here was fresh and delicious. Our group had chicken and beef gyros combos (with french fries). We also had the Beef Souvlaki platter (rice, salad etc). Overall we enjoyed the meal. It was beautifully seasoned and cooked. I definitely recommend it. The server was very kind and checked in on us well. The location was cute and sunny.

I could not view reviews of dishes, so had to step outside to take a peak. Cannot justify paying such prices for dinning in a tiny, dark space in half-basement in the middle of NJ. Just can't. The portions are generous, which is good. But the prices are still outrageous for the location and vibe. It is BYOB for alcohol. We walked in on Sunday at 6pm without reservations and by 7pm, the small space filled up. The $12 hummus was bad. Store bought hummus of the cheapest brand tastes better. Seriously don't understand how a hummus can taste so bland and meh. No seasoning? The pita that came with it was low quality--it gave my friend an allergic reaction right away [he has sensitivity towards poor quality flour products]. $44 paidakia--lamb chops--had 4 chops that were tender and delicate. Pasnip pure was bland and totally a miss--did nothing to complement anything on the plate. Barely any demi lace sauce--definitely on the dry side. Asked for potatoes to be sutstituted for brocollini, but the kitchen did not follow through with that ask, even though our waitress confirmed it was possible. $39 lamb souvlaki was a solid dish. Filling and hearty. Good quality meat skewer. Smoked eggplant puree had a very strong smoke flavor. Lemony potatoes had bright, refreshing lemomy flavor that we appreciated. Service is attentive and quick. Complementary toothbrushes in the bathroom were a nice touch--a star for this little amenity.

The recent expansion into the neighboring space really opened things up with plenty of seating without sacrificing energy. Noise level was balanced, lively but still easy to talk. Free parking lot with ample spaces makes it effortless. We started with a Horiatiki salad and their signature triangles of warm pita with Greek olives -- a simple touch they consistently get right. I ordered the Meraki Passion Platter, while my wife had the butterflied branzino with Patates Tiganites. The homemade round fries are addictive - thin fries with a crisp outside. Portions are generous without being excessive. Service was polished and familiar; we've seen many of the same staff over the years, which says a lot. I love how they really sliced the lettuce finely, I hate shoveling a tree branch in my mouth when I'm eating a salad. I also felt like the ingredients were super fresh. I do need to stop ordering tomatoes, I don't like them and never will. That feta cheese? Holy shit. Where do Greek places get feta cheese? it's like a different breed than anything I've ever bought for myself. I also ordered hummus and I'm not sure whether the hummus came with pita or the salad but they provided a literal dinner portion of food portion-size of pre-sliced pita. Some of it was a lil soggy, I wonder if they warmed it up and it was steaming in there? Not sure what else could have occurred there but it crisped up nicely in the oven. The hummus was also delicious. It was what I would expect from a Mediterranean place. GF ordered some sardine entree business, greens, and mashed potatoes. "It was good" she says. I snuck a forkful of mashed potatoes last night and they were very good. I'm a fan of this place.
