The fried rice was bland for my taste. The fries tasted like frozen fries...I was not a fan. I didn't like the takoyaki but my sister said it was really good. I have also ordered the parmesan fries from here, which kind of have a sweet taste to them. Their potstickers are so bomb and I can't order from here without getting a side of them. Very good Korean style fried chicken. Made great and crunchy. This place is new and very clean. So far been here a couple of times and service has been very good and much faster then the other ones. They also service some other things as well. Tried the Jap chae and it was decent. I always ask for the spicy mayo dip which I think adds a bit to the wings itself. Not all of the Bonchon offers it. We ordered the Family Meal and it was alot of food for 2 people. The quality and quantity was better than other Korean Fried Chicken joints. We got the half and half spicy and soy garlic. Wings were fresh, crunchy and tasty and goes perfectly well with beer. However, the drumstick meat lacked flavor and should be seasoned more. They included a big bag of fries although half were burnt and not edible. The fried rice makes a good leftover lunch if you add some sirarcha hot sauce. It's a new restaurant on Northern Blvd. I think they just opened a few weeks ago. They do not have alcohol or beer. You cannot bring your own alcohol as well. Their fried chicken wings are ok. I'm not a fan of spicy food, but my dinner guests were. I like the chicken fried rice better than the chicken wings. The fried rice was flavorful and children approved. The dining area is medium size, maybe about 15 tables. The restaurant looks clean and the staff was friendly. Music was piped thru speakers on the walls. I like the soft low music, so we were able to able to have a conversation. The food was served relatively fast. I think this place is family friendly, but I didn't see any high chairs. I recently visited this restaurant and ordered 50 wings take out when I reached home I notice how tiny the wings were so I called the store and complaint they offered me 10 wings but besides the size or small the wings were dry and taste horrible I declined the offer for the 10, wings because it wasn't worth the trip back over there from Long Island. I'm surprised there aren't more 5 star reviews. I haven't been to the location and have only had Uber Eats dekivery from here, so my review is based entirely on the food. It is very rare to order a bunch of stuff from a chain and absolutely LOVE every single item. I can say that that was the case for me and Bonchon Flushing! My husband and I got a family meal with coleslaw, fried rice, an order of the seasoned fries, spicy mayo, and a mix of wings and legs of the soy garlic and sweet chilli flavors. I loved EVERYTHING. The coleslaw was an 8/10 which is pretty high for coleslaw. I liked how thinly the cabbage was shredded. The fried rice was very unique and different from other fried rices I have tried. I enjoyed the bell peppers in it. The seasoned fries were SO ADDICTING. I loved them and couldn't get enough. But they are not for everyone. If you enjoy the sweeter side of Korean flavors, you will like the fries. Otherwise, get the regular fries. I wasn't initially sold on the spicy mayo with fried chicken (ii was my husband's idea) but it actually went surprisingly well with the chicken. It also tastes slightly different from Japanese spicy mayo. The breading was really interesting and perfectly crispy. It was unlike any fried chicken I've had before. My favorite flavor was the soy garlic and my husband's was the sweet chilli, so both are great! I highly recommend giving this place a try if you've never had Korean fried chicken before. Absolutely amazing! I've never been to a Bonchon before so this was my first experience. First off this was a LOOONNNGGG walk from Queens College. About an hour, and a little over 2 miles. But the neighborhood (especially before the restaurant) is very nice, as it's in the Korean part of Flushing. The worker in here was very nice and the music was amazing! Food was absolutely great.
