We have tried other places but we keep coming back to shaburina because the service is always amazing and the food is great. They have added tablets at every table to order food, drinks, or refills. It's super easy to use and definitely a game changer. Only sad part is they now serve ice cream in a disposable cup rather than a cone. I hope they were just out of cones and this isn't a permanent change.

Not terribly price at $24.99 with three selections of meat and veggies and hot sauce bar is included. I will say the veggies were lacking imo (no lotus root :/) but they had cabbage, mushrooms, and noodles. The meats were yummy too (lamb shoulder, Angus premium marbled beef slices, and organic pork belly). I got the Liu's house special spicy soup base and house pork bone broth. The spicy broth was spicy even though we got mild (so if you can't handle spice, I'd just avoid this one). Bone broth was delicious though. Pretty good selection of sauces for the sauce bar. Just no soft served ice cream at the end :(

They were out of some snack options, their meat and veggie selection was pretty small compared to other AYCE hotpot places, and there was only one server who was gone half of the time. Nothing was striking about the quality of the meats or broth. Overall ok experience but I probably won't come often.

I treated my friend out for his birthday here on a Saturday noon at exactly 12pm on the dot…read more Parking is tough around here as their shared parking lot is compact, and street parking is limited given it's near Redmond Way - a very busy street - and a ton of residential buildings; I got lucky and snagged parking along 170 Ave NE just two blocks away. If you've been to their first Seattle location in Cap Hill, this location resembles that one in many ways, though this one in Redmond is noticeably much bigger and has more seating that isn't squished together. There's bar seating and a bigger number of four-tops compared to the Cap Hill location, though the wooden wall scheme is the same for both. They serve katsu here with many types of meat cuts, all of which are listed on their menu with descriptions. Service overall was fast and efficient even when tables around us started filling up with hungry patrons. For our food: - The K&O karaage was all right at best. Meat inside is very tender and juicy but the aromatic toasted powder has so much salty flavor - and outer coating was also so dry - that my friend and I needed to drink water constantly while eating it. We could have skipped getting this. - We each got their jidori chicken oroshi katsu. This comes with their jidori chicken, essentially high-quality free-range chicken breast cutlet... and it was very juicy, with the Panko coating being the right kind of crunchy in all areas. We weren't fans of the grated radish sitting on top of all that katsu though, and most of the dish was their shredded cabbage as usual. The cabbage goes really well with their peanut sauce provided at our table. We both left feeling really full and overstuffed in a good way, though I would pass on getting the karaage if you're already getting one of their katsu dishes. Distance- and seating- wise, I'd come back here for their katsu whenever I don't feel like dealing with the parking situation that is Cap Hill.

A bit more than 5 minutes later my wife just said forget it, so I told the waiter to cancel the rest of the order. Totally ridiculous! It wasn't even that busy so I have no idea why after nearly 40 minutes we still didn't have half our order. As far as my, and my daughter's, noodles were concerned, they were good but nothing special. Nothing I would come back for, especially given the far better options in the neighborhood.

Excited to find a new Taiwanese spot!…read more We came on a Saturday afternoon, it was not too crowded and we were seated quickly. The ordering system uses ChowBus on tablets so easy to see pictures of items on the menu, we got a mix of veggies, meat, soup and rice. Taiwanese food wise this was pretty good, not the best but hits the mark for most dishes. My favorite part was the ability to adjust to less oil and less salt on all the stir fry dishes, this was the best and my sensitive tastebuds appreciated the less salty version! My favorite was the stir fried "Kong xin cai" it was cooked very well with the crunch and roasted flavor that I'd expect in Asia too. The name also had chicken soup in the Chinese characters, it was authentic and well cooked. I'll be back if I'm in the area to try other dishes and give a better assessment too :)

I can say the meat looked like high quality and tasted great! The only reason I'm giving it a 4/5 is because I personally wasn't a huge fan of the banchan (side dishes) that were offered. There was salad, that had like the full bottom parts of lettuce in it, there was onions in some kind of sauce, kimchi, just not a lot of things I personally like to eat. I would say their banchan definitely leans more towards Asian clientel, so if you go with someone who is a picky eater or not super familiar with asian/korean food, then just be aware of that I'd say. Overall though, I would say come here for the high quality meat! The service was good, but personally, I just won't be returning. I feel like there are other K-BBQ places that meet my taste buds more than this place.

Their menu may not have an all-you-can-eat option, however the serving portions and variety are more than enough. This KBBQ is located in the Redmond Town Center. We opted for the small mix combo which had the prime ribeye, beef brisket, king prime short ribs, la seasoned ribs, beef tail flap, pork belly, pork jowl, pork shoulder, and seasoned boneless short ribs. We also ordered a bottle of soju to share. The meats were beautifully presented. They also served an array of banchans including onion salad and lettuce. Service was amazing. Our server always checked in and offered to change our grill pan. Pricing was on par for the meat quality and amount that came with our order. We even ended up with a couple to-go boxes. Overall, I recommend this spot and will be returning to try out the other

The missus and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary here. I booked about a month in advance…read morefor a 6:30pm bar seating, the $250 premium option which included A5 wagyu Filet mignon and some other high-quality choices. We were reminded by the text system a day and an hour in advance, and since it's tucked away in a plaza in Redmond, it's got plenty of parking. The only issue you may have is not knowing where the door is, because there's no big sign - the towa sign next to the doorway is smaller than the window panel in the door. When you step in, you feel a sense of quiet and calm - because that's what it is. Nori Morita (of the I love sushi group in Bellevue) runs a music-less, authentic Japanese kaiseki experience here. There's 6 seats at the counter, and maybe about 10-12 seats in the surrounding tables. It's a small space but it doesn't feel cramped. There's one all-gender bathroom and one single-stall female bathroom at the very back. Service throughout the meal was generally polite, courteous, and proactive. My water glass and the missus' tea were never left below half. They cleared each course quickly as we finished it, and the meal pacing is such that Nori can keep up with you, even if he's making all six counter dishes and all 12 table dishes at once. It's kind of like a maestro orchestra, but he has plenty of helpers - at least two wait staff, and an additional one or two sous chefs that are handling the auxiliary things around him. Food: while the meal was overall satisfying and filling, there was no standout highlight, or any particular dish that disappointed. It wasn't "meh", but it didn't really wow either the missus or I. I'm sure it'll be forgettable in a few weeks, which is the main reason for 4 stars - it's a bit more pricey than I'd expect for something this high quality. It qualifies for top 10 Omakase / Kaiseki in Seattle by nature of having high end ingredients and baseline high service quality, but those are table stakes given the competition.. The Miyazaki A5 wagyu was genuinely a decent portion size, but given that I've had it before, I guess maybe I expected a deeper flavour profile? The dish that I enjoyed the novelty the most was the Shabu Shabu king salmon - being able to eat sashimi-grade King salmon that you dip into boiling hot soup was a fun treat that definitely elevated the fattiness in the taste profile. Drinks: besides water, the missus ordered the hot hojicha tea, and I got the seasonal sake flight for $39. It was a decent selection, but it was heavily overpriced for the quality of sake and the amount you got. At most I'd expect to pay $25 for four 2oz pours, especially since one overlaps with Ltd Edition (kokuryu - black dragon). Verdict: it's lower half of the top 10 in Seattle - but it's still worth going if you want to celebrate something with high quality service and ingredients. I personally probably wouldn't do the $250 version again, but I'd be interested in doing the other ones. We both enjoyed ourselves - but idk if it's worth $700 for two people (service charge of 20% is added, plus tax...), so take that for what you will. Fun coincidence: all three couples seated at the counter when we were there were celebrating an anniversary - 11th for the farther couple, and 18th for the couple next to us. So for what it's worth - this place is definitely a destination for those that want to celebrate something.

This location has a shared parking lot with plenty of spots and there were plenty of tables available 6:30 - 7:30 PM on a weekday. Beef Noodle Soup (2.5/5): Just every aspect was a mid. Beef could be a bit more tender, noodles were too soft, and the soup was just okay. Definitely a skip. Minced Pork (3.5/5): The flavor of the meat is actually solid: super savory, fatty, and slightly sweet. I wish that there was more of the sauce to soak into the rice, but it's not a bad rendition by any means. Popcorn Chicken (3.5/5): Chicken was actually cooked really well - great crispy crunch and the meat was juicy and tender. However, the actual flavor was super bland. With more salt and more seasoning, this could have been a really solid dish.
