The hotpot selections are very limited. I ordered the beef broth but wanted pork meat, and they refused because they don't make any substitutions, which I can't understand because they just throw everything in the pot of soup anyways. I also like to cook my own hotpot so it defeats the purpose if it all comes to you cooked in the pot already (lame). The servers didn't really speak English so it made it harder to order. It wasn't bad but definitely not good enough for me to come back. The only pro is that it is cheap compared to other hotpot places. read more

Gave it a Okay Because, Boil Point can be short for BP, and BP is short for beerpong, and I'm okay in beerpong. So in conclusion, its okay.

Yes, if you can call off work on a Monday or Tuesday and go to eat here on off hours, like around 2:30 - 4:00PM it totally works, for me anyways! The line is out the door after that. Good for them. The food is always good. How can you mess up a bowl of boiling meat and noodles. Man, I'm always pulling for the waiters are kinda clueless, but hey, always pulling for them! I love this food. Clean eating and I can go vegetarian when I want too! read more

Authentic Taiwanese hot pot. Spicy hot pots are REALLY spicy. Service is nice. The store is too small and the crowd is way too much. Waiting time is 1hr+ at dinner. Should be able to let people order before seated and do the check earlier to reduce the wait time. read more

Love love love this place. Can never get tired of it. The broth is just so flavorful and delicious. The only problem is, I can't devour it because it's too hot! Haha it's my go to place any time of the day! read more

This restaurant is delicious. I really really enjoy the hot pot. Spicy is good as well. Nothing beats it on a cold day. Unfortunately many have the same idea so the wait can be obnoxious. Check it out. read more

Its a good place to eat out on a cold day with some good friends. Everything tastes fantastic, but the inly downside is that everything is pre-cooked and set portioned so you can't enjoy the cooking aspect of hotpot/shabu shabu.. They have decent service and good environment. I just wish that they could be bigger and have more room on the table, because the tables could be really small... read more

I always go to boiling point for affordable and delicious hot pot meal. This location has a lesser wait time than their other location. Waiter came out and told us that our table will be ready in a minute and he could take our order already so we don't have to wait. I thought it was pretty good service. Food was delicious as always would come back again. read more

Waited for an hour but totally worth it! Very Taiwanese n delicious! I love my jp miso hot pot. Will visit again soon! Also the bubble tea is good! read more

Bring back the old bean paste sauce back! Only reason why I come for BP is for their sauce. Other than that it's your same same hot pot joint. read more

Wendy and her staff here made our dining experience the other night very warm and cozy. If you haven't had hot pot with stinky tofu then this is definitely a great place in Arcadia for you to give it a whirl. Its located a few blocks away from places like the Derby, Sesame Grill, BJ's. I'd say try the curry hot pot and if you are adventurous and haven't tried it before...the fermented (stinky tofu pot dishes are satisfying). The lines are long...but its worth a try. This place gets stars because of the decore, service, and attitude. You must try their dessert with the shaved ice which is simply awesome. read more

7:30 and the place is packed...good service,(I may have been lucky??) good hotpot! When it gets colder I may appreciate it better!!

Great food! Every time I come here the place is always packed with people. The venue is small and you'll have to wait for a while for a seat. They have their AC on MAX so it's always so cold that it makes you want to pour the hot soup on yourself. The service is non existent, and the place is still packed, that shows you how good the food is. The service is so bad that they make us feel that we are invisible. read more

Kept seeing a lot of my friends check in here so I decided to give it a try. MMMMMMMmmmmmm it was bomb!! I had the lamb hotpot and it was delicious!! it was so good i even went back the day after! Lunch has a pretty good deal i believe $9 for hotpot, rice, and tea, dinner is $10 for just lunch and rice read more

YUMMMM... Got the #6 curry fishball hot pot and honey green milk tea. I'm usually not a big fan of hot pot, but I really liked it here! We had to wait a long time though and it was a Wednesday night. read more

Finally tried this place out. I would've given it four stars since the food's good but had to take one star off for the non-service. The wait staff took my order and then dropped it off and it's like pulling teeth to even get one to give me a glass of water after that. I sat there for 10 minutes trying to get someone to give me the check but finally decided to get up and go to the counter to pay. I don't understand stand these people? Don't they work on tips? BTW, why do they put their sauces all the way at the end of the restaurant and expect everyone to get up in already crowded tight tables just to pick out a choice of 3 sauces? Just put them on each table! read more

Four stars for the hot pot, five stars for the dessert! The portions are enought to fill you up and leave satisfied. Not your traditional hot pot, but good portions! read more

I finally tried their dessert, shaved iced. It's pretty darn good! Definitely approved by my kids. I rushed the portion was bigger.

I can only give them three stars most. The wait line is so long and service is just not impressive, plus the room and table size that each customer can get is so limited. Food is ok only... read more

I'm in love with the spicy broth! Service was great place is very clean ! They also have a macaroon ice cream for desert ! Would DEFf recommend this place ! read more

It's a small little place but comfortable. The food is good. Only one thing, it's a little bit hard to separate and mix the food, they're all clumped together. Good spot on a chili night. read more

this is a popular mini-hot-pot restaurant chain store. the place is small and is almost always packed. lunch $10.99 served with a "way too sweet" iced tea (no-refill) portion is good if you are not too hungry. soup base is salty (most people here are used to the heavy salty taste, not me) I added water. Service is very limited, they are busy with not enough servers. read more

Had hot pot for the first time here. I was really satisfied. Good portion size, soups taste great, different soup options, and the lunch is a great deal! The only thing is that they won't let you substitute the meats. For example, I love the Korean paste soup, but I don't like pork belly. Instead I ask if they can substitute it for a couple quail eggs, but they wouldn't let me. I just gave all my meat to my dad. read more

This review is just for food, it's not worth your waiting even for 1 min. But the service is good!

My sister took my family here they loved it! My youngest one even ordered their seafood hot pot and loved so much he wanted to make sure I order 1 for him to go! I recommend this restaurant to everyone, try it and you'll never regret it. read more

My gf and I are the only people on the waiting list and I have been waiting here for at least 10 minutes already with 5 tables waiting to be bussed. There are 3 workers on the restaurant floor right now and they aren't even occupied just in the back of the bar doing who knows what. read more

Took this to go. Chock full of stuff (whole baby octopus, half a small crab!, whole shrimp, mussels/clams, fish balls, sliced beef (probably a 1/4 lb!), cabbage, two different types of mushrooms that aren't the canned variety) but all the seafood and meats were way overcooked to the point of being tough and chewy. Got the Thai style in very spicy which was VERY spicy. The flavor of the broth is pretty good. The vermicelli side order seemed to have been dipped in hot water but was no where near cooked. Kept it in my soup for a while to "cook" it, was a bit better but still not cooked as it should be. Nice touch to have the tea as part of the lunch order which came as a surprise to me since I also ordered a milk tea. Overall, the place has potential and may be better when eating in to ensure everything isn't overcooked. Amazing price and volume of food for all that you get so I would push this to 2.5 stars. Not sure how they can make any money on this. Be aware that the soup is really just soup, no noodles or anything in it. read more

Holly Sh*t! Best soup ever. My Chinese friend invited me here and I will be forever thankful. Love it! read more

Ridiculous store supervisor! I came in for lunch, but the wait was pretty long. While waiting I got a cup of latte. Half way through my latte, my number got called. The manager told me I couldn't eat here until I put my latte in my car!!!!What's the point?! They don't serve this kind of drinks here and they have free drinks for lunch anyways! Nothing is disturbed and they don't lose anything! All the supervisor want is to make the customers life miserable. Probably thinks that they have good business already and don't need to care about the customers anymore. read more

I love the flavor of the food, but I'm currently sitting in the corner next to the door and it stinks.. I can't tell if its cigarettes or what.. plus it's freezing and the food is taking forever. This wait is on top of the long line up outside. On the plus side, they gave us a free side dish... It wasn't that good. The hot pots Pretty pricy read more

This might be a strange review but I pretty much come here for their drinks, specifically their Hokkaido milk tea with boba. I mean, the food here is pretty good too and when the hot pot cravings hit, this place is at the top of my list of choices. It's just that my boba milk tea cravings are more frequent and their boba drinks always satisfies. There have been plenty of times where I would make a quick stop just to order a drink to go. Fortunately, they are always accommodating even when I just get a drink to go. I think both the black and green teas are brewed just right, not too bitter but strong enough that you can taste the flavor of the teas. I have yet to taste a watered down tea from here which is what I dislike the most about tea shops. And I really like their boba too, it's just perfectly chewy and sweet and you can really taste the brown sugar, which is what I like in a good boba. It tastes like the boba you get in Taiwan, or at least close enough to it. And they let you adjust the sugar and ice levels to your liking. The prices are about the same, around $4-5 as other boba tea places. I actually think their drinks taste better than many other tea places that populate this already very crowded boba arena here in SGV. Despite that, I still think they should open a separate boba tea joint and maybe even expand their drink menu. But if they don't ever take up on this idea, at least I know I can still get good quality drinks here. Lastly, now during this pandemic I've been ordering pickup or delivery for both food and drinks and I just want to add that the items are packaged really well and they still give enough portion for the buck. Their prepackaged frozen soups are really good and convenient too. Hope they continue to survive this pandemic and long after! read more

Service sometimes isn't the best but not absolutely horrible. There typically is a bit of a wait so plan accordingly. One of the better hotpot places around. read more

This restaurant just keeps disappointing me, this time they gave my order to someone else yet they didnt offer me any discounts what so ever. I don't get why people get in line to eat there still...the food taste not as good as before and the price went up. Will not eAt here again read more

Good quality, tasty food, many different choices for your soup. Could be a 4 to 5 star for the food part. The local is small so often the line is quite long, due to the fires on each table in such a small place the atmosphere can get a bit heavy. read more

I've been coming here since it first opened. I like this location the most because normally you don't have to wait if you come early. I used to come here at least once a week. Boiling Point is always my no.1 choice when I want to eat individual small pot. read more

Right now, you have to go! Buy 1 get 1 free pot and long lines! Customer service is good, but this place is rocking and busy! Good food, traditional taiwan style pots! Great stuff.... Dont expect the portion size to be a buffet though.... its decent but not one I would go expecting to eat until ur stuffed. Price is reasonable. Staff is great. One of the better Boiling pt locations. The one in hacienda hts, the service is worse than Dennys! read more

The food is good, but the service is really worse. After more branches open, the service quality is worsen and worsen. The manager should consider restructure and train the employees to have excellent services. In the future, the boiling point can be an awesome restaurant read more

Love the hotpot and drinks... i always have stinky tofu hotpot ...but the room is tiny and they squeezed tables together. you can hear neighbors' talk. ^^// read more

This location only gets 2 stars from me because their servers are slower than average clearing tables and seating customers that are standing outside in 40 degree weather! But after you get seated, its ok. The food is decent and not overpriced. It didn't seem like there was a manager present that day. I hope your experience is better than mine! read more

This boiling point is smaller than their counterparts, however, still very good food overall. I really like their sticky hot pot. HOWEVER, be prepare for a long wait especially at night, there is a couple shops diagonally across the street, one I visited was called king world accessories, it's a bit hidden from view, but just a couple of seconds from the restaurant, they have some really nice accessories over there, good place to view while waiting for a table! read more
