The rye bread tasted a bit stale, and the turkey was centered in the sandwich to make the cut cross section look loaded but then making 1/3 on each half just bread. Minimal sauerkraut and very little thousand island made it pretty dry. Based on the food would have rated my experience lower but I've had The Rachel before and it was amazing so this must have been an off day. Restaurant is decorated in a beautiful color palette. The mustard plush benches are pretty but not plush, I learned the hard way as I plopped down. It was surprisingly muggy inside the restaurant for a 70 degree day. The restaurant had only 1-2 tables when we got there, I get that there are sections but could you please use the freezing tables last? We had a reservation, but when we arrived, they sort of looked around to see if there was a seat for us (what was the purpose of the reservation?). They first were going to seat us at a low set of arm chairs with a coffee table between them. Somewhere you'd like to sit and have a drink, not a full meal over a coffee table. So then they sat us at a gigantic eight-person high top table when there were only two of us - pretty awkward.
