I have to say, I've seen a huge improvement in the meals. There are genuinely dishes I look forward to now. I'm recently postpartum, and having fresh, healthy meals ready to go has been incredibly helpful. They're easy to heat up and eat quickly, which honestly makes such a difference during this season of life. While some of the Thai or Indian-inspired meals aren't personally my favorite, almost everything else has been really enjoyable. Before this, I was ordering Factor meals, which were more expensive, often needed extra seasoning or flavor added, and didn't arrive until Tuesday afternoons -- not exactly ideal for setting yourself up for a successful week. This service has felt fresher, more convenient, and overall much more worth it for me.

Whenever I'm near Millworks I usually stop at Clean Slate for lunch. On a cold, snowy day I was…read morecraving something warm and hearty, so I ordered the special, chili and a cinnamon roll. My order looked good and smelled great, but the chili was only lukewarm. It had a different flavor than your normal chili but was still good just different. It was not hot at all and a little too salty for my taste thus the 3 star rating. I didn't want to ask for it to be reheated, so I ate it as served. The cinnamon roll good with a little bit of crunch. I first started coming here because I love the food at the Café at the Joslyn Museum and learned it's connected to Clean Slate. While I I prefer the museum café's offerings and find the prices there a bit more reasonable, Clean Slate has good food and friendly service. It's a great lunch spot that I still enjoy, even if this particular meal wasn't perfect.

They catered my grandparents' wedding, my sister's wedding, and now ours, and they absolutely lived up to that legacy. The food was outstanding, with countless compliments from our guests. The best part of this salad was the dressing--it was less creamy than traditional Caesar in a good way! More of the consistency of balsamic which I loved. There was a great ratio of lettuce to chicken, croutons, and parm cheese. Unfortunately, the chicken was rotisserie chicken--which is great--but it was not processed very well. Twice, I bit into a very hard spot or a ligament, and had to spit these out. This was surprising, as the rest of the meal was excellent. I would get this again, but with grilled chicken instead!
