this restaurant is located inside of Kamp depending on the time of day parking can be hard to find. weekends are normally the hardest days to find quick parking but once you find a good spot to park everything else is a smooth transaction. the owner is very polite and answered all my questions I did explain to her that the business number online for call in orders did not work and there was a couple of food errors on the online menu. now the shrimp fried rice is my favorite and my go to it is so good and portion size was enough to feed two. while waiting on my food I did enjoy a drink at the bar this location is a cute spot to hangout. 10/10 recommend.

My husband and I wondered in while staying next door at the Cottonwood. We loved the atmosphere and variety offered at this food court. I ordered the Flaming Hot K Dog and the Sweet and Sour Chicken. The service was fairly quick and that staff was sweet. The K dog had the most amazing cheese pull and a ton of flavor. The sweet and sour chicken also deserved an honorable mention, but wasn't anything to write home about. Overall we definitely plan to come back to try more of their epic K dogs.

THIS BURGER. I had heard about this elusive bulgogi burger for a few months now. It's only available once per month on Sundays, and you have to preorder/prepay before they sell out. At first I was suspicious if it would be a worth it because it was smaller than I imagined, but this thing was PACKED with flavor. I picked it up to take my first bite and the egg yolk burst everywhere - I knew I was in for it. There were a ton of components, each adding a layer of flavor (I particularly liked the gochujang). The fries were good too - they had a seasoning on them that I couldn't quite pin down. Being able to add a second patty would knock this out of the park. Follow Nice Rollz on social media - Kristina (owner) posts new items she's working on and you can find links to the order forms. Keep an eye on this place (Nice Rollz is a pop-up operating out of Archetype Coffee in Little Bohemia with extremely limited hours, although they will be expanding into regular evening service soon!)

This started as a pop-up in 2023 that I kept missing so when it was announced on Instagram that it…read morewould be an ongoing restaurant this year we were there opening night. Absolutely love this concept- only open on Thursday, reservation only, different menu every time. It makes it feel like a special event not just dinner. To start, the place is beautiful. It is nestled hidden the hidden oasis of Bohemian Gardens. Small space with just eight tables plus a few seats right at the open kitchen. We'll be trying for those spots next time! Our server was Peyton and she was on top of everything, really top notch. The menu this night started with shaved Brussels salad. Something I've never had before and probably wouldn't have typically ordered and I would have missed out. It was one of my favorites of the night. Nice texture differences throughout and the flavors all blended so well together. Next was the Tuna Crudo, a switch up from the planned Snapper Crudo. I don't know what happened with the Snapper but I'm thrilled with the change. This was the star of the night. The tuna was amazingly fresh and the gazpacho and pickled daikon brought it to a whole other level. This was followed by Chur Siu, a pork chop dish accompanied by a tamarind raisin chutney and greens of onion and mint. The pork on its own was good, but when you did it as the chef recommends with a dab of chutney and some greens all in the same bite it was a whole different flavor. Lastly was the pudding. It was not what I expected but was a fun different take on the dessert. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

We were so excited to try Boho Supper Club. I loved the location and the pop up aspect of dinner,…read moreand felt the service was pretty good. However, I was not a huge fan of the meal. The menu is preset (which I don't mind) but it was very difficult to find items that I could enjoy with a dietary restriction. We started out with a butternut squash soup that was wayyyy too salty and did not have a ton of flavor. Next was a pesto pasta with burrata. Unfortunatley they did not have a switch out they could do for this dish, so I had to skip it. For our main we had brisket over butter beans. This dish was pretty tasty and well balanced. The ambiance was very intimate as it was in the main floor of a large and spacious home, and the cooks would prepare the dishes in the middle of the room which was cool to see. However, for me being able to only eat 2/3 dishes, and only enjoying 1 the price was outrageous. We paid almost 300 dollars for this meal which was NOT worth it. It is a fun experience and felt very intimate, but the price and flavor of the dishes left much to be desired.

Plank has, unfortunately, announced they will be closing at the end of 2025, and while I did enjoy…read moresome of their food offerings, I can't say I'm super surprised. They definitely have/had some pretty high prices compared to other eateries in the area. I'm not sure if that is caused by cost of goods or location or what, but I think that did come into play when a lot of economic hardship is happening all over. Like I mentioned above, I DID like their food, but it definitely had to be a special occasion type of thing, due to the high prices. When we did go, I LOVED the Maryland Crab Dip. It reminded me of my favorite crab dip in the world, at the SweetWater Brewing Company in Atlanta. We also had the Green Bean Almandine that was on special last time we went and that was pretty good, but you have to be a green bean fan, for sure. I decided to try the sushi as my main dish last time, and had the Everything Crunch Maki, which consisted of cooked salmon, jalapeño, and cream cheese. It was pretty good, and had a little hint of spice to it from the jalapeño, which cut the heavy cream aspect. My husband had the Grilled Atlantic Salmon for his entree, and gave me a few bites. It was cooked well and the mushroom risotto below it was very flavorful and filling. The cute nautical ambiance and excellent service were always appreciated, so no complaints there either. I think if they had been in a different area with less expensive rent and cost of goods, I may have visited more often.

Plank provisions did one heck of a job. This oyster bar was phenomenal. The service was great, the food was superb. I will say the Caesar salad with chicken I ordered was probably the best Caesar I've ever had (and I'm a big Caesar fan, so it has to be just right). The mahi mahi tacos were so delicious, the sauce, the flakiness everything about them were devoured. Lastly loved their happy hour options, were tried the calamari and hush puppies(the sauce with these were sooo good and spicy!) The whole place had a welcoming vibe, and made you feel like you were stepping somewhere on the coast side! Which is nice for the Midwest haha. Well done plank provisions!
