    a container of chicken wings

Wings where barley cooked and slimy . Disappointed , I ordered fried plane wings . Looks more baked . We didn't even eat Them . Wouldn't recommend for wings . We also got a cheese and steak that was good . Pizza was ok .

    A delivered cheese pizza.

Heard the original Bob's pizza was back in business. And who doesn't love the originally Bob's? We got burger, and green pepper which was pretty good. The crust did not appear to be the same...missed the "bubbles." We then ordered a cheese for the kids. When that was delivered the cheese looked like it had been on a Spirograph! The "center" cup had slid all the way to the side along with a massive amount of cheese! I'm assuming it was from the poor driving on part of the delivery person. Needless to say the cheese pizza was not so good. I am not convinced this is the original Bob's.

UPDATE: I tried the Steak and cheese again. Firstly, I called in my order and the girl that answered the phone was distracted and laughing- couldn't get my name right. I almost felt like she was doing it on purpose. She kept calling me jack and my name sounds nothing like that. She kept giggling. The sub was expensive, top dollar for a sub, even compared to downtown Boston. I opened up the sub and to my surprise- it wasn't cut in half and I was on the road with no knife. Imagine eating a large sub in it's entirety instead of a manageable half. Now imagine a complete large sub that's bending while you hold it and as you are trying to bite it cleanly the steak has not been completely chopped up and it's got chewy gristle pieces that pull more steak out of the sub as you are eating it. The steak was low quality with gristly strings that chewed like bubblegum. I asked for extra cheese- totally dry on the top with some cheese on the bun side. The key to a perfect steak and cheese is the cheese distribution and tender steak without any gristly bits. This $18+ sub was a complete failure. Overall, I will not be visiting again. This place has low standards for their food and their employees but they charge top dollar. Poor leadership really shines through here. You can let a bunch of kids horse around in your sub shop but sooner or later it will cost the owners their business. They got to have fun and laugh but in the end the owners will cry. I really wanted to like this place, it reminded me of the good days when food was delicious and real but alas, the good old days are gone and they are never coming back. Everything has been cheapened to the max and profits are maximized.

The service is always amazing and the food is always on point and it never disappoints. The ambiance is like a typical diner with booths, no loud music so you can talk to your party. Let's get down to the food. Cinnamon Bun Pancakes- this is my go to because I love it! It's not overly sweet which I love and it reminds me on a cinnamon bun. I always get one lol Country Benedict- this is what I order every time I come here as my main dish. You get buttermilk biscuits instead of English muffins with sausage patties on top and the lovely gravy. The gravy is soo good. CHOCOLATECHIP pancakes- my daughter go to since she loves chocolate lol. Which 5 year old doesn't right? She always gets this and it's really good. ** Patty Melt review **…read more Roadside eatery in a tiny strip plaza. Outside, it looks nothing like the classic New England train car style or New Jersey stainless steel style diners, but inside are countertop with stools, booths around the outskirts, and the hustle and bustle giving it a strong diner vibe. Like my visits to many diners, I was here on my patty melt quest. -- Patty Melt: First, the composition is faithful to the prototype, with a quarter pound patty (no smashburger nonsense), rye bread (no sourdough decoy), buttered (not merely toasted), and with the classic Swiss cheese, sautéed onions and thousand Island dressing. No fusion, no reinvention, no omissions, no hipster jive. Good crispness and butteriness on the bread, great melt on the cheese, and noticeable softness to the onions. Most importantly, the beef could be ordered medium rare, and they executed. More softness, with gushing juices and a really pleasing bite. I suspect nothing special to start with, but they cooked it to near perfection. Only quibble would be not much crust to the patty, but not as critical on a patty melt. -- Fries: I could have had tots or a few other options, but fries were fine. Almost certainly frozen, but the skin-on variety and not the dreaded coated kind. Nothing special, but good enough. Service was adequate. It seemed like everyone was prepping to get everything gathered and cleaned for closing about 90 minutes earlier than necessary, but that didn't detract. If anything, it shows initiative and hustle. Not much data to go on, but an easy 4 for me.

But I strictly waited until I…read morewas finally able to eat in the dining area so that I could give a full perspective of the food as well as the service and decor. First off, the staff are SO friendly here! The bar lady who was describing the specials to me seemed wicked eager about a few of them. I wondered if she had practiced that speech in front of a mirror every night before bed. Or perhaps she really does love those specials (even though I can't remember what they are at the moment). Next, we have the interior. Now....a brief background for the non-locals not familiar with the history of this location: In the not too distant past, this place used to be called "Donna's Place", which was subsequently shutdown for reasons unbeknownst to me. However, the general layout is similar to its predecessor; with the exception of the table rearrangements. They ostensibly retained the bar and even threw in a few add-ons to the overhead. Also, just a caveat when you first arrive: you have to use the side entrance instead of the one facing the street. Okay. We gotta talk about the coffee real quick. While the roast itself presents a nice bold flavor, I gotta tell ya....this coffee mug is HUUUUUGE!! I swear to you they bring out like, a bucket of coffee. Thing must be at least 16 ounces! I took a picture of it next to a standard size sugar container for comparison. Friggin' HUUUUUUGE! So far, my all time go-to breakfast is the build your own omelet with cheddar cheese, tomato, and onions with a side of homefries and toast. I've had this combo with and without ham, plus a side of bacon. But I was really curious about the infamous homemade hash. And so it was. I'm still the misfit who prefers canned hash over homemade. However, this one exceeded my expectations. Ordinarily, I'm forced to get used to the trend of homemade hash consisting of shoe-leathery brisket mixed with potatoes, all of which is typically bland. But not this hash. GP's hash is surprisingly well seasoned and tender! It's strange, but almost like a combination of canned and homemade. The corned beef is minced similarly like canned, only with a different texture. It's tricky to explain to folks unfamiliar with hash. All I'm saying is....definitely give this one a try. The omelets here are phenomenal! That's all there is to say, really. Sure, they could be seasoned up a bit (along with the potatoes). But this is the restaurant biz. Chefs have to play it safe when it comes to salt, after all. As many know, I'm always down for supporting my local hot spots. And this one will certainly remain a continual revisit for moi. Therefore, I'll give The Good Place 5 sensationally built omelets with all the fixins and a side of hash out of 5.

All the food was put away, wrapped in plastic. The slicer was cleaned. I ordered my sandwiches and got an attitude from the high-school kid that you could cut with a knife. There were three high-school kids there and they were ALL put out. They were out of tomato's and bread. I skipped the tomato's and they went into the back to rummage around a dumpster to get me bread, I'm sure. I should have paid attention to the clown making my sandwiches because when I got home, I found a few slices of meat on bread. Not my normal sandwich which I get all the time so I can tell that a LOT was missing. I'm willing to bet that the slicer doesn't get cleaned again after I left. Probably a quick wipe down to make it look passable and with just enough food material on it to make the first customers sick tomorrow. These dopey kids think that they're so clever mumbling and making faces at each other, as if I'm not noticing it. Kids, I've been on this planet DECADES before you were a gleam in your father's eyes so I've seen it before and believe me, you're not getting away with anything.
