I usually never give a review after going to a place one time but this place seriously stood out to me. It is actually the best Boba place I have had. I tried the Banana Milk Shake with boba and it was so delicious. It taste a bit better when it melts a bit just because I feel it blends better but man was it delicious. We also tried the Hokkaido Milk Tea with Cheese Foam and Boba. To be honest the cheese foam is so good and I wish I got it on my Banana Milk Shake. I have not been able to stop thinking about it and will definitely be going back. read more

I use to really like this place, but as I try more of their other drinks, I had to come here and talk about how their drinks so inconsistence. Some days drinks are sweet and other days there are more teas than milk. Especially on this days the boba were extremely soft and mushy. The drinks came out very warm. Some of the finest tea I have experienced. Very full in flavor and definitely not watered down, this holds true with the larger size teas as well. They have free samples to whet your palette. Of note this is the only establishment I have encountered that has the "cheese tea". The cheese on top is very whipped almost to the consistency of cappuccino foam but more dense. Definitely for those who love a new experience of culture but not for your grandma from Iowa. Take the lid off and drink at a 45 degree angle to mix the tea with the cheese foam. Cheers! read more

What a rip-off! I ordered a grass jelly dessert that I used to love eating in Asia over shaved ice with some Taro balls, and for $5, what I got was a tiny little container that was two-thirds full, with barely any grass jelly. I guess that's what I get for not adding a tip for service that involves putting my order on the counter and calling out my number. I'm not spending my money here again. The super grapefruit tea is amazing. Even if you don't like raw grapefruit. The soft sweetness and tea cuts thru the acidic taste of the grapefruit juice. The cheese tea is the real star though, one of the only places to get the trendy drink. All the teas that come with cheese are wonderful and they all come with the foam. This place is bomb. I was surprised that it was only 4 stars. The boba is soft and yummy and the flavor was delicious! The fruit mix boba is ridiculous and comes with big pieces of fruit you can eat. It's delicious and I drive about 20 minutes to get here so I know it's worth it. Just wish they had online order system. read more

Yes! Finally a place that sells cheesefoamtea! :) recently went to LA and fell in love with the delicious cheese foam teas and slushes the boba shops have to offer. This has become one of my new favorite boba shops. Their boba has the perfect texture it's not too chewy and doesn't taste stale like some of the other places I've tried. I've had both their milk tea and fruit tea both of which were not overly sweet. The fruit tea had a ton of fresh fruit in it. I haven't tried the cheese topping tea but I'll have to soon! read more

This was a random find. My cousin is in town for work, and we just had a sushi fest at Sakana (amazing sushi, go gongo) in Awahtukee. We wanted a change of venue for something dessert-y - that was still open. It wasn't too late, 930 or so, but this isn't New York so finding something open was looking bleak. Our Yelp! search found Boba Tree, not too far and still open. And sooooo happy to have found this place. Lots of choices, from the traditional and usual milk teas to some interesting fruity concoctions. And the cheese foam!!! Have you ever heard of cheese foam, me neither! Well, let me tell you -pleasant surprise. It's foamed Cream Cheese with rock salt. Texture is like whipped cream, but a very unique taste indeed. It was about 20-30 minutes until closing but was full of people but not a long wait to order. We ordered two drinks, and it took maybe 5 minutes at most. We didn't really notice how long we were waiting because we were mesmerized by the Taiwan a music video. I had the jasmine tea with cheese foam and it was so tasty I regretted getting the small. I went back the very next day to try another tea (Black with boba and cheese foam) and it was great as well. I also had an order of their salt and pepper chicken salad, and that was good too. Pretty good boba. My favorite is the fancy milk tea with coffee jelly instead of boba though. You can't go wrong with anything that is fruity on the menu. However, this time I got the snow durian because my friend recommended it. It's decent but not the flavor for everyone and a bit pricey for just a tiny scoop of durian. read more

I came here for the first time and it was amazing! I got the bubble ocean. There is multiple flavors for it and I got the strawberry one. Its a nice soda tea with popping boba. I would get it again but probably wont come anytime soon, mostly because I don't have a craving for it. If I was in the area I would probably stop by. I love the aesthetics of the store but their boba is okay. I asked for a sample of their boba and it was good while hot but in my drink, the boba was hard to chew and enjoy. I got the honey green milk tea. It did not have a strong taste of tea or the honey. To me, it tastes like watered down sweet tea from mcds or something. I definitely will come back another time to try something different but my first impression of this simple drink was not a great one. Such a HUGE fan of Boba Tree. In fact, the whole family is! When we first found it, we went 8 times in 2 weeks! Love the care and precision that they make everything with. No pre-made mixes or anything. They're doing everything from scratch & most of it on the spot. You'll even note the "mixology" tools behind the bar if you take a look. We have had a variety of things & they are all wonderful. First of all, my wife and I are HUGE fans of the "cheese tea". It is basically a cream cheese foam that floats on top of the tea. And then you slurp the tea through the foam getting a bit of both. We love it over the buckwheat tea. It is also great over rose tea, peach tea, Japanese tea. While we've never been able to bring ourselves to order anything other than the cheese tea, our kids love the honey aloe tea with boba (super fresh boba) and the bubble ocean drink. Have tried the super grapefruit and super orange teas as well and they were fantastic too. The mango pancake is ridiculous too!!! First boba place I've been to with no dairy alternatives. I suggest adding almond, coconut, or soy milk. You'd have a bigger consumer base.

This is probably the most authentic boba place I have been to! The selection of drinks is very unique. They have an option to get a "cheese" topping, which sounds weird, but it's not so much cheese as it is a salted Carmel frothy topping. It's absolutely delicious. I had jasmine tea with boba and the cheese topping. They definitely give a healthy serving of boba, and I was very full after finishing my drink. Their drinks are much more traditional - jasmine, oolong, green, etc. - so if you're looking for a sugary, fruity concoction, I'd suggest going elsewhere. But if you want real boba, this is your place! The prices are on point for Boba, so expect $5-7 a drink. The atmosphere is very modern and calm, and I think it would be a great place to do homework. They are open later than other boba places I've been to as well, so that's always a plus. Definitely try the "cheese" topping!! It's 100% worth it read more

By far my favorite tea place, I love the cheese foam jasmine tea and their Hokkaido milk tea. It always taste fresh & authentic. The quality of the tea is a lot better than some of the boba places in town and you can have them cater to your sweet level which I usually get 30%. The decor is also very nice. read more

Love this place! I'm always looking to try new boba places and I'm glad I came here! They have a pretty expansive menu with options for everyone! Like many others before me, I was confused when I saw that their menu heavily featured "cheese" on the tea. Of course, looking through other reviews and the huge mural of a cup of boba tea on the wall of the shop, it was found that it's just their word for the frothy "salted crema" topping that's more popular on milk tea drinks in the bay area. This is the first time I've seen anything like it here in Arizona, but if any other places have it too I definitely need to try it! I'm glad I found out about it because it's delicious! I had ordered the pearl matcha latte myself, which was delicious, probably better in a smaller size to keep a better matcha to milk ratio, but I wished I had gotten crema on it once I tried my friend's drink! Just having a sip of the salty-sweet foam with the lightly sweetened tea was a perfect balance, but it made the tea as a whole taste amazing and more rounded out once the crema was mixed in. One of my new favorite boba tea spots in town besides Tea swirl. My go-to teas here are the fancy milk tea, herbal milk tea, and crazy fruit tea. I love the herbal pudding here as it is soft and silky ...easy to drink with straw. The crazyfruit tea is refreshing, and it has big chunks of fruits in the tea. It's a perfect drink for az summer heat. I like how I can taste a strong tea flavor for all the drinks I get here. I usually get 50% sugar, and it's the perfect level sweetness for me. My only negative comment is the service, some of the staff can be slightly cold and direct.
