They are reasonably priced although I felt like the price difference for the matcha Thai vs Thai milk tea wasn't worth it. The matcha itself did taste good though and I'd love to come back and try their Pandan Matcha. Their boba is consistently chewy and yummy. Drinks are consistent in quality with variety. We showed up late and the person who served us was very kind, patient, and welcoming despite it being close to closing. We were apologetic and grateful. (Thank you to her!). Otherwise, beware of limited parking like everywhere else in Mesa. This location also has an added bonus in that it's open later than a lot of other boba places so you can still fit in that boba run after dinner! We were also impressed that they have options for a 32 ounce so you can REALLY get your cravings satisfied! Overall, a really solid option.

I was in the mood for snacking and therefore, looking for a boba spot with more than popcorn chicken. Their seasonal hot honey fries caught my eye as I was scrolling through recent menu photos and in we went. They were out of the calamari, and the staff was friendly in cautioning us that the snacks may take a while since there's one fryer and luckily, we weren't in a hurry. We ending up ordering the following: - Jasmine Milk Tea with aloe vera - was quite disappointed to have the aloe vera super mushy. I would have switched it out if I had tried it in stores before leaving. - Fried Shrimp - this was pretty salty to the point I could barely finish these - Hot Honey Fries - seasoning was superb and would come back alone for this! - Popcorn chicken - okay, not much breading to it and therefore, not too crispy, but the sauces helped There is a smile/satisfaction guarantee, and perhaps we should've tried everything before leaving, but that's moreso on us wanting to go home. Unfortunately, phone did not eat first so not much photos taken.

If you opt for less sugar, staff may warn you that it won't be sweet at all unless you get the pearls, which are sweetened by default. If you dined at Mensho Ramen next door, you can get a discount on your drink order at Xing Fu Tang if you show them your receipt. The shaved ice is delicious with the ice being made from frozen sweetened milk rather than only water. An order is huge and you can easily share with 4 people for dessert. A few people were inside ordering, and most of them left after receiving their drinks. I like the capybara theme and the plushies - they were cute. I decided to get their seasonal milk tea, which happened to be the ya shi dancong oolong (translates to duck droppings, lol). It's a lighter oolong and fun fact: comes from the Phoenix Mountain in Chaozhou, China. Definitely appropriate for Arizona. I chose 50% sweeteness, light ice, and added their signature boba. The bobaista was super friendly and welcoming. Once I got my drink, I could taste the faint floral and toasted flavor, which was pleasant. The boba was nicely cooked as well. Although there didn't appear to be much ice in my drink as expected, it did make my drink cold more quickly and watered down the flavor, unfortunately. I'd probably order no ice next time. Their matcha drinks looked pretty and were popular, as many customers purchased them while we were there. I'd probably visit again!

Boba Tree is delicious! They have a great variety of drinks, and one of my favorites so far has been the super orange. The boba itself is perfectly chewy and added a great texture to the drink. I have a love hate relationship with this place. One thing they have going for them is the cheese drinks, which is unique. It's pretty darn good and is the only reason I come back.
