There's a kiosk right at the entrance for easy ordering, or during busy periods, the bobarista can take orders at the counter. There are two parking spots in the back of the building in the alley. Osmanthus Milk Tea, Half Sweet, 30% Ice w/ Boba ($7.45) - This milk tea is excellent. It's fragrant, flowery, and what seems to be a naturally great, almost fruity flavor. I complain a lot about how Westerner-catering shops add artificial, heavy fruity flavors into their milk teas - while this one is fruity, but it works so well in this drink. Everything is thickened and mellowed out a bit by the creamer. Delicious drink and good sweetness level for me (less sweet than the entrees served next door...). The boba served in the drink is a bit on the lumpier side rather than being smooth. It still has a very nice chewy quality, perhaps being a smidgen on the softer side vs. perfect. That might be because of the 30% ice - perhaps if I went with more ice, they would firm up just a tad more? Milk Tea Rating: 5/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 This place is pretty funny - there are signs up all over the place directing customers (and even employees!) on what they can and can't do. Kingsway is home to some of the best food and hidden spots and this one is up there! I saw that they did fried chicken so naturally I had to check it out. The owner is lovely and the prices are so reasonable. My friend and I got the fried chicken combo which is $15 for 2 piece fried chicken, gravy, fries and a drink of our choosing which includes anything you want ie a bubble tea! And so many different kinds. They're so delicious and made with real fruit. The fried chicken comes hot and you can pick from a ton of different sauces. Gravy is my got to and it was so good!! The fries came out super hot too and so crispy on the outside. I got the avocado and mango bubble tea and it was absolutely delicious and refreshing! The only downside is eating in it's super loud with the blender so it's tough to have conversations when the blender is going which is frequent since it's a busy spot! I will 100% be back though and enjoyed my experience thoroughly!

Selections are decent. however the menu is very confusing as they have a posted menu online, a digital menu via QR code and some posted menus. Unfortunately the menus were not in sync. My friend saw a couple of things she wanted to try from the online menu and was told they do not have those items. There are combo on the spot which are not their online menu and the digital menu. We ordered the chicken panini, a small mango bingsu and an order of tue mochi bubble waffle and taro milk tea. The food is very good. there is decent amount of ingredients in the chicken panini (which i forgot to take a picture of). The mochi bubble waffle was decent and i liked the taro milk tea as well. The bingsu was very well made but the price is a bit on the high end given the size. Overall service was good too

A fun hole in the wall dessert spot x flower shop!…read more Essentially there's a dessert counter in a shared space with a flower shop operated by the one owner - super adorbable concept, the boss was so nice to introduce his menu to us as well! Located on the same block as quite a few other popular HK dessert spots, I more inclined to go to Rose Cafe because it's quieter and a more comfortable environment to relax and sit around in. The boss mentioned they can make anything for us (!) including ginger milk, the sago desserts and that they event have the pistachio paste (yum!). For a quick dessert run - I opted for the small mango shaved iced, it's served with nice and ripe mango chunks, and a fresh mango shaved ice base. For just about $10 it's worth the dessert stop! They had a nice menu of several classic HK items - from deep fried chicken wings, to bubble waffles to pearl based drinks that only HK locals would order. Worth a try if and when you're in the Nanaimo / Kingsway area! Also (!) - very reasonably priced flowers and potted plants!!!

Machi Machi has probably become my favorite go to boba spot in Richmond. One of my friends had been…read moreraving a particular drink that he had at this particular Jay Chou endorsed chain since his trip to Taiwan last year. That particular drink was the the Mochi Cheese Foam Black Tea. As soon as I landed in Vancouver, I dashed over to Machi Machi and it did not disappoint. The drink is composed of two separate portions with the warm mochi and the drink itself. I viewed the warm mochi as more of a precusor as I dipped it in the salted cheese foam. It was a rather unique combination that blurred the lines between savory and sweet. The residual kinako from the cheese foam, added another dimension of nuttiness to the drink itself and paired well with the saltiness of the cheese foam. Though the drink itself wasn't anything new that I haven't tried before, the addition and mochi and kinako made it quite unique. I also had the opportunity to try some of their fruit drinks including the Strawberry Latte Panna Cotta, Grapefruit slush and Grapefruit Cream Covered Mango Smoothie. All of them are equally delicious, taste very natural, and not overly saccharine.
