    Four Seasons Milk Tea
    Albert T.

After hearing Wushiland, one of my favorite boba shops in LA, was also in Vancouver, I headed over to Cambie St. When I got there, I was met with 101 Boba, with a totally different menu, totally different name. I guess Wushiland sold off all their Vancouver properties to a different group? At any rate, since I was already here, I decided to get one drink. Four Seasons Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Pearls ($6.90) - The drink is very fragrant, with a bit of a grassy note like a green tea, but then changing to a kind of toasted malty, oat-like taste mixed with a bit of a milkiness. I almost think that they put oat milk in the drink. It's very good overall, and the sweetness level works together with everything else to make a great drink. Compared to Wushiland, this would probably be either a double or triple shot of tea. For this visit, they were out of boba, so I had to fill my drink with the mini pearls. Not ideal, but not much I can do about it! The pearls here are actually quite good, small but adequately bouncy, with a bit more firmness than I would expect from larger boba. Given how small they are, it's a bit difficult to tell how long they've been soaked in syrup since it dissipates into the drink very quickly. I'll have to come back here, or to another location to try the actual boba - I expect it to be very good since the cook quality of the pearls are very good. Milk Tea Rating: 5/5 Boba Rating: 4/5 Drinks are given with a paper straw that holds up reasonably well against the drink. It does start softening a bit, but even after about an hour, none of the paper had disintegrated off the straw. While 101 Boba doesn't have the same options as Wushiland, they drinks they serve here are still quite good. I would visit again. In fact, I did visit another 101 Boba location on the same trip. I've tried 101 Boba at various locations, and I hit up the Cambie store this time. I especially love the Cambie location because it's close to Vancouver City Hall, where I can sip my drink and spend the day at the community garden--it is the perfect spot to chill! 101 Boba on Cambie has a wide variety of flavours and toppings, so you can mix and match them to create your dream drink with just the right amount of ice and sweetness. Our faves: * Four Season Milk Tea with Grass Jelly * Strawberry Smoothie with Green Tea Jelly * Four Season with Mango Sorbetto and Coconut Jelly - We saw many people ordering this one, so we tried it. It's now a new favourite! And, of course, we couldn't leave without trying the classic Bubble Waffle, served hot and fresh in a paper bag. Yum! The staff was super friendly. We can't wait to come back for another bubble tea run! If you're a bubble tea lover, you definitely need to check out 101 BöBA on Cambie Street! Drink: 5/5 Must Try! Service: 5/5 Kids: 3/5 A-OK for kids. Price: Range between $6-$9 for each drink Presentation: 2/5 Parking: Parking can be challenged in the neighbourhood. Tips: * can download their app to earn points for free drinks. * have a good selection on their menu. * can check out their IG for promotions. Would I Return: Yes ‍

Clean shop, ample tables and chairs, only negative is parking is impossible on the main streets, and you usually have to search on the side streets. The bubble teas are great and they usually have decent specials on sale. Service is prompt and friendly join their rewards program!

The drinks here might not blow your mind, but they'll certainly hit the spot. Be sure to spend $20 to get that coveted parking validation!

It was my first visit to 101Boba and won't be my last! Service was extremely friendly and prompt. I'm a sucker for anything watermelon and the smoothie did not disappoint! I'm looking forward to trying something new on my next visit! Pro tip: download the app so you can collect points to be used towards drinks

101Boba at this Cambie St. location is my go-to bubble tea stop! Their drinks are always consistently made, the service is great, and the location is in between Mount Pleasant and Cambie Village where you can easily transit or find residential parking in the area. My favourite drinks are the Mango and Watermelon Smoothie. Both are so refreshing and perfect for a hot summer day! Shoutout to the staff who worked on Tuesday July 16 in the evening. Your kindness and service is well-appreciated :)

Selections are decent. however the menu is very confusing as they have a posted menu online, a digital menu via QR code and some posted menus. Unfortunately the menus were not in sync. My friend saw a couple of things she wanted to try from the online menu and was told they do not have those items. There are combo on the spot which are not their online menu and the digital menu. We ordered the chicken panini, a small mango bingsu and an order of tue mochi bubble waffle and taro milk tea. The food is very good. there is decent amount of ingredients in the chicken panini (which i forgot to take a picture of). The mochi bubble waffle was decent and i liked the taro milk tea as well. The bingsu was very well made but the price is a bit on the high end given the size. Overall service was good too

A fun hole in the wall dessert spot x flower shop!…read more Essentially there's a dessert counter in a shared space with a flower shop operated by the one owner - super adorbable concept, the boss was so nice to introduce his menu to us as well! Located on the same block as quite a few other popular HK dessert spots, I more inclined to go to Rose Cafe because it's quieter and a more comfortable environment to relax and sit around in. The boss mentioned they can make anything for us (!) including ginger milk, the sago desserts and that they event have the pistachio paste (yum!). For a quick dessert run - I opted for the small mango shaved iced, it's served with nice and ripe mango chunks, and a fresh mango shaved ice base. For just about $10 it's worth the dessert stop! They had a nice menu of several classic HK items - from deep fried chicken wings, to bubble waffles to pearl based drinks that only HK locals would order. Worth a try if and when you're in the Nanaimo / Kingsway area! Also (!) - very reasonably priced flowers and potted plants!!!

He rang us up, then ran behind curter to make our drinks. It didn't seem too busy here so maybe it was manageable for him. This is one of the better boba spots I have tried in Richmond where they have some creative drinks…read moresuch as the ones with panna cotta and mochi. I personally tried the cheese foam black tea with mochi and golden pearls which costed close to 10CAD. The cheese foam was slightly salty and pretty creamy, and the taste is much more pronounced when you dip the plain mochi into the drink. The mochi itself was slightly soft though a bit uneven in texture as some parts are chewy and some parts are already a little bit dry. I do like they nicely wrapped the mochi in a plastic bag to preserve the moisture, though I ended up trying it out immediately to get the maximum freshness. The tea itself is flavorful and not too sweet, which is what I intended because I opted for light sugar (30%). The golden pearls were pretty chewy and are the right preferred texture. While I liked the general quality of the drinks, like other reviews mentioned, the price of the drinks are a bit on the higher end but the quality did not really scale up compared to a good boba spot.
