I know all about his health and family issues now.

The food was meh... I've been eating Bob's breakfast for 50 years so I know what it should taste like. The gravy was so old it was almost black from sitting and being reconstituted repeatedly. That wasn't the bad part! There were three tables sat in the entire restaurant because there was only one server. I get that! Times are tough but there was a manager and a hostess just milling around. Especially the male manager. He was talking about family in Florida his blood pressure yada yada yada The Hostess was at least answering the phones and telling anyone that came in that they were on a wait because they were short staffed. One of them or even both of them could've sat people and gotten them a cup of coffee or an orange juice and had them wait Instead of piling up bodies by the door. It's was off putting and a bit rude. The manager and the hostess rolled silverware together for a good five minutes and chatted about things. they could've very easily helped the server that they did have on the floor by sitting gas and starting them with a drink. The best part for me was when my companion and I went to use the restroom on our way out and neither bathroom had soap to wash your hands! It just makes me wonder where they're all washing their hands before they're serving us food.

Unfortunately, we don't have a Bob Evans where we live so when we visit family, we come here for breakfast. You can't beat the quality and the price! The brioche French toast is some of the best. Today they also started serving Mimosas as well! Can you guys open up a Bob Evans in Charleston SC please!

    Bob Evans Thanksgiving Day Meal

Due to our usual Thanksgiving Day plans being changed this year, my sister and I decided to try out their Thanksgiving Day meal. We ate indoors and were seated immediately. Our food did take quite some time to be ready and our server was a little absent, but I'm assuming that's because it was a full house and there were a lot of people waiting for takeout orders. Overall the food was good, and we were given so much, that it felt worth the price of $15. Overall it was a good experience and I'm grateful they offer this on a holiday!

A quick breakfast with the kids. Busy time but seated in 15 minutes. Friendly waitress. Hot food arrived quickly.

Yawn... Another…read morecorporate bruch spot that over promises, under delivers, and seems proud of it. Dry and NOT flaky biscuits. Sausage gravy that tastes heavily of flour. Maybe it was because it was 11am? Who knows. What I do know is that Pillsbury makes better biscuits. Order at the counter, they bring you your food. Dirty tables. Lots of staff. No real excuse. Save your money and hit up First Watch, Wild Eggs, or even Sleepy Bee (with some trepidation). At least you get table service and servings worthy of the cost. Maybe it was a bad day? Maybe they've only been open a short while? Who knows. We won't be back.

From the moment I walked in, I knew this wasn't your average breakfast joint. Their {unique-feature} - let's call it the palpable sense of genuine Southern hospitality mixed with a modern, quirky vibe - immediately sets the stage. It's like your cool grandma's kitchen, but with better coffee (more on that later!). But let's talk about the star of the show: the Biscuits n' Gravy. Oh. My. Goodness. Forget everything you think you know about this Southern staple. This was next-level comfort food. The biscuit itself was perfectly fluffy on the inside, slightly crisp on the outside, and had that subtle buttermilk tang that just makes your soul sing. And the gravy? Forget the bland, floury stuff you get at some places. This was a country gravy, rich, savory, and clearly made with love. The flavors were so spot-on, so perfectly balanced, that when the manager asked how I was enjoying my meal, I practically gushed about the flavor profile! He proudly explained that they make it fresh, on-site, every single day. Amazing. Seriously, I even asked for more gravy (and I'm not ashamed!). The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy. The welcoming atmosphere is the real deal. It's not just about saying "hello"; it's about making you feel like you're part of the Maple Street family. It's the kind of place where you instantly relax and feel comfortable lingering over your coffee (which, by the way, they have a whole coffee bar with assorted flavors!). The excellent service just seals the deal. From the friendly cashier to the attentive staff refilling my coffee, everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there and eager to make my experience a great one. The manager, especially, was incredibly nice and clearly takes pride in his team and the food they're serving. It's clear they've cultivated a positive and supportive work environment, and that translates directly into the customer experience. For the price, Maple Street Biscuit Company is an absolute steal. Whether you're a couple looking for a cozy brunch spot, a family needing a satisfying and affordable meal, or a die-hard food enthusiast searching for the perfect biscuit, this place delivers. Trust me, folks, this isn't just breakfast; it's an experience. Go. Now. You won't regret it.
