Great lunch place and VERY reasonable prices. My favorite is their hamburger!! Service is a bit lackluster, but it does indeed arrive

Stopped in for lunch while in the area. Got the Thursday special - cheeseburger with shoestring fries & a draft beer for $10. A bargain! Nothing fancy here but the food. I'd hit it...again.

Nice lunch spot! We've been searching for a classic diner that just keeps it simple!! The cheeseburger was hot and seared perfectly and it left me full! My husband ordered the chicken tenders and it was a lot! Breading was tasty. Great service, we sat ourselves and the waitress greeted us within a couple minutes. There is definitely a lunch rush at noon, we were able to find a nice two seater by the window. Great eatery! We'll be back!

My first time visiting this location. I lived in Cincinnati in the late 90s and 2000s and Quatman Cafe, in my opinion, always had the best cheeseburger in the city. This location serves up the no-frills cheeseburger exactly the same way. It's just as good as I remember it being despite not having it 15 years. This location is a nice little spot in cool spot of town. All of the workers were friendly and I got my order fast. You can't beat the best burger in town, a side of awesome fries and an unsweetend iced tea for about $10.

If you are looking for a burger better than what gordan food service carries in the freezer section, don't go here. Friendly staff and simple menu. Everything seemed clean and came out quickly. But neither of us could eat our burgers. We left at least half from each of our burgers. My last mouthful I spit out since it tasted freezer burnt or spoiled. Definitely won't be getting a burger for a while after this.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday while in the area. It's a small diner type place that also had a bar in the side area of the cafe. We found a booth right away and were able to put in an order quickly after sitting down. I ordered the Fish Sandwich and subbed Fries in place of the potato chips. My daughter ordered the Chicken Sandwich and also subbed Fries for the chips. Our food was pretty good. I was concerned when I saw how dark the fish looked but it wasn't burnt or greasy tasting. My daughter liked her chicken sandwich. She said it wasn't awesome but was pretty good and she enjoyed it. The fries are standard shoe-string fries - nothing special and needed salt. Overall the food was pretty good. Standard diner fare. The prices are great and the service was friendly and quick. Seems to be a place frequented by the locals and many were greeted warmly when they entered. *The restroom could use a good scrubbing.

Great ice-cold beers, pizza, more. Playground! Indoor and outdoor seating…read more We were in town for a wedding, and we ate at MadTree Parks & Rec several times (May 2026). Our host was able to make reservations for seating areas for large numbers of people, so once we had two areas of a dozen or more, and a couple other times we had one area of that size. This flexibility was a big plus because we could only guess at how many would make it each time. We had ice-cold beers of every description, including IPAs, hazys, and other local crafts. I can't name them all, and some drafts aren on the printed menu, bu5 8 kniw we had Psychopathy, a flavorful IPA, and Seeing Colors Tropical IPA, with a sweeter / hazy profile. Dont miss their cocktails! We loved the S'More Espresso Martini: vodka, chocolate liqueur, coffee tiqueur, and espresso :-) So much yum! And we ordered various pizzas. Our favorite was the Scenic Supreme (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, red onions, green peppers, black olives) and the Vista Veggie (about the same without the meats). I also saw friends devouring Caprese Canyon (olive oil, minced garlic, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, roma tomatoes, balsamic drizzle). And of course regular pepperoni. Tasty crust, tasty red sauce, (you could get white sauce), generous toppings. We got the large sizes, which were enough for at least four people per pie. Sandwich-wise, the most popular was the Cuban Reuben: marble rye, corned beef, ham, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, dill pickle, and Russian dressing. It's the added ham and pickles that move it toward a Cuban sandwich. Well-stacked, hot, and flavorful. For local flavor, the Goetta sandwich: that flavorful Cincinnati oat-pork hash, with candied bacon, american cheese, pickled jalapeños, lettuce, and ranch. Here and there we shared Buffalo fried-Cauliflower with celery and ranch on the side. This was. Not as spicy as it could be. But if you're going to eat cauliflower, this is tasty approach. We like the tangy Fried Pickle Spears better, served with lightly-spicy chipotle ranch. And we added some fresh crunchy Caesar salads, too, and and amazing pecan, apple, blue cheese, cranberry salad! So many candied pecans! Somehow, the servers kept up with an erratic flow of orders from different groups, keeping track on portable devices, so it was easy for each group to settle their own bill as-needed. It may not sound like much, but it was impressively smooth and error-free. And the staff remained helpful, and cheerful throughout. They built a large playgroup area with slides and climbers and more. Inside there's a large play camper that we spent a lot of time in, too! This is a great place for fresh-air dining, for large groups, and especially for kids. We lived the food and drink. Lots of wonderful leftovers, especially those huge pizzas!

Then I thought okay it's mid week, lunch time, so I came in. I was limited on time, came in and ordered a pizza and a beer. Told the server she could serve it in the to go box since I had to go sooner than I would have liked. Service was friendly, prompt and she still checked on me after I had paid. Although the place was not busy, there was a large table with a baby and 2 pre schoolers. They were all well behaved, but still I'm always surprised that breweries are now for kids. I really liked the decor!

You can either walk through the gun center or enter at the rear / side of the building. Either way it is a bit of a walk so could be a concern for anyone with mobility issues. I was surprised that there were not any disabled parking spots close to the side entrance. It's a large lounge, upscale and beautifully decorated though does not have an intimate feel. Majority of seating is tables vs. bar. The cocktail menu is unique and fun, with the different drinks named after famous and infamous gunslingers. I had a Baby Face Nelson which was attractive and delicious. At first I though it was a little weak but towards the end it hit with a bang (see what I did there). I also took advantage of the ladies night menu and got a $5 cucumber mint G&T. The cocktail pricing is what you'd expect, ranging from $12 to $16. The wine list is not extensive and I would not describe this as a wine bar. But, I would come here seeking a fancy cocktail anyway. No food served, but door dash menus are available and there is also a limited menu for direct delivery from the Indian restaurant across the road. The outdoor patio looks nice. We were there on the earlier side, around 5 PM on a weekday. Service was pretty attentive with only one waitress handling the tables. I think if they found a way to serve some simple appetizers and put in a railing along the walkway from the parking lot to the door (thinking of my husband here) I'd give it five stars. They have a weird rule in that they insist on scanning your ID, regardless of age, up until 7 PM any day - this is so that no one who orders a drink can go next door and shoot (where they also scan IDs). The shooting range closes at 7 PM. So shoot first, drink later.
