I had carry-out and tried the "Southern Country Combo". It was delicious. It had chicken, country fried steak, loaded mashed potatoes, and broccoli. You also got a choice of bread, so I had banana bread. We also had chicken noodle soup and biscuits with our order. Everything was top-notch and very tasty. The food was still warm when it got to me and I enjoyed all of it. It was plenty of food for two people, even though it was one meal. I never think of going to Bob Evans, but after this I will likely return here again sooner rather than later! read more

Normally, great here.....today both our orders were wrong,and the cheese hash browns were undercooked and still partially frozen!!!!...Waitress replaced them with two sides which were good....Wifes potato soup came out as beef vegetable.......may just be an off day here but not an enjoyable meal....should have gone to Cracker Barrel. read more

This is the best Bob Evans in the North Canton and Canton area. Jim is an excellent manager who keeps high standards for breakfast. Dinner is different with poor server attitudes, shrunken entree sizers. I like the double blueberry pancakes on the farmers breakfast. I ask for scrambled eggs with onions cooked in the eggs. Went here with my grandma for breakfast and had the biscuit Benedict. I substituted meat for tomato which was delicious. Hash browns weren't anything great though. They were very crispy. I wish I had the name of the guy who served us. He was incredible. Very helpful and checked on us frequently. He even got me a to-go cup of coffee! I went in to Bob Evans today to purchase a large Cranberry relish for thanksgiving.The waitress gave me 4 small containers and said that was equal to a large container.When I got into my car to check my order I found 4 small containers that had a very small amount of Cranberry in each. I know that any time you go to a chain restaurant, it can be a crapshoot. This time we did well. My family of 4 and I ordered 4 completely different meals and I know it was rather challenging to the server. Nevertheless, she did a great job and got everything we needed. The food came out quickly and my kids ate every bite. My only thing was the fried chicken I ordered seemed a bit dried, but the rest of the meal was perfect. Arrived before noon, and the place was about half full. I observed plenty of servers. Had to wait to be seated until the hostess finished doing double duty as cashier. Had to wait about 5 minutes for a waitress to arrive. At that point things happened quickly to get my order and bring out the food. She left the check on the table when she delivered my food, which was good since I never saw her again... no drink refills. Had to wait to pay while the cashier did double duty as the hostess. The food was pretty much typical Bob Evans. I had breakfast for lunch. The biscuits are the best you can get anywhere: fresh, hot, soft, buttermilk biscuits. With their sausage gravy, you can't lose. The sausage is excellent as well. I would like to see the home fries have more onion instead of being all potato. Eggs were cooked exactly as I ordered. Service: 2 stars. Food: 3-1/2 stars. Ordered delivery of food from Bob Evans. Delivery was on time. The food, horrible. Two breakfasts and two drinks. The sausage patties were salty and overdone. The hash browns? One meal had 14 cubes of potatoes and the other meals had about 40. The drinks, one had all ice and maybe half a cup ( if that) of beverage. The other beverage no ice ( almost). No consistency. I could not believe what I was hearing and seeing. The "cooks" were dropping f bombs and yelling at the servers through the window the entire time we were there. By the sounds of it the cooks were forgetting parts of orders and were throwing fits when the servers asked them about it. My wife's French toast was raw in the middle, our eggs were runny although we ordered over medium and our meats were ice cold. We didn't dare send it back in fear of retaliation Towards or our waitress. Thanks to those cooks for using the f bomb at least 30 times while my 11 year old was eating his breakfast. We brought this to the attention of the only assistant manager we saw, and he said it was unfortunate that the open kitchen concept allows their voices to carry. The cooks were also not wearing masks and coughing like crazy. Disgusted! If the cooks were relatively skilled, I would understand keeping them, but if you can't even fry an egg, what's the point of upsetting the customers with the vulgarities as well. The place is in a rough part of town but plenty of parking available. About 1/4 full of patrons, mostly seniors. Prices are a little steep. Our bill was $30 for 2 adults & a child. I located a coupon on RetailMeNot.com, which I have used a lot in the past. Bob Evans refused a "third party" coupon, loudly & proudly, I might add. Their right, of course. Standard Bob Evans but I still prefer the Belden Village location. The service at the Tusc Bob Evans isn't as good. And the chairs at the counter are a weird height--so much so that you need to lean over to eat your food. Very uncomfortable. read more

Nothing but bad experiences at this Bob Evan's location. Last visit was no different (will not be going back to this location, EVER). Entire restaurant was dirty for the duration of our time there. No one bothered to clean off the dirty tables that surrounded us. Floor was covered in straw wrappers and leftover food from previous diners. Our waitress was extremely slow and did not give us the proper attention we deserved. Our glasses sat empty for an extended period of time and we were never asked if our meals came out to our satisfaction. While checking out we expressed our concerns to the assistant manager who immediately offered to comp our meal (we declined) and then he immediately blew us off and went back to doing whatever it was he had been so "preoccupied" by earlier. It's hard to believe this was the same Bob Evans I visited 5 years ago when I was in town last. It used to be packed all the time, now on this visit it was extremely slow at peak hours. I now know why, the service was slow, it took forever to get our food and the food was lousy. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also bad. We went here last night about 820.. there were 4 servers and 8 tables of folks it took almost an hour to get our food after we ordered. Everything that we ordered was premade stuff turkey roast beef chicken noodle soup, except for a burger which sat in the window for about 20 minutes because the crappy chef was not making the orders by ticket so there were different items from everyone's tables sitting there getting cold. I recieved cold soup, my son's got the wrong meal completely, husband got cold turkey and stuffing, the burger for my daughter that sat there forever was cold and the cheese want even melted at all. The poor lady across from us was there before us ordered eggs she got burnt toast burnt home fries that weren't really home fries they were deep fried potato wedges and they weren't only burnt but they were cold too. If your hungry, like your food cooked correctly or hot.. DO NOT GO HERE so very disappointed in this used to be one of our favorites NEVER AGAIN read more

This is the absolute worst Bob Evans I have ever eaten at. I ordered the barbeque chicken last time I was there. It was not warm, and I could tell it had been sitting out all day and just reheated. I can do that at home. My dining mate had the fish sandwich and it was awful, too. Service was so bad I sent an email to the company, they resolved the issue with meal vouchers, but I passed them along to a relative. It will be awhile before I want to go back. I love the Bob Evans in Akron on Arlington Rd. I never had a bad meal there. read more
