We were easily able to find parking in the shared lot as this location is in a strip mall. We were greeted when we walked thru the door and seated immediately as they weren't very busy for a Sunday at 9:30am. Our waitress took our order and brought our drinks out. After ordering our breakfast we waited over 30 min without her checking in on us at all and we were about to leave when she brought out our food. Very underwhelming. I love meeting my friends here for mimosa and delicious food. There is not one thing that we have tried on the menu that was not delicious. My wife and I have eaten here a couple of times now and we've never had a bad experience. The restaurant is clean and has a beautiful contemporary feel. The wait staff is always pleasant and the food is always good. Today we had the Smoked Salmon Benedict with City Grits and the Shrimp and City Grits Benedict. Both were amazing. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the city grits were delightful. The shrimp sausage had an amazing flavor as well. The only downside to our visit today was our choice to order a pitcher of Bloody Mary rather than two glasses thinking it would be a bargain. In fact, the pitcher only made 2.25 glasses and was $12 more than just ordering 2 glasses. It's not worth the $$ so don't waste your dollar buying pitchers. They tried to explain it by saying it had more alcohol in it, but I'm not buying it. Our waitress, Bree, was amazing. Super pleasant and accommodating! Oh I definitely made it to the restaurant and this has been the worst service I've recently had since I was in college. Placed my name on call ahead seating list, for a party of 3. Got a notification that it would be a 35-50 minute wait. I got to the restaurant in 35 min so waited the extra 15 min and went in to check on the status of my party. The hostess asked for my name and when I gave it to her she said oh your coming in because I texted you...ummm no, I never got a text but OK...had to let her know that I wasn't arguing with her I was just letting her know that I never received the notification. This was at 12:15 pm (keep this in mind) This should have been my clue to leave but nope I was a glutton for punishment. She walks us to our table and one of my dining companions asked for a booth just as one was becoming available...OK, now we're settled so we thought, BIG MISTAKE The waiter did not come over to greet the table until 1:00 & I assumed was new to serving because his coworker informed us that he was overwhelmed. Once he greeted us, he took our order, 1:15 so he informed us that they had not received their liquor license as of yet but we were still good. Next thing I know the coworker & the manager we're now our server...WTF but whatever! The manager says she was going to check on our order but comes back and states that our order is coming so she "gives" us a bowl of their fruit bowl that looked very different from what other customers ordered plus some of it was still frozen. It is now 1:45 & a family that was seated after us received their food, how sway?????? Talk to the new waitress and she stated the EKM could not guarantee our food before closing and were in the restaurant well before closing time at 2. I ask to speak to the manager and she goes back to the kitchen to see where our food and she reiterates the same thing about no guarantee and asking us if we wanted our food...we'll of course I wanted it as I drove over 45 min to get there and I had to be in Annapolis by 5 PM Labor Day weekend, but needed to drive home to change so there was no time to go to anywhere else that wasn't close by....after all was said and done, NO FOOD was served. The manager did comp the fruit & drinks but that was the least she could have done. This experience has soured me on this brand and I will not recommend anyone to this establishment. I endedup going a few minutes down the road to Jamz Eats and was greeted & served within 10 minutes of my arrival. I was excited about this spot but because of this experience I cannot bring myself to support. read more

I don't think that one or two of these reviews are very fair. So I'll leave a five star review, because that's exactly the type of experience I had. I've been to the one in Durham, NC before for a Yelp event and I loved it then. The North Canton location met up to the same standards! I had the Floridian omelette and my dining companion had the bacqueso omelette. That was amazingly delicious too. The coffee mugs were cool, but the coffee was kind of average. First trip to Another Broken Egg Cafe with my significant other today. The website was very well put together and made us want to try the place! We came around 11:15 am and were seated fairly quickly. It was busy at the time, so at first we did not mind being sat in a two person booth in the corner. The hostesses were very kind and brought us coffee in beautiful purple pottery mugs with the restaurant's logo on them. I also ordered a Vanilla cold brew with tito's in it and a rumchata cold foam. We waited about 10 minutes for my spiked coffee, which the server acknowledged and apologized for. It's Sunday, so I kind of understood why it took a bit. However, it was not so busy people were waiting to be sat or every table full, so I kind of wished it didn't take that long for my first drink. After getting my spiked coffee, I ordered the hash browns benedict and my significant other got the chicken and waffles with chipotle honey sauce. After what seemed like an eternal wait, we got our food. It was fantastic. The server brought me a lemon blueberry mimosa, in much quicker time than the first drink. The hash browns benedict had crunchy hash browns, flavorful bell peppers, and a perfectly poached egg, The chicken and waffles had the perfect crunch on the chicken and balance of sweet and spice on the sauce. Honestly, the biggest downfall is that we felt like the 2 people sat in the corner and not acknowledged as much as the parties there. We counted 5ish servers, which made us wonder why we weren't checked in on more or serviced a bit faster from time to time, especially with drinks. The food was phenomenal and almost made all of our waiting worth it. I am sure if we come back under different circumstances and staff, it would still be overall a decent visit. We did order the half order of biscuit Beignets which were forgotten and came out after the fact. That aside, they were a little over cooked so I'm not sure id get them again. We arrived around 12:30 or so and utilized the Yelp waitlist which helped us skip the line upon arrival. Dining room by this point was a bit messy but it is a cute modern restaurant. The main negative and reason for not being 5 stars is that they just had not enough servers so we were constantly waiting for things such as more water. I'd recommend but I do hope they can overcome the staffing shortage so it's not as apparent for paying customers. read more
