Turkey egg white omelet and fresh fruit - A breakfast meal featuring an omelet with vegetables and cheese, a bowl of mixed berries, and a glass of iced tea in a restaurant setting.
Chance P.

First watch seems to always have quality selections, a variety of seasonal options, and consistently has not disappointed. My wife was craving a waffle and is obsessed with potatoes. Both were great here according to her. The egg white omelet was well cooked and my fruit was indeed fresh. It was surprisingly not very busy. It's a newer location but we did go towards the end of their service in the middle of the week. I'm sure they get busy and they typically close at 2:30 so get there early for your breakfast and brunch.

We have eaten here a few times, service is fast, it's always clean and I love that they rotate menu items as well as the fresh juices! Portions are large and we always leave with enough for the next day!

Traditional Breakfast - A breakfast meal featuring fried eggs, toasted bread, sausage links, and roasted potatoes served on a square ceramic plate.

We stopped recently and had breakfast at First Watch. The coffee was very good and they leave a pot on the table so you don't have to wait for refills. The breakfast was great. The eggs a little undercooked but good. The hash browns were exceptional and were served was warm. The sausage links were large and had good flavor. Finally, you receive only one slice of toast but it is large and tasted great. The service was good and I would recommend First Watch.

Received an invite for their soft opening last Sunday and the way they did this building is really nice everything else is as good as always.

35 Brix - Side Brix Wedge Salad (I asked for no blue cheese... they put it in anyway)

35 Brix

This review of 35 Brix in Uniontown is me bundling a few visits into one review with an overall…read morescore of 3.5 stars. I've had 35 Brix about 5 or 6 times in the past year - once eating in and 4 or 5 times catered at work. I could have sworn I would have posted a review of my food from 35 Brix by now, but according to Yelp, I have not yet. Long story short, it is a nice place in Uniontown, Ohio with a pretty extensive menu and are okay at catering work lunches, but the food always sounds better then it actually tastes. In the 5 or 6 times I've had lunch from 35 Brix, I have been disappointed in my food 2 or 3 times. The one time I have eaten in, I got a chicken flatbread pizza and enjoyed that very much. However, when ordering my catered lunch of choice, there have been as many hits as misses. Memorably, the reuben sandwich was wayyyy to wet and a bit weak on the meat. Fries can be floppy and unseasoned as well. I do remember enjoying their Cobb salad and was impressed at the freshness of the produce. However, the one time I ordered the Berry Crunch Salad with Blackened Shrimp, I was disappointed to see how stingy they were on the shrimp. For $21, I was expecting more than 3 little shrimpies. As for the lunch from today, (February 11th, 2026), I was feeling like being a fatty but also a health queen and ordered the prime rib wrap (light sauce) and a brix wedge salad as my side (no blue cheese or dressing) which has an upcharge. I had ordered a brix wedge salad back in August 2025 with feta instead of blue cheese and it was quite good. Sadly, my wedge salad was not a winner this time - too few vegetables and they put the blue cheese in there, despite me asking for them not to include it! It was very hard picking out the blue cheese and kind of ruined my salad experience, ngl. My prime rib wrap was a little better. They listened and put the sauce on the side (#healthqueen) but this $16 wrap was a bit skimpy on the prime rib. Tasted good though. So 35 Brix isn't a 5 star joint for me, despite some of the good meals I have had here. They tend to mess up orders from time to time too. I do recommend trying their food for yourself though! Some of the items are quite creative, like the sweet potato pizza or the bougie pierogies! I do wish to try one of their cocktails too!

First things first: walking to our table felt a little like an unintentional balance challenge. The floor was a bit slick, so I grabbed onto the railing... only to discover the end post was apparently just resting there and not actually secured. It popped right off Not exactly the grand entrance we planned, but definitely a conversation starter. Once seated, though, the place really shines. The ambience is fantastic--warm, inviting, and set on a gorgeous property that makes you want to linger. Our waitress was attentive and friendly all night. She gave us a heads-up that the kitchen was short-staffed, so dinner took about 20 minutes longer than expected, but the transparency helped. And the food? Worth the wait. The lasagne was comically large (like, half a sheet pan large), the short ribs were fall-apart tender and delicious, and those garlicky rolls were dangerously good. Drinks were a mixed bag--some of the group swore by the extra dirty martinis, while one friend struck out twice trying different cocktails. All in all, this place has a lot going for it: great atmosphere, solid food, and a setting that feels a little special. My only wish is that it were closer to Cleveland so I could justify coming back more often.

We were in town for a wedding nearby and most of the family was staying at the hotel where the restaurant is located. Because most of the group was from out of town, everyone decided to eat at this restaurant located in the hotel to avoid transportation. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves with some other patrons at the bar. When our waitress brought just three menus for a party of seven and tossed a stack of Dollar store napkins in the middle of the table, with silverware on top, I should've known what was coming. The first three things I tried to order from the menu--soup of the day, chicken marsala, and broccoli--were all unavailable. Yes, three in a row! I finally ended up with a steak that I asked for medium, but it came out completely cooked through with no pink at all. Between the missing menu items, lackluster presentation, and poorly cooked food, the whole experience was a huge letdown. One thing they obviously had on hand was plenty of salt! I'm pretty sure we all consumed our limit of sodium for the week. One thing I can say is that all of the staff were extremely friendly and nice. I truly felt bad for our waitress. I gave the three stars based on the fact that the hotel uses the same area for breakfast and the server deserved five stars for breakfast. It was not a large buffet, but it was well presented and fresh (real scrambled eggs with cheese made on site which seems to be a rarity hotels these days).

I'd give this a 4.25 stars. If you read my reviews, you know that terrible car accidents happen to me after work dinners (see review on The Industry for one such example). Thankfully, dear readers, I did not have any car incidents after THIS specific work dinner. Haha! Anyway, The Bistro of Green is in a strip mall five minutes from my work office and is an institution for locals in the area - people in my group were reminiscing about coming to Bistro multiple times a month before Covid, back when they were open for lunch. The menu seems to change often. They do have a couple specials on a board outside the door that are not on their printed menu, just FYI. Our dinner took over 2 and a half hours, starting with complimentary bread and our drinks of choice. The free bread was fine. I ordered a seasonal cocktail, the Apple Cranberry Sangria, despite cocktails not having a price listed (see menu picture). I tend never to order things that do not have the price listed but the cocktail sounded too good to resist. It was yummy and very sugary and fruity, with added mint leaves that definitely brought it up a notch! Our party also split 4 appetizers: the hot peppers ($13), baked provolone ($14), calamari ($16), and flatbread ($16). As the portions are not meant to be shared between 10 people, I only had a little bit of each. I wasn't into the peppers (too mushy) but the calamari was my favorite! I could see myself ordering this as a dinner just for myself in the future. Two thirds of the hot pepper dish was ignored by the group in the end. For my main, half of which I took home as it was getting very late and my drive back home is almost an hour, I chose to get the Bistro burger (medium rare) and fries ($18). This was chosen based on cost alone - even though I really wanted a chicken or steak dish, I just could not afford them. I am only a lonely assistant, not a CEO! I debated getting one of the other sandwich options, also both $18, but the lack of pictures either on Google or Yelp made me just stick with a burger. My lack of funds kept me from being too adventurous for this dinner, sadly. Next time, I'd be down to try their fancy grilled cheese (or steak, if someone else foots the bill). The burger was good, although not amazing, and the fries were that nice mix of just oily and crispy enough. Service was okay. Things apparently got busy at the bar, so it took longer than it should have for us to get our drinks and food throughout the night. As for vibes, it was nicely decorated for Christmas, lights were dim, and Christmas music played softly in the background. No complaints here! In the end, for a sangria, burger, fries, tax, and tip (plus a 3% surcharge for using a credit card), my dinner cost me over $40. Can you imagine just how much worse the bill would have been if I hadn't gotten the cheapest thing on the menu? Next time, I will also remember to bring cash. And choose a more unique dish.

Both are fresh and so good. With the entrees you get your choice of 3 sides. Those are always the hardest choices because there are so many to choose from. I almost always choose the salad because they have the best salad. The lettuce and carrots are chopped up small and the house made dressings are delicious. The other sides I like are the crinkle cut fries, home fries, jo jo potatoes, Amish noodles, pasta salad, and the hot rice sauce. The hot rice sauce is like nothing I've ever had before. The sauce is a little spicy and it has some rice in it it. Hard to describe but once I tried it, I was hooked. I also have never seen it at any other restaurant. Their pies are delicious. I always get the cherry crumb or the dutch apple pie which are really good. On my last trip we tried the butterscotch pie and that was absolutely delicious. This place gets packed. If you come when they open, there is usually a long line to get in. I recommend coming a little after they seat the line. The restaurant itself is huge and airy. Service is always great and friendly. And they have Coke Zero on tap which is always a plus in my book.
