The Sleepy Rooster is the perfect brunch spot, lots of natural lighting and fabulous service. The portions are large and shareable, with unique flavor combinations. The servers here are what make the place, they're all very kind and helpful.

Stopped in the sleepy rooster for breakfast and enjoyed our meal! The wait was pretty long but we were able to join the waitlist from Google before we even left the house which was super nice. The biscuits are a must try, I got the breakfast biscuit sandwich, potatoes, and side of sausage gravy. My husband got the chorizo hash which he really enjoyed. A little pricey for breakfast but you get a lot of food.

Cute little place in a strip mall. Was visiting my son and looking for a breakfast place nearby. Definitely need to put your name in the waitlist (they don't take reservations). We waited for a table for 2. Service was quick and friendly. Lots of delicious options - we shared a side of blueberry pancake which was delicious. You get a choice of pancake syrup or maple syrup. I'm not from the Midwest so I don't know what pancake syrup is so we opted for maple syrup. My husband had the French dip grilled cheese which was a pretty big portion. I ordered the chorizo hash - both delicious! Would like to try, again for lunch when we're back in town.

Decorated with rooster decor. Welcoming and open. Our server was very sweet. My husband ordered the chorizo hash and he enjoyed it. I had the goetta and eggs over medium with dry white toast. It was tasty. I liked that the toast was a really good bread. For two, eggs, toast and sausage it was a bit pricey. I would consider returning if in the area again.

Amazing every time we go. Our favorite breakfast place hands down. We love the friendly staff, amazing food and their online waitlist.

This is my mom and stepdad's post-pickleball breakfast tradition - a bit more expensive of an option, but I can certainly see why! The goetta is a must-try IMO, especially if you've never had it before. Such a unique texture - like a breakfast sausage patty had a baby with a hasbrown. The chorizo in my meal was so scrumptious - large pieces with the perfect char and super hearty. Very much a family-friendly place with more than just your standard brunch options - portions are generous and the service is great since everything is basically in one room so your waiter is always accessible. Super homey feel with the feel of a hometown staple and with very modern sleek. Loved it!

This was an excellent place for breakfast, my family and I were impressed! It's got a bright and welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. I ordered the Goetta and eggs (first time trying goetta): the goetta was seasoned like a breakfast sausage but was light, non-greasy, and thin. It is crumbly (and thus hard to share), but I'm very glad I tried it! My only criticism from my meal was that the eggs were a little bland - they would've tasted better if cooked in butter. The toast had a good texture and crunch (you can tell they don't just buy generic bagged bread from the grocery store). I also tried a bit of the biscuits and gravy: they make rich, creamy, and delicious sausage gravy. The potatoes were twice cooked, so they were crunchy and amazing. I'd love to come back here and I highly recommend it!

Visiting from Miami, FL. My daughter suggested we have breakfast at The Sleepy Rooster close to where she lives. It did not disappoint. We sat at the bar with views to the kitchen. Food was fantastic. I had the breakfast huge biscuit with sausage, Cheese, and egg. Along side, the crispy potatoes. Service was great, greeted with smiles from everyone. My favorite, the head chef smiles over to us and ask how we are today and thanked us for coming in. Wow... That was special. We will certainly be back on my bimonthly visits to Ohio. Highly recommend.

My wife got the breakfast wrap and a cup of coffee. We sat in the window of this cute little establishment, thoroughly enjoying our treasures, and just enjoyed the coming of spring. The entire time we were there locals hand in hand with spouses, some pushing strollers, and others with toddlers in tow, all came and went with wonderful treats for their morning. The rest room was disgustingly dirty and when told about it, the worker said that they knew but they were busy. It took over 20 minutes for our server to come over and ask us what we wanted to order. Then it took about 40 minutes for it to come out. My food, as seen in the pictures, came out like warm, greasy and with no seasoning on the chicken. One friend of mine ordered chicken fingers and it came out cold. Another friend of mine ordered a burger, medium well and it came burnt inside and out.. Our server hasn't checked on those almost the whole time we were sitting and till we got the manager involved and then she can't come over every five minutes. Now, as we're leaving, all the surrounding stores around us are closed and now we cannot even finish enjoying our evening and we came far to visit our friend. I'm trying to give this half a star and it will not allow me so I'm gonna give it a one star. I did not recommend this place at all and this is the location at Chagrin Falls on Main Street.

The atmosphere was like a storage room in a cave for random dry goods. The "floor" was uneven and hazardous especially in the bathrooms. The stone, brick, beams are all exposed (hipsters and the bourgeoise love this, lol), the ceiling is tres low and stifling, the lighting is super dim. It is so cramped and small that you are seated maybe 1ft away from the next table. The waitress squeezes between your tables to take orders and you end up with her butt touching your utensils and dish, mon dieu. Prices are very high and portions are mid. I was so disappointed there was not one duck dish on the whole menu! I ended up just going with the shortrib (also not on the menu but specials) and it was super mid. The veggies were boiled and completely bland. The sauce included was starchy, basic and bland. The shortrib was admittedly tender and well cooked but where the heck is the flavor?! I've spent 7 days in France and every dish I've had there was very flavorful! This does not compare. The blue cheese cognac butter from the bread smelled really bad but was okay. Why not choose a less divisive, maggoty type of cheese for a flavor? Honey pear butter or champagne butter would've been so much more exciting and better to pair with the rough bread. We had reservations but things still took a while. Bathrooms were cute but I almost slipped because of the jagged, uneven 17th century like floors. My BF loved this place, vibe and food so good for him, I guess, haha. To me, it did not live up to fine dining standards and the taste of the food could not elevate it.

I must say the crab cakes were delicious (maybe not $26 delicious), the smash burger was ok, very greasy and fries were not very hot. My biggest disappointment was my entree, Parmesan Crusted Seabass which is one of my all time favorites that I order when I see it on the menu. The plate looked delicious but looks can be deceiving. The Seabass was more breaded than Parmesan crusted. Usually When I order this it is Seabass topped with shredded Parmesan cheese and baked, this was not that! Definitely not anywhere near 8 in as stated on the menu and it was hard to find with all of the broccoli on the plate. We will be visiting family here again but definitely won't be back here.
