This was my first visit to this First Watch location. Arrived around 1pm on Friday for lunch with about a 10 minute wait. Service was mid. Sat for a few minutes before our server checked in and got our drink order. Once drinks arrived it took a little longer for them to come back and take our food order. Not particularly friendly or attentive, just came back once to see how the food was. I guess all of this to say service wasn't good or bad, but it took a long time for Friday lunch visit--I wouldn't want to come during work because one might not get in and out on time. Food and drinks were good. Tasted my mom's ham & gruyère sandwich and tomato basil soup, both delicious. Sampled her Morning Meditation juice and I liked that as well. I had the Purple Haze tea which I loved. I ate the Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl which was alright but it was lighter on the kale (quite literally two little pieces) than I would have liked. The restaurant was loud and very full. The seating feels kind of awkward and tight. Walking to the bathroom felt precarious. Always like first watch as the food and service is consistent. This last time though. The food came out cold. Not sure if this is a kitchen issue or server issue. Sometimes I think due to lack of staffing the food is prepared but sits until a server can get it to you. Like other restaurants I'm sure staffing is a nightmare these days. read more

First Watch is my new favorite restaurant in my hometown of Canton. We "got in line" on line and only waited 5 minutes or so when we arrived. Courtney was attentive and courteous. Got here at 11:40 and we had to wait 40 minutes just to sit down. Not sure if that's normal or not for breakfast places like this or not. Food was mid. Got to tri-fecta, sausage was good, eggs weren't too good, pancakes were not good (might just be because it's a multigrain bread) but eggs and pancake were cold. I think it's very overpriced too. I recently had breakfast at First Watch. We were immediately seated and ordered coffee. I do recommend the coffee but it is pricey at almost $4. I ordered the Avacado Toast which comes with 2 eggs which I ordered over easy. I also ordered a side order of toast. The Avacado Toast was good but did not have as much Avacado as some of the pictures on Yelp. The eggs were good and the toast was good with a heavy grain texture, The service was great. read more

We had a reservation before we entered, and when we came in, they had told us that we were next, but then they had three other groups go before us before we were taken to our table. First of all, I would check the wait-time on their website and get on that waitlist so you're not spending too much time in your car before they text you that your table is ready. I've been there when the wait is an hour and another time when I was seated right away. I really do enjoy their food and cocktails there. I had the Pomegranate Sunrise which is tequila, pomegranate, fresh lime, and agave nectar and it was amazing. My boyfriend drank the Morning Glory which had vodka, orange, lemon, turmeric, ginger and agave nectar. If you like turmeric and ginger, then Morning Glory is for you! To eat we both got the Carnitas Burrito and it was delicious. It had carnitas (obviously), potatoes, eggs, cheese, beans, and avocado wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla and smothered in tomatillo sauce. While First Watch may be a chain restaurant it absolutely does not feel like one! When you walk in for breakfast you not only get your own pot of coffee, there is also complimentary WiFi and (my favorite) a free newspaper! It's a lovely laid back vibe where you don't feel rushed to get in and get out so they can seat more people. So let's chat food... it's all delicious. They take bacon very seriously and I love that about them. It's always perfectly prepared. Their seasoned breakfast potatoes are super yummy as is their homemade toast. It's the perfect classic breakfast. So my friends and I have a thing... it's called the table cake. I highly recommend you try this - it's straight pancakes for the table to share. Meh. Very average experience here. My food was lukewarm at best. Pricey. Not great big portions. Crowded with terrible acoustics. It was way too loud in the restaurant and I couldn't hear myself think. There are better places for breakfast. And I don't like how they feel the need to make the bacon so sweet. Unfortunately, due to the long wait times, it is not feasible to go here anymore. Call ahead seating wasn't exactly useful as our actual wait time was longer than the predicted wait time. Then when we did get seated, we waited for a very long time- over 30 minutes for our food. The wait time makes the service poor, unfortunately. The chicken patty sausage tasted like dog food, the eggs were overcooked and it was very expensive for what we got. There are way better places to go. I really like this place! We tried both delivery and inside dining. They have vegetarian options and they are eager to submit the meat with no issues on some of the meals.
