Samantha's Frontier Restaurant is open every day from 6 AM to 2 PM. They serve ample portions of delicious foods at reasonable prices. This standalone restaurant is located on East Maple Street in the village of Hartville, Ohio. The private parking lot is of adequate size for the business, this is good because the place can get packed. Every time I've visited, it has been very busy. The Samantha's franchise includes four restaurants in total, two in Canton, one in Louisville and this location in Hartville. The Louisville location serves breakfast, lunch and dinner while the other sites serve breakfast and lunch. I have not tried the other locations. I appreciate this restaurant keeping the 6 AM opening time when so many other restaurants serving breakfast don't open until 7 AM. I was with a group of ten when we ambushed the restaurant around 9 AM on a Tuesday morning. The restaurant was mostly full but they were happy to accommodate us. We pushed a few tables together and had a great breakfast experience. I cannot recall our server's name but she was delightful. She didn't miss a beat keeping our coffee cups and water glasses full and providing friendly and professional service. Every order was correct and everyone really enjoyed their meal. The food was abundant and oh so delicious. I had the Country Fried Steak and Eggs meal with homefries topped with grilled onions and peppers . For my bread I chose sourdough toast. My meal was truly fabulous, the best breakfast I've had in awhile. I tried a bite of my cousin's Amish Fried Mush and it was fantastic too. I love Samantha's and always try to stop in when I'm back home visiting family. I grew up in the area and almost always see people I know when I visit. It always feels like home.

Great food for a great price and you won't be disappointed with your portions! The restaurant is very presentable and has a lodge like feel on the inside. The waitresses are also very polite and quick on the refills. Thank you for such a great experience!

Comfortable and Friendly. Jen, our server made the breakfast special. The food is good, above average. This is not a place where they make scratch-made food. It is a place where they elevate average dishes. I liked it for a go to place on the way, but not a drive out of the way to get to place. The sausage and gravy is comfortable balance of savory with a whisper of spicy.

Wow! Big portions! Prices slightly high but good food! Best thing I liked was they kept our drinks full but never bugged us! They let you eat in peace but take care of you! I had the mush it was deep fried, wish it were griddles. Oh well. My boyfriend has country friend streak, he had no complaints. We will be back!

Today, we had a unique adventure when we visited Hartville Hardware in search of ground cover to…read moreprotect our freshly sown seeds from hungry critters. Richard was extremely helpful and showed us where the garden department was located. Even the bags of dirt are displayed as beautifully as merchandise in a high-end store! After making our purchase, we decided to head over to the restaurant. We were warmly greeted and given our choice of a booth or table--we chose a booth. Our server, Josh, promptly offered beverages, and we enjoyed freshly brewed coffee while looking over the menu. I chose the BLT on a croissant with a side salad. The meal also came with fresh buns, available in either whole wheat or white. Josh told us that most people choose the white, which made me smile. The salad arrived almost immediately and included shredded lettuce, grated carrots, and two tomato slices with a side of blue cheese dressing. It was good, but the BLT--wow! It had more bacon than Miss Piggy could dream of. Unfortunately, there was no mayonnaise on it. I'm not sure whether it wasn't offered or if I simply overlooked it, but I added some to the half I brought home, and it was just as delicious later. I would highly recommend the BLT on a croissant. And if you have the opportunity, ask for Josh as your server. We were told we could request him, and honestly, I would go back just for his excellent service. Another fun aspect of the experience is the atmosphere. The place feels almost like a Las Vegas venue--huge, spotless, and designed to accommodate hundreds of guests. Despite its size, the service was outstanding. We even shared a few laughs with the dessert server. Speaking of desserts, you should see them--they're enormous! So, stop by the hardware store, enjoy a meal at the restaurant, ask for Josh, and save room for dessert. I highly recommend the entire experience and can't wait to go back!

Seems they could have moved the line along quicker than they did. I get you may not have servers for all the tables but you can let people get seated and get a drink while they wait. It's a very large open dining area. The buffet is better.
