First time visiting and we were impressed.  Saw on a social media post they were having a special beer pairing "Founder's" dinner and thought it would be a good time to try the food and beer. The menu was unqiue to the night so won't spend much time on it on the review in case you cant get it again.  But I'd say the food quality was excellent, the quantity plentiful and the pairings on point.  The beers were good, and they made the food better.  And vise versa.  Try one of these pairings soonest.  Value unparallelled locally. They served a hefeweizen that was light and had notes of bannana, 2 IPAs, and a dessert beer.   My wife loved the hefeweizen, and I enjoyed the variety and depth of the IPAs. The dessert beer, called "The Greentown Bee" shouted out the locale and paired well with the lemon cake served.  Staff/owners seemed like a family.  They were friendly, personable, and knowledgable about the beer.  They were able to describe the brews down to the hops and strain of yeast used -which impressed me.  Also told us about trivia and band nights we'd like to check out. For the non beer and beer+ drinkers in your party they have a small but nice cocktail list and some wines and craft sodas.  Go. Drink.  Be Merry. read more

The food here is amazing, and the beer is really good! We have the pretzel, which is giant, sauerkraut balls, and the schnitzel. Everything was excellent. Service was fast and friendly. One of those places that make you feel really sad that it's a vacation stop and you will never get to have it again. read more

Awesome food from the Wiener Schnitzel to the sauerkraut balls. The German potato salad and spaetzle were spot on, and were good as well. Spaetzle is like a less cheesy Mac and Cheese with dumpling like texture. The staff were also nice and there is plenty on the menu to satisfy your taste buds. They also have sausage boards that are shareable and reasonably priced. This is a good place for everyone even if you don't drink. They have a delicious blueberry lemonade for tea totalers like myself. The ambiance is nice and the decor is interesting. It's a smaller place but with enough places to sit. They do have a few tables or benches outside. I came in just after noon and it wasn't over crowded. read more

We recently visited New Berlin for beers and dinner. We started with Damn the Kaiser IPA which is brewed onsite. It is an excellent IPA but not overly hoppy. It has a medium amber color and is very drinkable. We tried the Pork Schnitzel which was made fresh and is served with a dark mushroom gravy and a side order of spaetzle. The schnitzel was large but slightly overcooked with a few areas a little difficult to cut. The gravy was very good and rich. Finally, the spaetzle was great and served in a light butter. The service was excellent and I am surprised more people have not discovered this microbrew. read more

Great spot with friendly service! The decor and lighting is very warm and inviting. The beers are good. We really weren't hungry, but we did try the pretzels with the beer cheese dip and they came out piping hot and soft and delicious. During the hour and a half we were there, they probably served around 26 covers and they were offering a Mother's Day brunch menu, which looked pretty yummy. I wish I had been more hungry. I had been wanting to come here since they opened and I hope to be back sooner rather than later. I noticed they served gluhwein (not sure I spelled that right) at Christmas time and I thought it would be a cool touch to serve them in collectible mugs. I'll keep an eye out for that this year. In the meantime, I hope to be back to their patio this summer. read more

We decided to check this restaurant out a few nights ago with some friends. I have to say I love the passion from our local businesses owners! The beer here was a wonderful selection, something for everybody in our group. The appetizers I could've easily eaten all of them on the menu and including some of their sides for my meal. The entrées were less than awesome. Most of the brats were dry and crumbly. They get them from a local butcher, so maybe it was a bad batch. Most of the brats lacked flavor, but not all. We will definitely come back, but likely for just the beer, apps, and sides. We didn't have room for dessert but the 2-3 we saw on others tables looked amazing. read more

Recently visited this brewery after a bike ride, arriving thirsty and hungry. The location is in a strip mall but inside it's got some personality and has a cohesive German vibe reflected in the beer and food selections. The beer list had only three of their own brews, along with a number of guest tap beers that were a bit high priced at $8 per draft. The Reuben was a special and got good reviews from my partner. I ordered the spicy fried cauliflower and the potato soup and both were delicious. The service was prompt and friendly, and a bartender mentioned that they have a new head brewer joining their team, so I expect the beer selections will expand in the near future. read more

It was our 1st time eating at New Berlin Brewing. We met up with friends that had been stationed in Germany for a few years during their time in a service. The beers were excellent! We tried nearly every Brew they offered. However, the food did not impress. Everything was way overcooked. Our schnitzel was burnt. My wife had the Reuben grill sandwich and it was also burnt. We stopped for a gift card and a quick drink. Tried the Blond, and the Hefeweizen. Both were very good. They have some tasty apps we tried the pretzels, and the spicy fried cauliflower. We also sampled the soup du jour and it was so good we got two to go for lunch the next day. All the servers were great, and they're really making a nice brewery here. Been there a few times to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Food is so very good I'm amazed. Service will improve over time I'm sure. The beer started out terrible but seems to have really improved since. Not a large seating area; tables are chilly. The bartender is very nice and helpful - wait staff seems to be getting their footing. Happy to go back again and make sure the BLT stays excellent. Great fries too but eat them fast; they get cold quickly. read more

If I could give a 0, I would. We go in and it says seat yourself. We find a table and sit for 15 minutes without anyone coming to serve us. The lady walking around, maybe the owner's wife, would only greet and assist people she knew. She walked past us six times and didn't say a word or offer us menus or water. We walked out. They only had one server and maybe the owner's wife could help instead of talking to people she knows. I won't be back. What a poor example of management. read more

I chose one which were was quickly packaged into the growler can and I was on my way.
