Walked over to the self-serve soft drinks, and filled two large cups with iced tea. The cashier rang our order up quickly, and smiled when thanking us for stopping by Sheetz. She also asked if we needed anything else. Within a few minutes, we received our food. The sandwiches were really good. My spouse liked the chicken sandwich. The chicken was a good size and moist. My sliders were very good. They tasted great but I wish there was a little more cheese in them. The iced teas were refreshing. We ate inside at one of their tables. Our server, Josh, promptly offered beverages, and we enjoyed freshly brewed coffee while looking over the menu. I chose the BLT on a croissant with a side salad. The meal also came with fresh buns, available in either whole wheat or white. Josh told us that most people choose the white, which made me smile. The salad arrived almost immediately and included shredded lettuce, grated carrots, and two tomato slices with a side of blue cheese dressing. It was good, but the BLT--wow! It had more bacon than Miss Piggy could dream of. Unfortunately, there was no mayonnaise on it. I'm not sure whether it wasn't offered or if I simply overlooked it, but I added some to the half I brought home, and it was just as delicious later. I would highly recommend the BLT on a croissant. And if you have the opportunity, ask for Josh as your server. We were told we could request him, and honestly, I would go back just for his excellent service. Another fun aspect of the experience is the atmosphere. The place feels almost like a Las Vegas venue--huge, spotless, and designed to accommodate hundreds of guests.
