It is very bright & clean space and very inviting. The menu has a little of everything. We had chicken tenders and some special turkey sandwich which we were very tasty. To start off the service from Amanda was excellent. We had onion rings for a starter. they were delicious, they weren't dancing greasy. They had a crisp taste. Very good. My wife had the the Reuben fries and they were to die for, fresh cut fries and we're not greasy. I had a roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes that were delicious and they were homemade mashed potatoes. I also had the wedding soup for starters and it was awesome. I am a fan of the coneys here and would recommend them. They have the right bread and nicely cooked dogs. Two hands to lift this hefty coney but one handed eating works after you start. One coney is probably enough to satisfy almost everyone. The coney sauce is a tomato based thin chili which reminds me of sloppy Joe a little in taste but not consistency. There was no dripping or anything like other chili dogs I have had. I recommend upgrading to fries over chips and I prefer the cheddar coney with onions to the regular coney dog. As a chili dog fan, I rate this dog 7/10. This joint is pretty much for locals and the service is geared for dine in over take out (at least in my experience of a single visit). read more

Visiting from NC for the week. My brother, from Hartville, suggested I try this restaurant. Friendly staff and fast serving. Fast food delivery too. Large menu selections, with daily specials on a white board. I ordered the hot roast beef sandwich with white bread and it was huge. Lots of gravy on the sandwich. So some suggestions: toast the white bread ( adds a little crunch, less soggy) and take it easy on the salt in the gravy- meat. I wanted the chocolate- moose cheese cake ( on the specials board) but was out....fix your board! I will be back .... 5 stars!! read more

I was really conflicted about giving College Inn a 3 or 4 rating, but we'll get back to that in a moment. College Inn is great for take out, & they specialize in their sandwich selection. I'm especially fond of their Friday Fish Special, which I usually pair with She-Crab Soup or Clam Chowder - Friday exclusives. It's also nice that they have a drive though window! You can call, place your order, & then pick it up out back all without getting out of your car. But, the huge downside is that the quality can differ dramatically based on when you stop in or who is working. This is a shame given how good the food CAN be at times. Beyond this, I wish they would adopt some sides that aren't deep fried. I would like to live past the age of 40 without cardiac issues if possible...... read more

I have eaten at this restaurant 3-4 times in the past few months. My favorite lunch selection is the Chicken Salad wrap. The service is very prompt, friendly and helpful. The interior is very clean, excellent lighting and several different choices for seating. There are many selections on the menu and a "Specials Board" for lunch and dinner. My guess guess is that this restaurant is very dependable for a good meal regardless of the time of day. If you like a Friday fish dinner, check my photo of what I would call the King Kong of fish sandwiches. If my memory serves me, they do not open until 11:00AM close early in the evening. read more

I had chicken fingers and French fries with honey Dijon for dipping sauce. The chicken fingers were ok. The French fries were so grease soaked and mushy it made them inedible. Passing through this town on a trip we saw the Yelp reviews and stopped in. Glad we did. Add us to the list of satisfied diners. As frequent travelers, we try to avoid chains so we love using Yelp to help find good local joints. College Inn Eatery was an enjoyable experience. Our waitress Morgan helped make soup recommendations which we needed to warm up on a dark snowy night. And she kept our soda glasses filled. Thanks Morgan! For dinner we went with the tried and true Reuben and with the homemade chips it was the perfect comfort food. Also had the broccoli and cheese poofs appetizer and they were warm and filling too. Love love love! This place is always a classic. Every time I visit family in Alliance, I stop in! Everything I've eaten has been amazing. The grilled sandwiches are always a good choice and I always upgrade to their thin French fries! Yum so good. If you like smoked turkey and onions, get The Duke! Grilled onions, turkey, bacon, cream cheese and a hint of BBQ sauce. What else could you ask for?! The Gobbler is also a classic. Yum yum yum. If you're looking for a healthier option, the salads are also scrumptious!! I've had a couple different ones and I love them. My sisters favorite is the one that comes with fries!
