I don't normally leave reviews, but this was the worst service I've ever experienced, and I feel like management needs to know. Our waitress, Audrea was shockingly unprofessional. She didn't greet us when we sat down. It took forever to get our drinks, and when one of them came out wrong, she rolled her eyes and muttered "Jesus Christ, it's just a drink." When we asked for a small substitution on a dish due to a food allergy, she cut us off and said, "No. The kitchen's already slammed and I'm not babysitting tables tonight." She seemed angry just to be there. What really crossed the line was when she started yelling at the hostess in front of customers. I couldn't hear the entire exchange, but she said something like, "You don't tell me how to do my f***ing job," loud enough that the entire front section went quiet. It was incredibly awkward, and the poor hostess looked mortified. I honestly don't understand how someone with that attitude is allowed to work in customer service. The food was terrible and not cooked correctly. The manager on shift which was a female in a leopard blouse kept giving my table specifically rude glares the whole night. We did not even talk to her at all. The waitress was rushing us to order our food even though we had told her multiple times we were not ready yet. She was very tense with us and did not even check up on us after we got our food. The only time she came back was to ask about the checks and then handed them to us. If she would have came and checked on us when we got our food, she would have noticed we didnt eat much of it. Because the food was either burnt to inedible, over cooked meat, undercooked sea food, completely unseasoned, and cold. I would not recommend this place at all to anyone. Applebee's cava is "all right, "but I would never read them as being excellent. We ordered our bourbon steaks to go; we are then be done medium. I guess my friends steak was OK because she didn't complain. For my steak, however, only about 1/4 of it was cooked properly, so it was tender and juicy. However, the rest of it was over cooked and Chewy, so Chewy, do you want is it like shoe leather necessarily but it was close. We have frequented this restaurant several times in the last eight years. I'm not certain why we continue going because we don't always receive high-quality meals? I've never been much of a fan of Applebee's, but we were in town on Easter evening and it was one of three restaurants open near our hotel. I got the Chicken Wonton Tacos which aren't bad. DD1 got a mango lemonade which she enjoyed, and the fish and chips dinner, which again wasn't bad. DD2 got a strawberry lemonade which she also enjoyed, and one of the dinner salads with chicken. Again not bad, but not memorable. Service was fantastic! We loved our waitress. Also the manager came by to check in. When our waitress left our check, she also left three bite size reese's bunnies. How sweet! We left her a big tip and wished her a happy Easter. I probably wouldn't go there again since the food is not that great. Applebees is Applebees, yet some are executed better than others and this is a good one. Went there yesterday for lunch. We were seated promptly and courteously. Rather than some teenybopper running ahead of us to our table we were escorted by an articulate young man who was actually quite friendly. We were tended to almost immediately and our drinks arrived quickly. My glass was never empty, we were routinely checked on. It was a happy service day. The food is what it is. We did the 2 for $20. Food was just average - general Applebees fare. But it was the service that made this experience stellar. Restaurant was clean. Waitress was friendly. Food was prompt and decent. The Alliance Applebee's has been awesome over COVID-19 . They have maintained awesome customer service, wait times and yes, great food. No matter if you are in the dining room or use take out or curbside service. The food pretty sure is making my girl friend sick they under cooked her steak and she said medium rare it looked like the chef seen extra rare on the slip and was a smart ass about it but it came out still looking frozen in parts of the meat toward the middle it was grilled blackened with the grill but the meat on the outside was still grey... then we send it back and they re cook our same steak (12-17-21) not only did it come back out done it was burnt and her potatoes were cold as well and her broccoli I don't know how y'all do it somtimes read more

I've only been to Applebee's once and can I just say I will never be coming back because of a few hostesses you have there. My wife came in there with myself and her parents. The hostess asked if she needed two menus and when we asked what she meant she proceeded to say how my wife was with child. My wife is not pregnant and hasn't been. When we told her that, she called my wife obese and told her she looks like she could eat for four. And then we sat down and it took an hour for our food. I really like Apple Bee's..there are always some new items mixed in with the classics. The menu has many good choices (except I am disappointed a lack of vegetarian selections). Went there on Thursday, 6/17, at around 4:00pm. Noticed first that the table next to us, which came in 10 minutes after us, received their drinks before us. Then they got their appetizers, which we were still waiting on ours. Next thing we're being brought our meal with still no appetizers. I'm always amazed at the number of vehicles in the parking lot because I don't know what others see in this Applebee's. I realize there are few places that are open late into the evening so that may account for some of it. Waitstaff is pleasant enough and the drinks are good, but the food too often appears to have come out of the freezer and gone into the microwave on its way to the diner. Too many menu options contain processed foods. Also the kitchen staff is not always trained effectively. The last salad I got there was a bowl of basil, not spinach. Have you ever smelled a big bowl of basil?? It is really overpowering. When I brought it to the attention of my server I could tell she did not believe me but she took my salad back to the kitchen. A few minutes later the manager came over and apologized saying the bag of basil leaves had been mis-marked. Okay... Throw in half a small over-salted potato and one slice of a mushroom and...DEAR GOD, THIS MEAL WAS SOMEONE ELSE'S LEFTOVERS WASN'T IT?! Read ALL the fine print on the menu. My partner's burger was just squishy meat on a bun. If you want lettuce, tomato, onion, condiments, pickle or cooking apparently you have to special order it. (No bacon on the bacon burger, is this a thing? Is PETA manning the kitchen?) The giant rectangular plate made the few fries scattered on it look like they were dropped from someone else's plate on the way to the table or maybe someone else got the ones that fell off of his plate! Not good. The fries were the only good thing. NO vegetarian options at all. None. Don't order the "Caesar Salad" out of desperation, it will only make you sad. (They might rub meat on it just to ruin even the simplest of requests.) For those traveling through Alliance, Ohio, why would you? But if you have to, be advised there is a "Bob Evans" a block down on the left, go there or drive a little further and go to any number of fast food places. You will be more satisfied. Epilogue: We left the gross food on the plate and did Burger King drive-through for a veggie burger and a Whopper. Never have my wife and I been so embarrassed. We went out for dinner and on the way home decided to stop for dessert and to try the new dollar drink. We started with our drink but initially held off on dessert because we were so full. We were having a great time laughing and talking. We continued to order drinks with the intention of dessert when we felt we could enjoy our usual, the triple chocolate meltdown. It was at this time what we could assume was a manager approached us to let us know he was going to "slow us down." We were not being loud or belligerent. We were not rowdy. The gentleman approached us and spoke to us loud enough for the bar and surrounding area to hear. His reasoning was because we had 4 drinks in an hour and a half. Those drinks were not very strong and very full of ice. We could not bare to stand the embarrassment of how we were treated and talked to. Ate there yesterday with my family. 3 adults and 3 children. I am gluten free and didn't feel the staff was very knowledgeable. Though, I didn't seem to get glutened after having the salmon(the salmon was delish), mashed potatoes, and green beans. The menu is misleading as for how many sides you get. We got there at 4:20p and they didn't have any baked potatoes (the menu states they will be ready after 4pm and we were told they wouldn't be ready for more than an hour.) Also, 2 orders of mashed sweet potatoes were messed up and given regular mashed potatoes instead. They corrected it, but just seemed like there was no communication between the servers and the kitchen. The parking lot was full and yet the restaurant was empty...not sure how that happens. I had to send my steak back. It was completely fatty. I couldn't even cut it up. This restaurant uses way toomm much salt on their food. Our server was nice but the damage was done with my steak.
