Great airport stop. Prices are fair and not outrageous like many. Cheese curds came out hot and tasty. Guacamole has a nice flavor as well. Great view of the airstrip, this the name ObservationDeck.

What an experience today! It's the Eclipse Day what better thing than to flew out of Canton Ankron airport. Robin was our bartender and photographer for the Solar Eclipse. We did not see the total since we were driving... but I totally impressed by the service and the food was delicious. Great Lakes Brewing Co. Lager and a Strawberry Rhubarb Ale from Ignite Brewing was delicious with my Salmon Lox Bagel and Kathys Chicken Wrap. Dessert was my Blood Orange Cider from DownEast Ciders. The atmosphere and friendliness here was welcoming. We even talked to a nervous flier that was going to the same location as us. Nettie you will be okay, after not flying for 40 years we got your back. The people are really great at the Akron Canton Observation Deck.

New since March 2023 in the Akron-Canton Airport. Me, Reese Sr & Joanna had flights back to the Carolina's. They were going to Myrtle Beach & I was going to Charlotte. This place was near both of our gates and we had some time before departure so we decided to have lunch here. I had the turkey & avocado sandwich and they split a hamburger. We all agreed it was OK for airport food. They had some local craft beers and again, OK. What makes this place unique is the big wrap around bar so you can see into the airport concourse down to gates 7, 8 & 9. If it's not too loud you can also hear the boarding announcements in the terminal and at the closes gate #7. What is also nice is the floor to ceiling glass that allows a full view of the tarmac and runway.

Old fashioned and cheese curds. What could be better?!

Valerie is the best! She is friendly and efficient and makes a fabulous old fashioned. She gives great recommendations and I was very happy to spend an hour here when my flight got delayed. This is a nice, clean space and is a great addition to the CAK landscape. Usually I am in and out, without much time to spend at the airport. I felt very happy to be able to finally try it out the other night. The cheese curds were good. I really wanted the guacamole, but I had been told it was late in the day, which meant it wasn't as fresh as one might hope. I appreciated the honesty and the cheese curds proved to be a great alternative. The pricing here is not unreasonable for an airport outpost and I can't wait to come back again.

Eggs and bacon with potatoes and no brioche bun - delicious!

Love it when I have time to stop here while waiting to board a flight. Breakfast today was awesome and the Bloody Mary was perfectly spiced. Service is fast and friendly and the view of the runways is very cool.

It's a little bit of tight quarters. Everyone found a seat just fine, but you may end up in a bar-height chair along the window versus a comfy chair along the wall. Here are my impressions: The Space (Zero Stars): Super cramped and crowded. Due to its size, it is not a relaxing experience. Whomever designed it must have been trying to renovate a closet. The door was jam packed with people entering and leaving through the narrow doorway. The bulk of the space is a cramped and narrow. At least it prepares you for the middle seat on the plane! Further, the restroom was out of order. For the $50 they charge, restrooms must never, ever be out of order. We had to walk 5 minutes down the concourse for the nearest restroom. The Food (Negative Stars): The food was a joke. For breakfast they had bagels, bread, oatmeal, and some premade omelet cut in triangles. No breakfast meats, no potatoes, nor waffle or pancake maker. The breakfast is far below the free one at your hotel. Lunch was equally bad. Soup and Salad. Woot. Cookies were processed garbage food that you can get at Walmart. They also had flavorless mini muffins. Booze (Three Stars): Booze is the only reason to go to The Club CLE. Drink your $50 worth and you get some value. Employees and Service (Five Stars): The staff was great. Too bad they have to work in such a terrible airport lounge. Conclusion: Skip The Club CLE unless you are a drinker. Airport bars have more space, and restaurants have actual food.

After you pass through TSA, take the elevator up one floor and the entrance is literally right next to the elevator. There is a good amount of seating including tables with chairs and more importantly very comfy wide chairs, each of which has side table space and plenty of electrical outlets. There is a long table with chairs that spans the whole length of the outside looking window where you can watch planes coming and going to their gates. The left side of this long table also has partitioned spots for working with a computer with a little privacy and there is also a multi-function printer available. It was very quiet and it would have been easy to fall asleep. The restroom was spacious, clean, and very nice looking. There is a full bar and drinks are free, but obviously leave a nice tip for your bartender. I had a spicy Bloody Mary to start the morning ahead of a long day of multiple flights. There is a menu which you can order food from, but there is a very nice complementary spread of both food and drink. There is a soda machine, water with lemon slices, and various teas and coffee. I arrived as they were switching from breakfast to lunch. There was assorted fruit, a salad bar, charcuterie, chipped beef, pasta, a few soups, and a bunch of snacks and desserts. This was definitely a much nicer spot to hang out for four hours than sitting in the terminal.

Several weeks ago, we (3 couples) stopped in for drinks after dinner around 9PM. It was fairly crowded, and we had to stand for a bit until some seating opened up. Service was slow, but it is craft drinks, so a bit understandable. However, after about 10 minutes of sitting, my wife bussed our table (multiple glasses, receipts, trash). The bartender was snippy and rude. We ordered another round, then left. Saturday night we returned for drinks after dinner again (8:00PM), this time with 3 other couples (8 people). We arrived first, and while there weren't any seats, it didn't seem as crowded as the last time. However, I over heard one bartender say to the other bartender "I'm not putting up with this shit again", and then proceeded to lock the main door. As our full party had not arrived, we had no choice but to leave. I'm not certian, but I suspect locking the door may be against fire code. After dealing with rude bartenders, and being locked in because the bartenders don't want to deal with a crowd, we certianly won't be going back.

Great drinks and friendly bartenders. Small place with comfortable speakeasy vibe. No food.read more
