My first time eating here. I had a cheeseburger that was by far one of the best cooked burgers. Bun fresh and soft. I asked for sweet potatoe fries, they were the waffle type fresh cut and made. They were absolutely Incredible. Candy had the meatloaf special with mashed potatoes with Corn and gravy and a side of coleslaw. It came with 2 fresh dinner rolls. She said everything was great. I ordered liver and onions to take home for hubby he said it was great. What I noticed people having amazing salads, pancakes the size of a giant Frisbee, soups and onion rings that looked insane. They serve fair type fries, paper thin strips perfectly seasoned and cooked. Pies with or without ice-cream and breakfast items to fill any tummy and all priced right. The highlight was our waitress absolutely helpful kind and friendly. This place is a diamond in the rough. The 3 steps into the place are alittle higher than normal but other than that pure perfection. Bathroom spotless clean. Going here is like stepping back in time. I will be back. The pancakes are insane. Plain, blueberry or chocolate chip. Get the 2 stack take one home. This is real food, served in a back in time atmosphere with very very reasonable prices. I absolutely loved eating here. The menu has more than enough choices .... Can't wait to go back. read more

This restaurant was excellent in food service and ambience. I was very impressed with everything. It was worth the 35 minute drive Your restaurant has been open since 1985. I am happy that your are open many days to 8:00pm. We are coming back to try different dishes Thanks read more

Service was good, coffee was good the meat loaf not good. Probably one of the worst meat loaf's I ever had. Potatoes must be instant too.

Nice diner feel and good service. My breakfast sandwich was good, however, the grits were certainly not what I expected for a breakfast restaurant. They were instant for one, and watery, the kicker was the maple syrup I requested to add to them!! It was so watered down and had absolutely had no taste! Really, maple syrup that tastes like water? I couldn't imagine how awful that would taste on pancakes!! read more

No all you can eat fish and shrimp as advertised on yelp. Food was good, but small portions for the same price as the AYCE from the past.

Hi Hubby and I been to this place three times. The first two times the lake Erie perch was real good. Love your home made fries. The Third time. The server forgot to turn are order in. Not good. When we got are order the fish was over done and real greasy. We willn't be coming back. D read more

While visiting family, they met us here for brunch. Nice little establishment kinda in the middle of nowhere. However, it was worth the drive. They were very busy and we had a party of 7 that they easily accommodated. As busy as they were, the place was surprisingly clean and comfortable. The food was very good (I had the country fried steak and eggs) and portions sizable with me sharing a pancake with 3 others in the party! You will leave here happy, satisfied, and with a full belly! read more

Thanks for getting our large party of almost 20 people in and giving us such good food and great service. We had two servers Lynette was one of them. I'm sorry I didn't catch the other servers name, but we were very happy with everything. I would say with a large party of 20. I do understand that the food comes out a little wonky. Some people may get their food before others so expect that in a large party but I work in the restaurant business so I understand that some people may not. We had a great experience. read more

well it's a cozy place literally in a circle thee food is very filling and priced well. Service is good and friendly staff. Sometimes it's a bit busy but being a good place to eat does help for sure. They also have some specials so it's good to ask & the desserts are very good as well read more

For what it is, they do a great job. This restaurant has a diner feel to it. In fact, there's a large counter that you can sit at and eat if you wish, but there are plenty of other tables and seats available. The menu is large, and is printed on both sides of your place mat! The food is good, and they don't skimp on portion size, either. I've made several stops here over the years. I can attest that their breakfasts are really good. On this lunch time visit, I got their Open Face Roast Beef Sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was delicious, and as I've said, the portion size was ample. read more

We met family who were visiting from out of state for dinner last night. There was 7 of us. Our waitress was great but all of us were very disappointed with our food. 2 got meatloaf (extremely dry) 2 got cod over cooked. 1 got the whaler dinner over cooked. Turkey dinner mash potatoes cold Scrambled eggs dry. We have had breakfast there a few times and has been awesome. They were not that busy as it was early 4:30-5:00. We will be back but not so sure for dinner read more

We had everything omelette!!! To much creamy cheese on top, & fillings were bland!! Side of sausage gravy was good!! These same items were better before!!! Our service was excellent!!! Circle Restaurant - Circle Restaurant Full Menu!!! - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Deerfield, Ohio

Excellent service entire staff was friendly and prices are pretty good especially for the portion you get now for the bad food was bland meatballs were like little rubber balls and restroom needs a update Really bad news handicap entrance had stairs as well use to be a 5 star rating but definitely went downhill read more

My dirty little secret is chicken fried steak. Either cube steak or Salisbury, breaded and deep fried. Covered in chicken gravy. Mashed and green beans on the side. Covered in mashed and butter. And NO SALAD! Salad dressing is a calorie bomb, and iceberg lettuce has zero nutritional value. So do your body a favor, and avoid salads. Stick to deep fried meats and gravy. You can thank me later... Anyways... The Circle restaurant in Deerfield really do be good! I recommend it to anyone who wants well made generic food, which may sound like some kind of millennial /gen-z ironic slam, but it ain't. Just good food! read more

I can't rate it a 5 because it is well known by the locals and packed on the weekends. That statement illustrates both the positive and the negative. No complaints on the food and service for sure. Typical breakfast choices. Their pancakes are huge! The acoustics in the place make it difficult to have a conversation when all the tables are full. Expect that for sure on the weekends. You have to relax and realize service will be a bit slow. Not inattentive for sure. They have plenty of servers. It's due to to the volume of customers they handle. In reality they are very efficient and get the orders right. read more

Place used to be great, but past few years have been bad, for me at least. Used to have all you can eat fish or shrimp and fries. Fish and shrimp used to be good, now tastes like something from Walmart and shrimp is now dry pea size popcorn shrimp not the juicy jumbo shrimp. As for service one word awful. Only time you'll see a waitress is to take order, bring food and drink at same time then the bill. Never offer refills, ask if everything is good or if anything needed. read more

This is a very limited review in that in all my visits I have had the same thing, but Circle Restaurant does that same thing really well. Located on the traffic circle on Rt. 14 in Deerfield this is a great place to stop for breakfast. I love riding my motorcycle out here early in the day. Circle is a typical family style restaurant, clean nothing fancy, but great food. You can get a table if one is available or grab a seat at the counter. The menu is typical with American standards. I end up ordering the pancake and eggs: yes that is a single pancake and 2 eggs. The eggs over medium are nicely cooked with the yolk still slightly liquid. The pancake is the clear star of the show since a single one hangs over the edges of the plate; this is about the size of a large or extra large pizza. The outer edge is slightly crispy the middle spongy and delicious. Unless you have a huge appetite or have brought a friend do not get the full order of 2. Although I have not tried them yet, the dessert case has a bunch of great looking pies which look excellent. If you are out at West Branch or Berlin Reservoir, it is well worth your time to check out Circle Restaurant. Nothing fancy but a place you can get the biggest pancake you will ever experience. read more

Circle Restaurant - Giant pancake is the specialty of the house - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Deerfield, Ohio

Quality of breakfast food is low end. If an establishment can't make eggs and a decent pancake, and the staff can't recognize low quality and why customers leave most of the meal uneaten, they are likely losing business. I hope they take the opportunity to address the issues and improve. read more

My parents and I went here a few months ago after seeing a facebook post about it. The food is great! The service is great also! We try to go when they first open so we get greeted as soon as we walk in. The first time we went I tried the Chuck It, Which is tater tots topped with corned beef hash, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, and cheese. I believe it comes with toast also. It tasted great. It could have used more cheese, but that's just my preference. The next time we went I tried their pancakes with chocolate chips added. It was as big as the plate! It also tasted great. I would have liked more chocolate chips, but again that's my preference. The only downside is that it's seat yourself, so if it's busy good luck. I also don't like how their entire menu is on their place mat and it's in such tiny print. This is a great place and we will be going back again. read more

This is a near perfect choice for a group meal. Breakfast all day long. Generous portions. Friendly staff...every one I interacted with. Senior pricing and portions when you aren't a big eater, large standard size portions. Pricing is really fair. I was here with some friends on our bikes that have been here many times. I'm looking forward to taking my wife back here. read more

We have known this place was here for many years, but had never tried it. Today, we decided to give it a try for breakfast, and we were not disappointed. The portions are good sized, (for some things quite large), and the quality is excellent. We got there 10 minutes early intending to wait ti opening time, but the waitress saw us and opened early. We love the older style decor, and as I indicated, the food is great. The staff very friendly. We have now added ths to our list of favorite places, and I can't wait till we get to try the lunch or dinner menu. read more

I love this place. My dad started bringing me here on weekend fishing trips and I have always stopped in when I'm in the area. (I live an hr away) The breakfast here is amazing and the prices are fantastic!! If you are a Pancake Lover, I dare you to order a stack of 3. They are big, thick and delicious!! The Friday All you can eat fish is another great deal and is delicious!! I am.so glad this place was rebuilt after the fire and I truly appreciate good service and food!! read more

Friendly Staff and wonderful food. We camped at the nearby Mill Creak Camping Area and were looking for a place to warm up (yeah get that a place to warm up in June...). This facility has a nice small time vibe. We started with a warm Cinnamon Roll. It's worth every penny. Food was clearly hand made (not out of a box). Jen had their Biscuits and two eggs while I had a Sausage and Egg Bagel Sandwich. Definitely will be back because we are staying here tonight. read more

We pass this restaurant each time we head to Pittsburgh but have usually already broken down and gotten breakfast before we roll through. We finally decided to hold out and try this place. I was in the mood for pancakes even though I'm not a huge fan. The menu had a good selection. These pancakes are HUGE. Next time we decided one of us will order eggs with ham to split and the other eggs with a pancake to split. It was way too much for one person but so good! I look forward to heading back through in a few weeks. read more

Ordered fish and fries. According to menu we expected Perch, what we got was un-edible chunks of fish that was definitely not perch. also the tartar sauce turned out to be cottage cheese and the fries were definitely old. Needless to say we will never return read more

What is not to live about this place? Nice people good food. Bet you cannot finish the one pancake order!

G-R-E-A-S-Y S-P-O-O-N This is said with the utmost of affection. I've had breakfast here a couple of times as I head west on US 224 on various local escape trips. The food here is very good for a greasy spoon. It's been around a long time, you can plan on hearing the local C&W station and some local gossip. Plenty of working class folks keep this place in business. Like my man Scott S. says, you gotta support the Mom & Pop places. On the latest trip, the ham and eggs didn't disappoint. But I wish I'd gotten the potato pancakes. Holy cow, the wife garfed those babies down before I could get more than a bite. They had a hint of onion and were done just right. And it's cheap too, $17 including a nice tip. Consider this place if you're making your way round the circle in Deerfield on your way to parts unknown. read more

Very "put out" server. Sausage gravy tasted like a cup of flour. Ordered extra crisp home fries that were pale white undercooked. Each request was met with disdain from server. Very sad because it seems like a family owned business who I like to support. Won't be back. read more

I have stopped off and on at the Circle Diner for many years. Several years ago, I moved back to the area and now I stop in for a meal several times a month. I do not recall ever having a complaint about either the food, the deserts or the service. Today, I ordered the Philly Steak Salad which is not only excellent but more than than most folks could eat in one meal. If you like steak and fries on a super salad, then order up this item for your daily greens. I have attached a photo. There are many good menu items that exceed "diner food." Beside good food, I have always been happy with the friendly service. Also, where have you eaten before that has a boot washing station near the entrance door? read more

I have only been once, but will be back. The staff is great and the food is really good. Portions are BIG. They have a pancake the size of a hubcap. I am on a Keto diet at the moment and there were plenty of selections to keep me on the straight and narrow. However, when it is time to fall off the bandwagon for a day, there is a pancake with my name on it. The atmosphere is that of a local diner, lots of local conversations going on. It was a really 'homey' feeling and the folks accepted you right away. Other folks tend to ignore the interlopers, but not this place. The place is located on the roundabout in Deerfield. There are a couple of great shops (Army Surplus and Antique) if you are looking for a road trip to try out a great breakfast sopt. read more

The breakfast place where our group of fifteen normally meets, was closed. Circle Restaurant said they could accommodate us! Within twenty minutes, tables were set. Chetara took all the orders, and correctly delivered the plates in a timely and orderly fashion with a smile. Coffee cups didn't run dry. Plus, she had no problem making separates checks! Generous portions of good food filled our tummies. If you have a large group, be sure and ask for Chetara! read more

Had a great breakfast. Big portions. The sausage gravy was excellent, service was excellent too.

We drove from Akron. Worth the drive and the wait. Line was out the door and food takes a good while. But everything was hot and fresh. My favorite was the french toast :) Also check out the Circle Antique and flea market across the street if interested. Good flea! read more

We've driven past this place once in awhile over the years and we finally stopped to check it out On a Saturday at about 11am. Seemed to have ample parking. It was packed inside. We sat right away by taking the 2 bar stools that just opened up. It's a diner, and as far as diners go, it's a 5 star. It's got that good old home town feel. The staff was friendly enough. They were all fast and hustling. Something you don't see so much even 2 years after covid. Coffee was good. The local businesses all advertise on the placemats & mugs. We got the Italian sausage with onions/peppers and we had them add mozzarella cheese on top. Mmm it was good! A nice tasting Italian sausage!! I liked that it was a flat rectangle piece, it reminded me of this good Italian sausage we used to get on pizzas 30 years ago where I lived. We also got a side of bacon. Very tasty good, cooked just right. Also got the Mexican omelet with a added side of sour cream, also very tasty good. We're kinda sad we didn't try this place sooner! Will definitely stop by again the next time we're out this way. read more

Talk about down home cookin' it was really good. Very well priced and fantastic service (and they were very busy at the time)!!!! We cannot wait to go back again. It is really nice to have a place where 2 people can have "the meal they want" and it could be down home and uniquely like Mom is in the kitchen (and my mom and dad were awesome cooks)! I love when you eat out and it tastes just like your husband cooked for you for mine is the BEST CHEF EVER and that is a fact. The servings are great to by the way. I could not finish my fish and I was starving when we got there :) Go if you can and you will not be sorry for sure! read more

Meandering the countryside and came upon a local joint for a late breakfast on a Sunday. Busy pretty tightly packed dining room. Lots of window seats in booths. Coffee, a notch above dive cafe coffee, was hot as hell in a throwback cup that burns your lips because it seems to conduct the heat. Ham and cheese omelette: outside of omelette was greasy probably from what else is cooked on griddle. Eggs had kind of a tough snap to them. Not a fluffy omelette but the kind where egg spreads out too much on open griddle. Tons of lunch meat ham diced and American cheese. Maybe a bit too much ham. Sliced potatoes crisped as ordered but a little unevenly. I would go back with kids so they could try the hubcap pancake I saw people eating. Maybe will try scrambled eggs nxt time and ask them to mind the grease. Toast was barely buttered. Servers were awesome in terms of keeping up with customers. Mine with tats was almost jogging she looked to be moving so fast. read more
