The service was outstanding! The food was so very good! The place is a diner so we went in with the expectation of diner service. We sat at the counter because the place was extremely busy. Even though it was non-stop customers, our waitress was on her game. We didn't have to ask for anything twice and always had full drinks. The food was good. We ordered brunch. The portions were large. The Jo Jo fries were oh so good!!! I recommend this place if you are around or want a nifty diner to check out. It is small and sometimes there was a line to be seated but it moved fairly quick. read more

4 stars for the Pies! They have a great selection and they are fresh and yummy. Food service was friendly and quick. Typical all American meals on the menu. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would I got there pancakes and I took a bite and there was something hard in it I pulled it out of my mouth and it was a finger nail and it was not a clipped nail would not have made it better but you can tell it was one that was bit off so now it was in someone's mouth on top of it Smdh don't eat there that place is nasty what is wrong with people read more

We have eaten here three times. Some years ago it rated 5 stars. This third time I am able to rate 4 stars. I am surprised that reviewers are saying they had food that are not made there. Perhaps I've ordered the right items and it has always been a family restaurant. The lot is always full and the staff is friendly. They make you feel welcome and that they are happy you came. You certainly get a lot for your money. Portions are generous and I will visit whenever we are in the area. read more

Looked forward to eating lunch here. Always enjoyed breakfast here in the past. I was very disappointed in both the waitress and my meal. The man I was eating with is particularly onhow he wants his food prepared. He got an egg beaters omelette with mushrooms, well done onions and fresh tomatoes. He asked if this would be a problem snd was assured this would not be. Small potion, which was truly surprising. Onions were raw, and came with raw green peppers, which he did not want. He left 90% of it on the plate. Waitress never asked if there was a problem when she took his plate away! Was making faces when I was inquiring about a Phily Steak salad. Didn't know what, if any vegetables came on it. I finally told her no vegetables. No refills on my glass of water. With the major price increases and the poor service, I will not be going back! read more

Last night we visited the restaurant for dinner - first time since the fire. We've always had a good experience here prior but in the past have always come for breakfast or lunch. Last night was not a good experience. There were SO many flies flying around. I had a hard time enjoying my meal wondering if there were that many flies in the kitchen also. I don't know if there was a door open to the kitchen or what but it wasn't just a couple flies - there were lots. No - we did not mention it to our server - we should have. Food was ok - my husband ordered a burger and by the time we got it the bun was pretty soggy. He just ate the meat without the bun. I had a Reuben and it was good but greasy. If we go back it will only be for breakfast and we will definitely talk to them about the flies (if there are any) read more

After antiquing across the street we decided to stop for an early dinner. The server acted like we were bothering her and she was in a hurry. I ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich and received the pork loin dinner. Okay not to make a fuss I ate it and the pork loin was very good. And I took a good portion home. My husband and son bother ordered the angus burger which was a processed burger patty. What put me off the most was everything was extra on their burgers with the cost coming out to be over 13.00, for a processed burger. Nah, wasn't worth that. We have heard they serve a good breakfast so we may try them again just for breakfast next time. read more

Disappointing to see that wait staff is wearing their masks hanging from their neck NOT ON!

Low quality, carelessly prepared excuse for food. Just skip this place. Your stomach will thank you.

The people are so nice at this restaurant. The big pancake is a hit!!!!! I would always come here

Great service, good portions, okay food. Eggs were a little undercooked, and home fries are more like scalloped potatoes. Other than that it was great, and pretty fast. read more

Have been here a few times, just re-opened after fire, today it was perfect. Eggs done just right, and order right on. My our.cup was always full. Very busy, but quick service. Will return. read more

One of the worst restaurants we ever walked in to, Friday night stood there for at least 10 min.& then had the bus boy seat us ,we had to grab are on menus , sat for another 15 mins. still no service , 3 other tables had the same problem , we watched how the restaurant cleared out and at least 8 more tables where cleared and watched all the waitresses just stood there behind the counter doing nothing , after 25 mins of waiting to see 2 people get seated then got there drinks within 2 mins. all 3 of us got up and walked out , never will go there again and tell every body we know about this place ,they should of stayed closed after being burnt . never had an issue before. 03/01/2019 read more

The food is great I like that the music is at a good levle is low and the waitress is nice.

Food is great. Service was slower today than last time we were here, despite not being as busy. Server REALLY needs to practice pouring coffee; she refilled husbands cup 4 times and spilled/dribbled it outside cup all 4 times.......ridiculous read more

Great food and huge portions! Wait staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean, they have music playing at a pleasant level. I would recommend and would come back! read more

Good food and giant portions. A great little local restaurant with friendly staff and a cozy feel. You will never leave hungry here.

We both got the poached cod dinner. She got mashed potatoes corn and cottage cheese as her sides. I got green beans, baked potato and coleslaw. Two of my three pieces of cod had the bloodline in them which rendered the center third of each consumption resistant and off-tasting. The iced tea was brewed but weak, and when we were asked if lemon was desired our affirmative answer yielded single serve packets of reconstituted juice. The green beans were canned, and despite the generous amounts of bacon lacked any flavor except for that metallic taste that occurs when canned goods are stored in the can in the fridge. The slaw was fine, but over-dressed, creamy style, a packet of lemon juice and copious amounts of pepper added a bit of zip. The potato was served with two margarine packets and a sour cream packet, or possibly a sour cream substitute, I failed to read the fine print. The lady said the mashed potatoes were instant, (and she usually has a difficult time telling the difference.) She conjectured that the corn was frozen, thankfully. My baked potato was 80% cooked. I'm of the opinion that one is likely better off here with fried and flattop fare here rather than things prepared with a more sophisticated method e.g any other food preparation technique, or when one is in the mood for packets of almost any kind of food accompaniment. All in all, not on my list of places to which I must return., but we left full and that was the objective. read more

Went there with my wife today, 7-7-18. We "waited to be seated". Sat for more than 7 minutes while most (if not all) of the waitresses and the cashiers looked at us and didn't even tell us it may be a minute....or so ! Tables were available. There was a lady having breakfast who mentioned to one of the waitresses that we were waiting for a table. She did nothing Very dissapointed! Never again! read more

Good food, great waitress, I'll return soon. Fast service, I was happy. Got refills right away, plenty of food.

Traveled from Florida and wanted to visit our old stomping ground. Place was very busy when we arrived and plenty of coffee refills. Ordered a simple breakfast and waited 1.5 hours. Management was less than polite. read more

We are so disappointed. We used to love bringing our family here and now it's just overpriced and low quality. A cheeseburger is $8.80 and comes with NOTHING else (fries are $2.75 extra). Kid waters are $.50 (7 years with kids I've NEVER seen this). The "marinated" Chicken club sandwich was dry and had no "club" (missing cheese and bacon- but the waitress did bring bacon and "didn't charge me for it?") and also did not come with any sides. Maybe someday they'll go back to being an affordable hometown diner with good food, if not I imagine they'll be out of business before long. read more

Food here is always great and the portions are huge. They have a pancake that is as big as a turkey platter and a fish sandwich called the whaler. They have the best chicken anywhere. read more

I have gone to this place several times and I keep coming back. The service is good and I have never waited for a table. The time it takes to get your food is almost non-existant (very quick). NOW...the food. No matter what you get (breakfast, lunch, dinner served all day) you will not be disappointed. Portions are better than average and the quality is very good. he menu is vast and offers many homestyle options (ie. pie, baked goods and fried chicken). Prices are good and coffee is too! read more

A good place for simple food. Breakfast is excellent, sandwiches are standard. I recommend the pancakes! They usually have pie too. Service has always been positive. read more

I've been stopping by here for years and have never been disappointed. It's a perfect location to meet up with family. Service is friendly and you can seat yourself. My favorite table is one of the two round ones in the back. Parking is plentiful and let not forget the food. It's big portions, low prices and tasty! read more

The Circle Restaurant is the only place to eat nearby or I probably wouldn't ever go there. The service is slow even when they aren't busy. You see hostesses and waitresses standing around on their cell phones instead of waiting on tables. The food is mediocre at best. I wish there were more restaurant options in Deerfield! read more

Amazing food. Always fresh and delicious! Great service and you can go wrong with anything you pick off the menu. The Blt is amazing, sausage gravy biscuits, pancakes and French toast are to die for! read more

Very good food and was as clean as can be. Had the Chuck It and the Capn. Crunch French Toast. We like the town diners vs chain restaurants. Other food at the table was enjoyed also. Only reason for not 5 stars was our server, although very attentive and efficient she could have been a bit friendlier. But she was ok. read more

This is my favorite breakfast spot! We drive over 45 minutes to this restaurant, each time I'm home from college. The pancakes are massive, thick, and delicious. My favorite pancakes in the world!! The flavor is so good you don't need any syrup. The country gravy is also amazing, with large chunks of sausage in every bite. You really cannot go wrong with anything you pick on the menu. The staff is all exceptionally friendly & happy to help. Never a bad experience, ever! Take your family to this cute little hometown spot & you won't regret it! read more

First time I was ever there so I will be kind and maybe return. But... I ordered a meatloaf sandwich which wasn't made there. The meatloaf was factory made. The gravy was poured over the meatloaf and on my French fries. It also was canned. And I looked on the menu to see where I would get gravy automatically poured on the fries. I can't find it. The fries were good but I asked the server if the HOME fries were made there- meaning that they cooked the potatoes and cut them and grilled them. She told me that they were cooked 'somewhere'! No thanks. I like to go to "mom and pop" restaurants to support them. I am a mom and pop restaurant. But to heat an serve meatloaf, gravy and homefries is just unheard of in the mom and pop manual. Please learn to bake meatloaf and make gravy from scratch. This reataurant looks like it is busy with locals and the server was good. Yes i will give it another chance.. any place can have a bad day. read more

Very good food (fish was especially good) with very generous portions of everything. Excellent french silk pie. Good, down home service. We will definitely eat there again if we are in the area. read more

First I want to say that I have been dining at this restaurant for nearly 15 years. I have only ever gone for their famous breakfast. I want to mention that the breakfast at the Circle is definitely worth the drive and the money. Humongous portions just like your momma would make. However last night I recommended to friends of ours that we go there for dinner to try their all you can eat fish on Friday nights. Believing that since their breakfast is to die for, so would their dinners. Boy was I wrong, and utterly embarrassed in front of my friends. Who by the way have never been there at all. We got there at 7pm and did not start eating till shortly after 8pm. I have never waited an hour for anything at this restaurant, so needless to say I was already disappointed. Strike 1!!! They brought out my daughters 1 pancake and 1 sausage link 10 minutes before the rest of our dinners. They told us that our dinners were given to another table, and that is the reason for the delay. Strike 2!!! By the way, I had to get up and get butter and syrup for my daughters pancake because our server must've thought that we should be grateful we got the pancake to begin with. Sarcasm.... When our fish dinners finally arrived, you could tell they had been setting under the heat lamp. The fish was luke warm at best, and soggy on the bottom. Definitely not right out of the fryer if you know what I mean? Strike 3!!!!!! No one at our table finished their meals. Could you blame them? The food was not what I was anticipating at all. One other customer saw all this take place, and commented that "this is not like the breakfast experience you get here". I agree!!!!! We even saw the manager yell across the dining room at one of the servers. She was simply taking care of one of her customers that was having a similar experience like us. All in all, I would recommend breakfast from this place to anyone. However I would never tell anyone to go there for anything other than breakfast. The dinner food and service was less than enjoyable!!!!! read more
