When I'm wanting someplace that won't disappoint, I always head to First Watch. I used to frequent their location in Phoenix Arizona so I was in complete joy to see them open up here locally! Sweet or savory I've never been upset, and the kids meals are a great size and come out at a kids temperature, without me having to ask that they drop the kids order first. The staff has always been bright faces and smiles and prompt without being overbearing. I'm 6 months pregnant with industry experience, so my other half would certainly describe me as particular. I love a creative menu that isn't scared to play with flavor profiles, and the best part about being a regular patron in this establishment across states is that I know the special menu changes with seasons. If you want bland and boring and "just give me my regular" you will probably be happier at a Denny's or IHOP. But if you want a healthy alternative with reasonable portions, First Watch has everything you need all with a lively dining room. Aside from the staff I have met some beautiful patrons throughout the week as well. In fact that is noteworthy as well, be it M-F or a weekend the dining room stays occupied. If I ever come in when it is slower, by the time I leave there are people waiting in the lobby and that kind of table turning requires significant grace in part of the serving staff. I feel poorly about the patron who had a dirty glass and syrup on their coffee carafe, that is not typical in the number of times I have been in. So I certainly wouldn't let it hold you back. Also, not pictured is the seasonal Green Chili Chicken bowl, it was delicious and my boys always love their pancakes, also, we have a two and four year old, the boys could easily split a singular order. And for a moment if I could praise the table top hot sauce choice because for ONCE it is not tobacco and let me just tell you Cholula has the right amount of garlic to give you the hot sauce you deserve, in case you aren't aware. This place was a major disappointment. Everything I got had zero seasoning. The cheese grits were dry and bland. This was the worst eggs Benedict that I've ever had. I don't know how you mess up fried potatoes, but they found a way. The potatoes were soggy and barely cooked and of course BLAND. The million dollars breakfast sandwich was ok. Love this place for breakfast! It's my kind of place - modern but with an old-fashioned diner ambiance (mainly from the noise in the restaurant - it's pretty loud). The food is excellent but a bit pricey for Better Half's taste; however, you get way more than bacon, eggs & pancakes here. I ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs, and seriously thought I'd landed in heaven. Every bite was perfect. The coffee was good, the sweetener I like was available and although heavy cream wasn't available, the half & half was real, which I appreciate. (I don't like the flavored, fake creamers a lot of people do.) Better Half got the bacon, eggs and pancakes breakfast and said it was "fine." (I think it was a shame we went to a fairly new restaurant with a reputation for interesting menu items, and he ordered what he'd get from Perkins. But we all like what we like...) Service was very good, prices were higher than we'd normally pay for breakfast (but again - it's sooooo much better than your regular chain diner!), and it's very loud inside, making conversation somewhat difficult. Always hits, no matter the location. Food is good, reasonably priced and a wide variety. Drink options are nice too. Kids always try something new. Wait is never bad either. This is a brand new Restaurant to the Beldin area, that was really busy. The redesign of this building is really cute and now has quite a bit of farmhouse style decorations. There was a wait of about 30 minutes when we went at 11:00. With this being a new restaurant we had figured there would be a wait so we were prepared and ok with that. Their wait list is done online through yelp. It will give you your place in line (which I actually loved) and then they send you a text message once a table is ready so you can wait inside or outside and not constantly hear names being called out of a loud speaker. Once we were seated, we were helped pretty promptly (under 5 minutes). The time from order to table was a little long (about 30 minutes), but the food came to us hot. I got the Floridian french toast and my son got the veggie burger. We both enjoyed our meals. They syrup they serve cones in glass bottles and is warm. My son did sub the salad that comes with the veggie burger for potatoes and they were pretty good. All in all, the food is pretty good and the atmosphere is good. We would return. read more

I had the best meal with my husband on 8/19/2022. Our server,Kandice( store ( 40067) , Dressler Rd NW Canton Ohio was AMAZING,! They should give her 5* for being the best waitress in the place!! She gave great recommendations she was witty and sweet and I would recommend her again and go back and ask for her. I had a really good drink called Pomegranate surprise that was excellent and I would highly recommend, would definitely get it again! My husband had the elevated egg sandwich with avocado that he said was really tasty. I had the tomato basil soup which was very good. But my breakfast was amazing and it was the Barbacoa quesadilla Benedict. It Was 2 Barbacoa quesadillas topped with poached Cage-free eggs, Served with Veracruz hollandaise sauce topped with Homemade pico de gallo sauce It was SO AMAZING, honestly I would go back just for that!!! And I love FIRST WATCH!! But this item... Barbacoa quesadilla Benedict was absolutely AMAZING!!! Have an awesome Saturday morning experience at First Watch! We showed up around 10:45 on a busy Saturday. Joined the waitlist and was estimated 45 minute wait for 2 people. About 4 minutes later we were taken to the perfect table for two! Took a minute for our server to arrive, but he showed up with water, hot coffee, and apologized for the wait. Took our order first thing and got it right to the kitchen. The hubs ordered a morning meditation juice, it was yummy *with Earthy tones*, he's a juicer though. I ordered the trifecta with scrambled eggs (with cheese), blueberry pancake, and turkey sausage. Everything was delicious, great portions, all around tasty food. My husband ordered the avo toast meal with a basted egg. I think an ENTIRE avocado was spread across two pieces of toast. He also ordered a side of their Million Dollar Bacon , which is drizzled with syrup and has some other unique flavors with it. It was delish! I tried to find anything at all that could have been better, but the food was great, it was warm, it arrived to the table super fast and their purple haze drink is to die for! The lighting was also phenomenal! The only thing I could comment on is the seating is a little strange if you're not used to eating your food so close to strangers, but there are booths and more private seats available as well! I brought a friend here who typically doesn't like healthier meal options and he could not find a single complaint either! Restrooms are clean as well. Underwhelming. The menu here is interesting for sure and I don't find many other places locally where you can get more than standard fare. The service was very disappointing however. Our waitress repeatedly avoided eye contact and when we eventually got her over to the table, she acknowledged our food still wasn't coming out but made an excuse about them being busy. It is true that they were busy but all of the tables around us arrived after and had got their food so she knew and we knew that they had messed our order up. It would've just made things easier had it been acknowledged and had we had any service attention. We didn't even get offered glasses of water until we asked for it about 40 minutes after we arrived. Yesterday she placed an online order for oickup at 11:30 am. She finally received her order A one breakfast entree - at 1:30 pm. That poor girl sat there for 2 hours. No explanation, no offering for the inconvenience (except the offer of a beverage while she was waiting?), nothing! She ended up being late for work as a result of this idiocy. Omg, the veggie omelette was sooo good! It had spinach, mushroom, sundried tomatoes, feta, and fresh zucchini - so much flavor!! The toast was really good too (don't think I've ever said that in a food review). I ordered the maple bacon appetizer which was a much better and tastier bacon than the standard one that my husband ordered. The biggest disappointment was the lack of clean silverware and dishes. The waiter was very apologetic and brought new glasses and silverware but the new silverware wasn't clean as well.
