Used the App to join the waitlist. Very much worth it as there was waiting but we were first in line. Seated in a corner that was a tight fit. Waiter there immediately to take order but we hadn't looked at the menu. Only organic tea and water was lukewarm so couldn't steep well. Ordered special, cinnamon chip pancake. Very dry, not fluffy. And warm not hot, butter not melting. Waiter never returned to see how our food was. I have been to other First Watch where service and food excellent. With the cost of breakfast for 2 over $40 we would expect real hollandaise . Fresh beacon , not microwave, potatoes crispy, and Parmesan ciabatta bread to at least have Parmesan on it . Last Sunday we decided to try First Watch. The menu had a good selection of breakfast items. I really enjoyed their bread. My husband ordered the Eggs Benedict. He enjoyed it but would have liked the Canadian bacon instead of the shaved ham. The dining area was nice and clean, a nice atmosphere. We had a great server, Sierra. Waited over 45 minutes for our food and didn't see our waiter until about 40 minutes into the wait. When the food arrived my daughter's waffle was dryer than styrofoam. They did replace it for us in less than 10 minutes. This was a very disappointing experience considering other First Watch locations I've visited have been wonderful. We were told the 'kitchen was struggling' but based on other reviews here they must struggle on a daily basis. Probably won't be back to this location. The First Watch Corp would be wise to do something about this location before their reputation as a company is tarnished. Absolutely the best brunch place in town! From the moment you enter the door to the moment you leave you are taken care of by the friendly, attentive staff! Decided to try this new restaurant in town the other day. Interior decor and menu were very intriguing. I went early so it wasn't overly crowded. However the service was really subpar. I was seated first And waited on my guest. When my guest showed up 10 minutes later I was still waiting on my drink. Then, nobody came back to take our order but we sat there and watch the servers eat breakfast at a table. It took them 15 minutes just to get our order and an hour and 45 for us to meet have breakfast and leave. Really need better training and management. read more

Well at 11:40 a she still didn't let me know so i went back inside to ask for a manager. Which the refused to deliver because they were busy. Thats not my problem. I don't wanna pay $12 for a cold ass omelet. My food was sitting at the counter for who know how long. I am calling later (and thats out of the kindness of my heart) to complain about the horrible ass service and my cold ass eggs. I want my money back and your staff to be trained. read more

Person busing tables picks up unused wrapped in a napkin silverware only to return it to a station to be reused. Wait aren't they soiled. Minimally your dirty hands now touching napkins I put to my mouth?!!! Then to see this same person with dirty hands putting clean cups and glasses on the same tray where the dirty dishes just were and NOT washing hands and putting mugs and glasses on tables! YUCK!!!! I get that you may have "hard water" but please the water glasses look absolutely dirty. I cannot drunk from them. Reusing the same rag to clean multiple tables without rising or spraying or sanitizing is COMPLETELY DISGUSTING !!!! is there no training. Is there no management? Where is the Health Department?! I love first watch's food. I always seek them out when I'm traveling if I can. I was excited when they decided to open on in our town. Unfortunately it hasn't lived up to the first watch name. I've tried it on multiple times at different points since they've opened. The first time it was right when they opened so I was expecting a learning curve. Service was incredibly slow (I was fine with it, they just opened). I think they comped half of our meal because it all took so long. Second time, more of the same. A few months later, I tried again pretty much the same thing. Just awful back of the house service. The food took FOREVER. They gave us our entire meal for free that time (we didn't ask or complain - they recognized how terrible the service was and offered). Fast forward past a few similar visits to today. Don't know how long they've been open - but long enough. 40 minutes to get some eggs and French toast. Father's Day morning - so it was busy. But with COVID spacing etc - I've seen it much busier. Then when the orders came out, they were just wrong. Not properly prepared per the order, I correct sides, etc. As I'm writing this - the manager came over and apologized - even though we said nothing about it to anyone. She gave us a $20 "brunch bucks" certificate for a future visit. Very nice woman. I'm sure they are trying to figure out how to operate under COVID restrictions. This was our first visit to the new restaurant in the Belden Village area. We have been wanting to try it so we went for breakfast and were seated within a few minutes. Our server explained the menu and came back to take our order. So far, everything great. Then things imploded from there. She suggested the sausage scramble to my husband and it was supposed to have sausage in it but he could hardly find any. The dish was mostly overcooked potatoes and mushrooms and it was lukewarm when he got it. I ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict and it was very disappointing. The poached eggs were way overdone, there was hardly any hollandaise sauce (even though the server said they make their own) and the entire meal was lukewarm also. We had to wait longer than usual for our food so I'm wondering if it sat in the kitchen after it was done instead of being delivered to our table (?). We no sooner got our food when the server presented us with our check. Seriously?? Maybe we just hit it on a bad day but for us, this was a definite one time experience. read more

Although we were seated quickly, it took a bit for the server to get our orders. From that point we waited almost 50 min for our food. And the server did not check on us during this wait . Although the food was fine , it's not worth that long of a wait. I realize this is a new location and that it takes time to work the bugs out. (Pancakes and bacon shouldn't take that long!) I was here 2 months ago and it was actually busier but our food came out in a more reasonable time frame. (Needless to say the server Alyssa did not get a good tip because she didn't deserve one ... and I'm usually a good tipper if there is some effort. )If the management can figure out how to teach the servers and streamline the process this place could get 4 stars but not with it's current situation. read more

Nice, warm , cozy atmosphere. Service was non existent after the initial greeting. One server took our order, our food was delivered by another server and we never saw either one of them again except for them to rush past in another aisle. My food was tasty but cold. Toast wasn't even warm enough to melt the butter. My husbands eggs were done hard, when he had ordered them over medium. No one came back to ask how our meals were, so we just ate them. Our server finally came over to deliver the check and said " Oh I see everything was delicious" ..... uh, well, NO, but you never checked back with us! Didn't bother letting her know this cause it wouldn't have made a difference. I asked for a coffee to go....waited 10 more minutes, never got my coffee so we left. $35.00 rather steep for a mediocre breakfast / service. Not sure if we will try it again or not.
