We hosted a Couples Baby Shower at TBR last Saturday and it went off without a hitch. Big THANK YOU to Keri and her staff for being accomodating, offering suggestions and making sure everyone had a drink in hand in a timely manner. We appreciated the open communication we had with Keri throughout the planning process. Highlights: * Great selection of wine, beer, non-alcoholic beers/wines *Ample amount of usable space -- we made use of the main room, the party room (behind the barn doors) and the back room (we set the buffet table up there). * A great place to mingle and socialize. It didn't feel crowded with 75-85 guests. Some sat at the tables for the party, others stood/moved about. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience, Keri! read more

What a great place, friendly staff. Great beer selection. Fun beer tasting, cool indoor and outdoor seating

The service is amazing here. Great laid back atmosphere with perfect music. The food is amazing with pretty good portions. We had the pulled pork nachos and bang bang shrimp. This place is a true hidden gem. read more

Daughter and son in law had their small reception here. They have the most wonderful and kind bartender Katie working there. She was so helpful with everything. That being said, if it were not for her this review would not have anything good in it. The owner was very difficult and unfriendly. Not helpful at all and would not allow us to move anything. To get ahold of her was difficult and also was serving ppl at the bar once we arrived to set up. She also planned a party before ours and which had us decorating as guests were arriving.. Not good planning!! Thank you for Katie!! read more

Nice place to relax and unwind, they have a good assortment of wine and beers. They only have a few light snacks, but you can bring it outside food. Somewhat Noisy inside , but do have an outside patio. read more

This woman owned local business is a gem to the North Canton community. They currently have a limited appetizer menu but they let you bring in your own food. People have food delivered all of the time. My girlfriends and I play trivia there every Wednesday night and the staff is amazing (thank you Emily and Brady)! The ambiance is great and so is their selection, lots of locally brewed beer and a great wine list. They've also recently added some great cocktails and they have great tequila! During the summer they have an awesome patio AND two side rooms you can rent for your events year round. If you're looking for a fun night out this is your spot! read more

Had a private event on Saturday at The Barrel Room. The entire experience was hands down the best. Keri, the owner was easy to work with, open communication. Our bartender, Katie and bar back, Connor were amazing. Some of the greatest service in Stark County. I would recommend planning an event at The Barrel Room. Or just stopping in for a drink at the bar. I can't say enough, and I'm not sure any words can truly convey how great the night was. read more

Went here late as a last stop on a girls night out. Sat at the bar. Entire place was dimly lit but had a wonderfully calm aesthetic to it. Shared a bottle of their sweetest wine, would definitely recommend. I ended up also drinking one of the cans labeled strawberry margarita that I noticed in one of the coolers underneath the bar. It was good - but definitely unnecessary on my end, as it put me over my limit, with an ABV of 12% overall, fantastic place and a chill way to end a night or even spend an entire evening there read more

Great find in N Canton! Me and three pals were in town for the NFL HoF game and made several trips to The Barrel Room. Very relaxed vibe, personable, friendly service. Have to say the customers were as friendly as the staff. Nice selection of top shelf bourbon and rye. Great bar snacks too. Recommended! read more

food has been not bad the last couple times i went and i enjoyed the service the first time we went. Tonight my wife and i went to get some apps and perhaps start the bar crawl there. waited 10 min for service and asked my wife if she wanted to leave. she commented that others that came after us were being served before us. the bartender heard and said she would help us in a couple minutes. 10 minutes later, after serving others who came before us and feeling ignored we left. Ill think twice before returning. there are many other options in oakwood square. read more

I was here for a birthday party the other day. It is very close to my home, but even after living here for almost two years, this was the first time I had been. Nice venue with a good selection of draft beers. I found the service at the bar to be fast and efficient, even though it was busy. The only complaint I have is the parking.....it was a rainy day, and I had to park in the back. My shoes were all muddy and it was not a very pleasant walk through puddles to get to the door. Other than that, great spot. I would be more likely to go again off-peak- probably not on a Friday night again when parking is in the muddy back-lot. read more

My friend and I went here after she had been telling me how great it was for months. She was right! We walked in on a Saturday night and the place wasn't packed, but had a fare amount of people. There was also a guy there play acoustic guitar and he was great. We got drinks right away, a very short wait at the bar. The owner Adam even came over and said hi to us. I knew he really was the owner because I spoke with him previously on the phone about throwing a bridal shower there. They will open on a Sunday for your event and you get your own waitress and the place to yourself. You don't have to pay a fee, they just ask that you buy food and bottles there. DUH, that goes without saying. As far as food goes I believe they just have appetizers. They pour you a good size glass when you order too. Much appreciated. Also, they have beer. The crowd was fun, not stuffy at all for a wine bar. Loved it and will definitely be back! read more

I came here as part of my high school reunion recently. While the interior could be cozier for a wine bar, they have a nice wine list, very reasonable prices (compared to what I'm used to in a major metropolitan area), friendly servers, and local artists adorning the walls with their paintings (most are for sale). As the food menu is limited, they allow patrons to bring in outside food, and I saw several pizza delivery folks arrive while I was there. There was a lovely outdoor patio, as well as a private room (which we utilized) for groups and functions. They also have live music on the weekends (and perhaps also sometimes during the week), which was very pleasant in the background. I'd return. read more

Barrel is even better than before with over 100 different craft beers now, and over a dozen on draft. Still maintaining one of the better wine lists by the pour in town. I was at a packed beer tasting there for Troegs and had a blast. read more

Think bar not wine bar and you won't be disappointed. The cheese board could use some better options like Brie or blue cheese.

Love the environment, the staff and the awesome choices! Keri and her team do a fabulous job! If you haven't been, get here!

Great location for a date night, night out with friends, or for hosting an event. They have an impressive selection of wine and beer to choose from, and helpful staff for any indecisive members of your party. The only reason I did not give five stars is because there are nights where it can be difficult to find seating due to the popularity of the establishment! read more

I have been coming to this place since Adam opened it up however the wine is ok but the atmosphere is always what made us come back. Now let me get to the part that will never have us come back, Keri I guess is now part owner and has always been very rude to us and they are always out of beer, and the wine just got worse. What I am saying if I am going to spend $8 on a glass of wine that is terrible I will go to Geravisi and know I will get amazing service and fabulous wine. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

Soooo... I went here once and I was good and buzzed when I started. When I left, I was blind. Good job finishing the job guys!

If you come only drink! And if you only drink only order wine! They were out of all the beer that they had on the menu. Then we ordered appetizers and they didn't have those either. We got the cheese tray because they were out if meat and that was giant eagle bought cheese (most of the crackers were stale. Also got the buffalo cheese dip, and the chips were also stale. The only thing that was good was my wife's wine. read more

Very laid back, casual, and fun atmosphere to take in a glass of wine or three! I can't speak for the beer, since I'm not a fan, but every wine I've tried here was wonderful. The live music on Fridays and Saturdays makes it a wonderful place to spend an evening. read more

Had a bridal shower for my daughter ,This owner has to be the least friendly person there was not to mention RUDE !!! I would never ever recommend this place to anyone!!! They tell you its $300.00 and its used towards wine and or food and what is left over you get to take in wine ,But they don't tell you how many bottles you use or do they tell you if its by the glass or the cost of it bottle , She did not accommodate us at all .We had to move the tables out of rm to another. Was not told we could not use balloons at time of scheduling ,Was not told there was a booking fee on top of the $300.00 .I work with customer service and I would never treat a paying customer as rudely as that woman did . The bartender was great she needs to go work somewhere she would be appreciated . I 'am sure the help does not get treated properly ,If she treats a paying customer like she did us . read more
