There's something special about a place that can remain part of your life for that long. On this visit I went with the chili (which is a must with cheese and crackers), pickle fries and regular fries, and everything hit the spot. The chili was hearty and satisfying, the pickle fries were a great addition, and you simply can't beat the value. You can still come to Ray's, get plenty of good food, and leave feeling like you got your money's worth. Ray's has been a Kent institution for a reason. It's comfortable, familiar, affordable and filled with a lot of memories for me. After 50 years of visits, I'm still happy to walk through the door -- and I'm sure I'll be back again.

This place had tons of people here and a great warm atmosphere here as well . The restrooms here were okay. The layout of the restroom was a bit odd just because it's a long hallway with a random urinal around the corner and then the random toilet around the other corner. There were plenty of seats here too nonetheless so expect this place to be busy on weekends. They have non-alcoholic drinks too for those that have to be the designated of driver. Always recommend parking behind the building in the parking lot unless it's a really slow. Prices here weren't too bad either. Overall, I highly recommend checking this place out for a casual visit.
