Service couldn't be better and the staff is so friendly and outgoing. Wil's has just been sold to the owners of The Industry in Green on Arlington. Unlike Wil's, The Industry is a very upscale and expensive restaurant. The food is good but it remains to be seen if it is worth it. Personally, I cannot afford to make it a habit. I need to keep it for very special occasions. The fear amongst us regular Wil's crowd is that we will soon be seeing the affordable pricing and great menu being replaced by the more upscale owners. If that happens, then another affordable restaurant for seniors and the older crowd will have gone the route of so many others. Wil's has been around a lot of years and has survived the highs and lows of the restaurant world. They MUST be doing something right. My pleas to the new owners is if it's not broke don't fix it! It reminds me of one of these places you find while you are on vacation. We had lunch this Friday out back overlooking the water. The view is fantastic. It wasn't really that busy as it had just opened. Our server was friendly and quick. The burgers and fries were good, I wouldn't say excellent, whatever is right below that.
