This was the first time I had the salmon BLT and I was surprised how good it was. Congrats to the chef!

Friendly and responsive service, great atmosphere and delicious food. I had the fish and chips, I can recommend.

Food is excellent. Serves comfort foods such as steak, seafood and other delectable menu offerings. Their chicken wings WERE outstanding and my husband and I kept going back for them. Suddenly the wings were not available said it was too costly to offer them. We have not been back for a good while would like to go back as they have many delicious entrees! Highly recommend!! read more

This place is quaint and appropriately dark. I was served promptly and kindly. I ordered the fish and chips, and that's what I got. Nothing about it wowed me, but that's ok. I enjoyed my short time there. read more

The English Pub - Fish and Chips - Pubs Near Me - Ravenna, Ohio

The Meatball sub was dry. Asked for some sauce to help it out. Server took a long time and finally one of us had to go find her to remind her. There was an extra charge on the bill for the sauce. Server said she couldn't take it off because there was no manager at the time. Overall we were pretty disappointed in the whole experience. Food was just OK. Service was slow. read more

Food and service was great. The burger and fish and chips were perfect. They also have a pretty good beer selection read more

Excellent food and service. The dining room is nicely spaced not too crowded and the music is not too loud so you can have a conversation.

Not an authentic English Pub, but still a nice place to grab a drink and a bite. Good folks, good eats and nice bar. read more

English Pub is one of my favorites in Ravenna! The restaurant is much bigger inside than it appears from the outside and can easily accommodate large parties. The bar is also quite large with plenty of space to find a spot if you are going solo or just prefer to sit at the bar. The menu is English themed as expected, and very tasty! I enjoy their chicken parmesan sandwich for lunch. The servers there are very welcoming and helpful. If you are stopping in for lunch during the workweek they are efficient at getting you in and out in a timely manner. read more

The service is always good and so is the food the price is worth it I just wish they had better hours

The food is amazing. The service is top notch. The ambiance is what a pub should be. The owner is a very nice lady. Along with bartender Tammy. read more

3 stars = you may like it but the place is not for me. Service was good, bartender was friendly. I don't get much of an English pub feel and the food is okay. read more

Wow, simply wonderful! My wife ordered the mushroom & Swiss burger, I got the black & blue. Absolutely wonderful burgers, cooked to perfection. Exactly cooked as ordered, with excellent flavors. Can't say enough about the wait/bar staff and cooks. My ONLY issue.... didn't get to meet Beth!! Trust me, we'll be back! read more

The English Pub - Back bar! - Pubs Near Me - Ravenna, Ohio

The fish and chips, wings and fettuccine and meatballs were all very good. Our waitress was friendly and attentive.

I ordered chicken tenders I got them and they had no sauce on them and was never offered anything to dip these dry aged tenders. The beer was alright. This place would be perfect for Bar Rescue. read more

Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and hands down the best burger I've ever had. Ever. Highly recommend

Awesome place! Great food and good service. Chicken wings and pizza were great, and this is the best place to eat in Ravenna. Would recommend! read more

Half-assed ambience for an English pub but the food was fine. I was interested in trying a new beer so I asked the bartender if they had a tap list and she looked at me like I was crazy, said "no", and walked away. Fail. read more

Very nice place. Good food and great wings. I love their French fries. Zack is a great bartender.

I was with a party of five and we were just passing by on I-76. I found the English Pub Bistro and we decided to give it a chance.

Great local place that never lets me down. Food is great and service is fast. I hear they added on a patio recently and can't wait to experience it in the nice weather read more

I really like this place. The food is good, servers are good and they have a good variety on their menu. Prices aren't bad either.

The hamburgers at this place are amazing and Dottie was a wonderful server! I will keep coming here when I am in town.

I've been coming to this place for a while now and absolutely love it! It has TVs, a jukebox, and outdoor patio, and some of the friendliest bartenders around. Their fettuccine alfredo is amazing and I absolutely love their chicken quesadilla which I recommend getting with the breaded chicken tenders inside - just ask and they'll make it! It has a very friendly atmosphere and I'll definitely be coming for a long time. read more

My wife and I were near KSU on a Sunday, and a lot of the restaurants were closed ?? (Between semesters... maybe why) ---- so we drove out 59 to this English Pub! Glad we did, the waitress & the onion rings both phenomenal; & a Reuben big enough to share. read more

Really good food and always great service. It's also conveniently next to my house! I got a chicken wrap and fries and it was amazing.

So I am going to give a four star here, mainly for their breakfast. I did a lunch special one and has some issues. I will go for dinner at some point. So first, this is very unassuming from the outside. One you go inside it is very warm and comfortable. Great music playing, fire place stoked up, hardwoods... just what you expect. Breakfast is incredible. Our table had a smattering of a lot of things from Breakfast Pizza, country fried steak, grits, .... CFS was homemade, pizza was crazy good. Other pastries, grits, home fries, all good. For lunch, I had a grilled cheese with soup. That was on the menu and two signs. The soups were Beef and Vedg, chili, or French onion. All well identified in the 'Soup' column. So when the bill arrived I was paying almost $8.00 for the lunch special that was about $6.00. When I questioned the waitress she said the FOS is an up charge. I looked and asked where it said that anywhere. The response was, 'that is just what it always is.' So this is just bad business and not how you treat a customer. So bottom line, I do like this place and will continue to go. Trust has been shaken a little so I will be asking about their unpublished up charges now and avoiding the French Onion Soup. Which, btw, was not worth an up charge. It was good, but will go with something else next time. read more

Food was average, server was a bit forgetful, but the kicker came at the end. After finishing nearly all of her drink my wife found a SPIDER in the ice cubes! My wife is very afraid of spiders and was clearly very disturbed by the this. The server was very apologetic, but we asked to speak to the manager about getting our meal comped. Apparently there is no manager!? The server had no way to comp our meal herself so we had to sit and wait for 20 mins while she tried to get the owner on the phone. In the end after this disgusting experience the owner only authorized her to comp my wife's meal. We will never return to this disgusting, poorly run place. read more

It took me a while to get to reviewing this little plaza placed pub - but not for lack of excitement about it, that's for sure. English Pub Bistro, I thank you! You turned an extremely drained day into a delicious dining experience - kudos, mi amore! To start, the owner was behind the bar this afternoon, and she was such a delight. She had just gotten a hole in one recently, and it was a beautiful story to hear! She was so receptive to what I wanted and liked, and pointed out something I absolutely loved, all while conversing with me and making me feel very welcome and also sympathetic to my train wreck of a time down the road at the BMV. A story for another review, I suppose. But yes - as I drove away from my insanity known as license renewal, title needs and - wait, that's it, tell me again why I was there for six hours - aha, tune in for my BMV Ravenna Review ;) - I was hungry and at a stop sign when I decided to yell out to a pedestrian at the corner - "any good eats around here?" - "English Pub down the road!" she replied. And for that, I am grateful. I had the Italian Panini - in a word, YUM - but you know I won't stop there. Fresh deli meats, perfectly melted cheese, tasty light and crisp flatbread, served with a pickle spear and the loveliest helping of hand cut french fries. The owner recommended some Italian dressing on the side, which I absolutely took advantage of and dipped in repeatedly. Great herbs and spices in that thur' dressing. The fries were so lightly browned yet cooked fully - perfect fair fries - boy did they go down so easy and not OVERFLOWING with grease. They were honestly the best fresh cuts I've had in a long while. The ambiance and regulars may steer you away initially because it is dark and you get a few Ravenna strange - but please don't let it. This is a great place with great food and the intent to make you leave super happy. Strong customer service, I say! EPB, you did me well. See you soon, I assure you! read more

Don't judge it by the outside. It looks like an office building. Inside you will find what looked like an authentic English pub. I went to university in London...so I've seen a few. Food and ambiance was very typical. I had a salad and French onion soup. Salad was good, soup could have taken a little slide under the broiler. Hubs and one daughter had sandwiches. They were huge with generous amount of chips...that's French fries to us 'Mericans. And other daughter had the fish and chips. She said it was the best breading on fried fish she has ever had. read more

A little disappointed as we really love the food and the service but after going there during COVID I was upset to see they allow their patrons to wonder to and from the bar without a mask. They have a sign posted that masks must be worn unless seated but they don't enforce it. Guess I won't be back until COVID's over. read more

My wife and I have been coming here for many years and have yet to have a bad meal. They have the best burger in Ohio. Limited seating in the main room and there are more small two person tables than four and the fireplace is a nice touch but that too takes away some space that could otherwise house more tables. I can't understand the poor reviews; maybe we've just been lucky. We live 30 miles away and always stop in when we're near. read more
