I've been to this restaurant twice. The first time was OK. About what you would expect a little on the pricey side for what you get. The second time I went was celebrating my son's birthday with our family. The waitress did a lot of talking and not a lot of listening. Two main things I would critique here number one is this restaurant has no idea what fried rice is if you're looking to order that you will absolutely not get what you're expecting. They have a 8 foot round radius Wok that's always on. there's no reason in the world not to have fantastic fried rice. They have all the ingredients basically when you order it you get brought out a yellow dyed rice that is steam cooked no vegetables no grease. No nothing. It is definitely nothing fried about it. The waitress said that's how they do it and all their stores. My suggestion was just that they name it something else. It's just not fried rice at all. I even offered to cook it myself and show them how to make it. The second thing was, we ordered their fried Korean chicken wings, which are pretty good by the way. They brought out the smallest looking wings you could find. Now I thought that's just how it was but right across the table. There was a waitress sitting down for lunch eating some wings that were 10 times the size of mine. I kid you not. I told the waitress hey that's what I thought I was buying. Why are my wings so small and yours look like KFC wings. She said oh that's what we make for employees not for customers. Truly, you can't make this up. So I felt like I didn't get a good value or get what I paid for it all. I will say in all fairness the food is OK. The wings are pretty good just super tiny and overpriced. I definitely will not be back. read more

I am so happy I chose to give Yummy Bowl a try. I was impressed with the clean, pleasant ambiance, and the staff were very friendly and helpful with how to order. I love any interactive restaurant, especially where you can modify your meals. I ordered the "Super Yummy Bowl" with a few of my favorite veggies and steak. I was very pleased with the quality of the food and the texture of the noodles! And they had many sauces to choose from which I always love. I did a mix of the Mongolian, teriyaki and brown sauce and it was a delightful flavor. They have other items on the menu that look tasty as well and the restaurant next door has all you can eat sushi! I hope this place sticks around because I will definitely be back. read more

What a fantastic addition to all the dining options in the Belden area! We've been going to BD's Mongolian BBQ for YEARS (I'm a native Michigander and grew up on BD's) and one of the things we miss most from "home" is Mongolian bbq. We were eager to check out Yummy Bowl because they specifically mentioned being similar to BD's. We came on a Friday at lunch and were immediately welcomed and asked if we'd been there before. We had not, and our server, Jane, was SO wonderful. She explained the menu, the process if you get the BYO Bowl, took our drink order, brought us our bowls and showed us the cards to fill out and take up with us. You put your name, table #, and rice choice. The choices are plentiful and there's something for everyone. Jane met us at the sauce section and helped us sample different sauces based on our preferences (I like sweet-n-sour and she recommended General Tso sauce which was exactly what I wanted). My Build Your Own Bowl: shrimp, crab, steak, & chicken, broccoli, onions, green peppers, pineapple, and mushrooms. Topped with seasoning and General Tso sauce. The food came within five minutes and was DELICIOUS! Jane checked on our son who asked for chopsticks and was so impressed at his ability to use them (he eats Ramen frequently and has mastered using chopsticks). Overall it was a superb dining experience. The food was amazing, the service was spectacular, the restaurant atmosphere was clean, friendly, and inviting. We will be back and I recommend everyone try it! Lunch was $13 for a single bowl and if you go up for more, it's $4 more. read more

A friend and I checked out Yummy Bowl this week and I already can't wait to go back. The restaurant is much larger inside than it looks, very clean (complete with hand sanitizer before going to the buffet), and the service was friendly and quick! Their menu has a wide variety of appetizers, soups, salads, sushi, and ramen - but the star of the show is the build your own yummy bowl (Mongolian BBQ). They have a vast selection of veggies, meats, sauces and seasonings that you place in a bowl. They then cook it to perfection and deliver it to you back to your table. Everything I tried was delish! read more

We've been here 4 times in two weeks. We absolutely love the fresh selection of proteins and veggies. The sauces are outstanding and service is top notch. It's the perfect place to go for date night or with a group of friends. Can't wait for the sushi side to open 10/01/25! read more

This is a new to the area restaurant that offers a build your own Mongolian BBQ. As a former resident of the Columbus area....i really loved going to BD Mongolian BBQ, so I was so excited to see this addition to our area. The restaurant looked clean and the staff were very friendly. There was a pretty good selections of ingredients (especially proteins) at the build your bowl section, but they also had other foods such as sushi and ramen. We will come back again....the pricing was pretty good and the food was good. read more

I went on opening day about 11:00am. I was greeted, and I was shown around the place. It's new and clean inside. The food tasted very fresh, and it was cooked well. Nothing was over cooked. Yan took good care of me. The wait staff is very friendly. I hope the prices will stay reasonable. They have an AYCE option for bowls for 17.00 for lunch. I know it's probably a cost and speed thing, but it would be so much better for chunks of meat rather than thin sliced. Anyway, there are several meat, vegetable, and sauce options to choose from. Keep up the good work. I can't wait for the AYCE sushi side to open. I will definitely be trying it out as well. read more

My husband and I went for lunch on a Thursday. We each got a bowl and a sushi roll. They bring the bowl to you and a card that you mark your name, table number and what kind of rice you want (white, brown or fried). They also added a sticker to mine because I have a tree nut allergy. From there you go up buffet style and fill your bowl with noodles, veggies, and proteins. You season your bowl and then there are many sauce options. You pick 2 sauces and put them in little cups for them to add to your bowl when it's done cooking. They also have many tiny sample spoons so you can try the sauces before committing. You can also bring extra sauce back to the table if you want. They then take your bowl and cook it hibatchi style and the waitress brings it back to you. The whole thing was great and the food was phenomenal. I love that you can make it exactly how you want it! Sushi was great too! I think for lunch it was $13 for an adult bowl and the fancy sushi rolls we got right around $13 as well. For four dollars more you could get unlimited bowls, but the one was more than enough food. I still brought half mine home along with most of my sushi. Great experience. read more

I had seen this place while driving by one day but then saw it all over social media and decided to check it out. I am so glad I did because it was amazing. It was a busy Saturday lunch but the staff was attentive and helpful, service & food was served fast. They did a great job explaining everything for a first time visitor. The menu has something for everyone but the "build your own bowl" seemed to be the most popular. I can't wait to come back next time I am in the area! read more

I wish the workers spoke better English (sorry but it's conflicting) I chose the "Build your own bowl" for 15 dollars you get a red bowl you write on card white rice fried rice or brown and table number go over to station there is all types different types of noodle, then veggies from broccoli to green onions then the protein section which had everything from chicken to squid to lamb and steak a seasoning bar which had garlic powder crushed pepper lemon pepper etc finally a sauce section I wished they had labeled squeeze bottled but they have open canisters which you have to use a lapel to pour into a medicine cup like cup I see a person drop there cup into the open container scoop it out with their bare hands shake their sauce covered hands then lick their fingers then this fool places the lapel on counter so I was just turnt all the way off by that so I don't know what the sauces taste like lol you give your bowl to a cook and they cook it for you ( you go back to seat) on a big wok like stove when they finished cooking your meal ( cooks fast) a waitress brings your meal with their bare hands rice you choose! My bowl was tasty I wished I coulda tried a sauce maybe next time sauces will be in a bottle ~ hopefully read more

OMG-soooo good! Proteins fresh, not frozen. Reception staff friendly and helped explain options. Highly recommend Szechuan sauce.

Similar to Mongolian barbecue. Everything was fresh and tasty. Recommend mixing sauces for a unique flavor profile. You can taste each sauce before you decide. Definitely add the garlic sauce to whatever sauce you choose. Nice staff but their English is a bit broken so please listen carefully and be respectful. read more

This was our first time there. We ordered off the menu rather than making our own bowl. We both had the chicken fried rice. It was very good and a very generous amount for only $10! There are lots of sauces to choose from. We also ordered the 4 pc crab rangoon for an appetizer. Yummy! We were full after eating less than half and brought the rest home. There was so much leftover that it filled our to-go box. Next time, we will try the 'make our own bowl' method. You fill your bowl with the raw ingredients that you choose yourself then the chefs cook it right there. I like that you can watch your food being made. You get a ticket and they bring your bowl to your table. A server brings your drinks and anything else you may need. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. It's casual dining. A place where you can take your kids and not worry about being too loud. read more

I think this may be the first time that, as I was eating, I was wondering how soon could I come back here. I chose to create my own bowl and I would recommend that is the way to go. You pick what and how much seafood, meat, veggies you want. You can fill the bowl. Choose type of rice. Next you can taste test a variety of sauces and choose 1-2 of the ones you like best. Then they cook it for you and deliver it to your table in minutes. How can you not like it, right? I loved it!! It was absolutely delicious. read more

Omg!!! Best thing to happen in canton !!! Family of 5 went to try it out and it was nice hot and fresh, we got in before the rush, I'm sure when it's busy you have to wait a while before you can get your meal cooked but it was well worth the small wait! Make sure to add your sauces on the side of your bowl , we put ours on top and they told us everything cooks at different times so it would burn the meat? But other then that mishap on our end everything is pretty simple to make your bowl!!! All you can eat is a great value! We can't wait to come back! Services was nice there quick to get you more drinks or more bowls if you do the all you can eat! Thank you yummy bowl!!! 10 out of 10 !!!!! read more

Having heard about this place from TikTok and IG Reels I figured I should give it a try. Ive been to other "Mongolian" style cooking restaurants and understand the process of making my bowl. The server was good and explained what was gonna happen and took my drink order and off I went to make my food... The bowl station was clean and well organized, and even had a "hand sanitizer" right there to freshen hands up. The noodles and vegetables looked fresh and was chilled to food code, and the proteins were plentiful and equally as chilled. The seasoning was organized and not spilled everywhere and the sauces were equally as organized and presented. As for the flavor its build your own flavor, so you have to know what tastes good to make sure you don't ruin your food with to much salt or sauce, however if you have some common sense and a reasonable understanding of food flavors you should be good. As for the Flavor they have 15 choices!!! and they were good!! everything from teriyaki to schezuan to spicy Korean garlic to yum yum and all points in between... after you have assembled your bowl you drop it off at the end and they cook it for you. You can head back to your table to wait at this point - your server will bring it to you in a larger different bowl with a side of White, Brown, or Fried Rice. The food: everything was cooked and HOT and flavored with your seasonings and sauces, so its perfectly to your liking. The server was attentive but didn't hover, so I liked that. My only "ding" is that it was on the pricey side for one trip up to the buffet. Not that I wanted or needed a second trip, however I spent $19.85 with drink and extra rice pushed it to $27.35 with tax and tip. I will definitely come back however wont be a monthly visit like i had hoped. read more

The food was very good! The concept of the place is good too but our experience there wasn't so great. If the food is bad it's quite literally your fault unless your food is undercooked because the only thing the chefs do is cook it, you add everything. One thing I find a little odd is that you put your raw meet on top of everything instead of just cooking it with your rice beforehand, but I digress. Always, when we first walked in there we ordered a sushi roll before we went up to get our bowl and it never came. We ended up just going to make our bowls but when we came back tables got switched, which isn't their fault, it was busy, but it just mixed things up with the servers. We had gotten our bowls and waited a little longer for our sushi and still, we never got it. It had been about an hour and nothing! So we ordered it again and it still didn't come for another 45 minutes when we had already finished our bowls. There was no mutual communication with other servers for like every other server was trying to take our order. The atmosphere was certainly interesting, people cutting us in line, yelling people, crying babies, old Loud ladies, just overall loud and chaotic environment. Good food, and good people watching though if that's your cup of tea. It's not worth the hype, you could definitely make the food at home. I watched them put store bought Walmart brand green beans refill so it would likely be more food and less money to stay home and make it by yourself. With the chaotic environment, lack of communication between staff, and the overall service which took 2 hours mind you, I give it a 2/5. Simply not worth it, good food, but make it at home! read more

Went yesterday for sixth time since open. Always good time......this time after getting the second bowl for $4, as before, I was advised that I'd be charged by the pound if I took any of that home. Why would you charge a person on top of the $4 , as what's the difference if I eat all there or take a little home as it is quite filling...Waiter, broken English kept saying, it's the rules......am I missing something????.....I own it at$4...where I eat it shouldn't be based on an extra charge?? read more

This place is excellent. Extremely nice staff GREAT food. This was my third time eating here. Never disappoint. Highly recommend.

My family have a tradition of going to Chinese restaurants on Christmas day. Our old standard closed their doors. Yummy Bowl took their place. It has been completely remodeled and is beautiful. My wife and I gave them a try a few weeks ago and loved it. We decided they will be our new place for Christmas day. They are open then, we checked. You get to choose what ingredients you want, and they cook it and bring it to your table. It will take some time to find what I like. I guess we will just have to go often to figure the right stuff, but nobody's complaining. read more
