I've wanted to try honeygrow for a while and finally had the opportunity to stop yesterday. They had multiple screens for you to "self serve" order, I dined in and noticed most folks must pre-order on their app. The dining room was clean and had plenty of places to sit. I ordered a stir fry, and it had a really good sauce/flavor. The vegetables were cooked well and plentiful. Unfortunately the protein (chicken) was lacking, I'd say 3oz at most which was disappointing because overall the stir fry was good! I'll likely try it again, maybe doing to upcharge for double protein. read more

I had a great first experience at Honeygrow, it had a modern set up and ordering system on tablets which gave you the freedom to search the menu on your own & customize your items which I enjoyed. When I did have any questions the staff member at the register was extremely helpful, he even came around the counter to assist me with my order on the tablet. I asked him for a few suggestions and I was super thankful that he let me try one of the sauces he suggested, as I am very sensitive to spicy food. It was the sriracha tahini sauce which is a seasonal sauce from them and it was so good! Not too spicy at all. I created my own stir fry & they had so many options to choose from. You can add as many extras you'd like for small upcharges but the toppings and garnishes included were a lot in itself. Tried HoneyGrow for the first time today and loved that everything is made fresh, to order, with wholesome ingredients I actually recognize from my own kitchen. We ordered at the screens up front, which were easy enough to use, but I was a little bummed that there wasn't any staff interaction--no one to welcome us or help us out since it was our first time. That said, the ordering process was smooth. I got the sesame garlic stir fry with chicken, and I appreciated the option for whole grain noodles (yay for trying to eat more healthfully!). The cilantro and lime were a great finishing touch, and the overall flavor was really yummy. I did order double protein, but honestly, it didn't look like much--definitely not twice the amount. And the portion size felt small for the price. Also tried the strawberry guava lemonade--so good! I think it's honey-sweetened, which earns extra points in my book. All in all, I'm glad we came, but not sure it'll be a regular stop. Maybe I'll bring the kids next time and let them design their own stir fry--that could be fun! read more

Mannn, after trying this once and being disappointed, I thought I'd give it another try, because I really like the concept and the menu. But I really can't go above two or three stars (gave them the benefit of the doubt and ranking it a 3). The first time was from uber eats, and I was missing my drink, the protein on my noodles, and the fruit on my dessert. I kind of got the run-around and honeygrow blamed uber eats and uber eats blamed honeygrow and I don't think I ever got a credit for the missing items. Soooo this time, I decided to take it straight to the source. I downloaded the honeygrow app and ordered straight from that and went in to pick it up. I requested a pick up of 12:20 and it was ready fairly promptly (a few minutes late, but they get some grace- it was BUSY in there!) Looked like all systems were a go. I checked inside the bag and three boxes were there, plus silverware and napkins, and a cup for the fountain drink. But then I got home and opened it up. No dressing on the salad. No avacado. I doublechecked and those items were definitely listed on the order. The avocado was an upcharge, I believe. I have dressing at home, but when you order something you kind of expect it to be present. The noodles were fine. I had the seasonal crab noodles and they were good, but really not much crab meat. More noodles and filler than anything. The dessert was good; we tried the lemon mousse with various fruit on top. No complaints on that (aside from the fact that my five year old ate most of it and only left me one bite)! On the way out, this car in the parking lot wasn't paying attention and came within an INCH of backing right into my car. That gave me a little startle, but was grateful that they stopped just in the nick of time. So this order wasn't AS bad as my first experience, but I still don't think I'll go back there. It's a pretty pricey meal to not get what you ordered. With so many other places in this area, I'd be hard pressed to try again, unless maybe just a dessert or something. read more

Honeygrow is new to the area and I was eager to check it out. I think it's a great new addition! You walk in and order on a screen. They have numerous Asian fusion stir frys and salads. The best part? Everything is customizable, fresh, and they have homemade noodles! There is also a build your own option if you aren't loving any of their suggestions. After ordering, you find a seat while they make your meal fresh. They were decently busy when we arrived and yet our food came out fast. It was delish! I'll be back to try some of the other options as well. I had high hopes for this place, but alas it was somewhat disappointing. The place is nice and the people were friendly enough, but it's just not enough food for the price you're paying. At almost $14 for most of these stir fry's I would think I would've gotten almost 25-50% more food. I left feeling hungry still. It was $32 with a tip (for 2) and we even shared a drink. At least there were free refills I guess. A lot of these Asian type "chipotles" are starting to blend together. Oh and you order the food on a computer when you get there, so be prepared to do a bit of work. Not sure I'd be back. read more

We were excited to try this new fast casual place, and were very disappointed. First off is the misleading kids menu. All meals are $8 with side of fruit and juice box. Just kidding! If you want to add protein it's many dollars more. So unless you just want noodles and only 2 add-ons, you'll be paying a lot more than $8. And for a place with many varieties of fruit it's disappointing to see the kids only received boring grapes. The problem is nowhere on the menu board did it say starts at $8 or protein extra or anything so you don't know until you're already ordering in the kiosk. Nothing really has any taste. My daughter ordered her noodles with sauce on the side and they did not put her sauce in the bag at all. To make matters worse there was black flakes of burnt whatever all over her noodles, hence burnt flavor was all she had. So PB and J because burnt dinner. The salad ingredients were very fresh which is the reason for the 2 stars and not one. Had to use my own dressing at home because the 2 tablespoons I was given made for a very dry salad. The noodles are very clumpy and it's hard to get a bite but they have a great chew to them. Staff is instructed not to talk to customers? Unsure. No greetings, no thank you when I picked up my bag. Cold and robotic. Is this the future? Not the fun, fresh and friendly experience we were hoping for. read more

Honeygrow is new to our area, and honestly, I think a lot of us were really excited to have something new outside of burgers and chicken joining the area. We typically get take out, so we had to wait a bit until the create your own stir fry was available on the app....but it is now! The food was fresh and good. Orders were nicely packaged, hot and ready when they said they would. Parking is a little difficult right now as it has been really busy any time I've gone by, but there are spots there. We didn't have any real interaction with staff because we ordered thru the app, then just ran in to pick up. However, no one was rude and everyone seemed to be appropriately doing their job which is great. We will definitely go back and I would tell others to give them a try as well. So I went to this spot on a whim, and being Asian I was curious. I honestly really liked it, food has been consistently delicious and my orders have always been right. I love how minimal the inside of the store is, it's not an assault on the eyes and makes eating there a calm experience. My Fiancé and I come here as one of our normal places and never have we ever been disappointed with anything yet! Love love love the stir fry, we always get the brownie honey bar with extra whipped cream (We wish we could add extra honey) we have also tried the salads and they have been way more food than we were able to eat! I get the loaded Greek salad and I don't even need to use the dressing because of how good it is! We have had good service thus far. Some have even brought us our food rather than just calling us. There is a really nice vibe when eating in, especially when it's warm out and nice a cool inside. Definitely one of our favs! The only thing that could be different, like I said previously, a place to add Extra Honey as part of the honey bar. I think then, it would be perfect! read more

I went to the Montrose location today and was delighted by the service and food. Garlic Butter shrimp and noodles with chili flakes, mushrooms and pea pods were FABULOUS! The fruit cheesecake desert including strawberries and blueberries fruit were fresh and delicious. Staff was accommodating and attentive. I am definitely visiting again and soon. read more

My wife and I have been wanting to try this place for some time. It looked similar to BIBIBOP which I like so we thought we'd give this place a try. The ordering is setup nicely with multiple kiosks to place an order. The wait time was around 25 minutes for 2 adult stir fry bowls and 2 kids noodle bowls during a busy hour, they seemed pretty slammed. The worker at the counter plating everyone's orders....must have been having a terrible day. Scoffing at customers, arguing with another customer, tossing the bags of food on the shelves. I've seen how busy other establishments can be with their bags, this worker was on another level. To be honest, they probably should have taken a minute to cool off in the back. When our order was called, it was missing 2 items for our girls (their bag of fruit and a juice box). The worker at the counter said they ran out, offered nothing for the shorted meal, and honestly was pretty aggressive. Save your money, portions are medium/small. read more
