Great Salads that live up to their name! I chose a Big Popeye which includes spinach, mushrooms, onion, egg and bacon bits. ($9) Did not disappoint! If I was dining in I would have chosen the half order at $7 but I plan on making two meals of it. Fresh greens and other ingredients too. You can pick a variety of proteins to place on top of the salad. And it's amazing to support a small local business!! I've only identified 2 areas of opportunity for this restaurant: 1. Cut sizes: the veggies are too big. The salad would be much better if the cut sizes were smaller (especially the onions, bell peppers, cucumbers, and mushrooms) 2. Not enough dressing: if you have a "big ass salad" then you need a "big ass" dressing. They only give you a small portion cup of dressing. They offer additional dressing for $0.75 extra.... but this ratio doesn't seem quite right. read more

Oh. So. Freaking. Yummy! I mean, when they say big ass salads, they mean it! Ordering online and picking up is your best bet. They do deliver, but I've heard they can get busy at times and take a while (never experienced it myself since I pick up). They have special salads and then you can make your own salad. My biggest complaint is they do charge extra for more dressing, and you need more dressing with the size of the salads so I don't feel like that's fair. read more

So, my review is based on my SECOND visit, the first visit i actually didnt get served because apparently being an out of towner and not knowing this business, lunch is a madhouse for them, so if you don't order online or by phone you are going to wait a good 20+ minutes if you walk in and do an order, I didn't have time to wait so I left. Today I was in the area again and ordered online, THIS IS THE WAY TO GO! Their online system is super fast, super simple and you can see exactly what each salad is in a picture which was helpful for a first timer. I ended up getting the Chicken Caesar salad, due to dietary restrictions i didn't get croutons but i added hard boiled eggs, the salads are HUGE, if you eat in store they are bigger, the "smalls" to go are pretty small, but the big ones are enormous. I am on the ketogenic diet (low carb, high fat, moderate protein) and this place is going to be my new go to!
