Tucked inside a beautifully restored historic hotel turned apartment building, the atmosphere blends classic charm and original decor with a welcoming, laid-back vibe. The natural wood and beautiful bar makes you wonder who has sat in there in past years. Conestoga Grill is locally owned, food is homemade, and everything is spotless! Food was very good. Had a Friskar, a tuna salad sandwich and two soups. Good portions and tasty. Came out promptly. Nice, classical ambience. Service was lacking. Server was a bit unfocused. Forgot to bring our drinks. Did not check to see if we needed a refill but responded quickly when we asked. Need to bring a bowl of creamers for coffee... not just one or two. This is our go to place in downtown Canton. Surprisingly Great food for a bar and really nice ant attentive bar tenders

The ambiance is quite nice and it reminded me of some of my favorite pubs in NY. The food is pretty good, but not out of this world. The pulled pork was probably my favorite. The grilled cheese left a lot to be desired. I think it needed to have been on buttery bread, not a pressed panini. But that may just be personal preference. Nice local beers on tap and since autumn is almost here, we had a Pumpkin Ale, which went down really nice. I'll likely be back, but will try something different next time. read more

We came to this place while visiting from out of town and picked it based on the reviews...and it was spot on! Servers/bartenders were super attentive. The hot wings were phenomenal! I got the all American burger which was delicious and my husband got the pizza which was pretty good as well. It's definitely got a bar atmosphere and a bit loud inside but if you don't mind that scene, you've gotta check this place out! read more

In town for a basketball game at Walsh, we wanted to try a local restaurant. The Conestoga Grill did not disappoint! The bar area was very crowded due to a class reunion party. But the moment we walked in, Dominic, the owner made his way to the front to greet us and sat us at a table on the other side of the bar. Service from there was fantastic and friendly. The half-pound burgers were juicy (loved the BBQ sauce) and actually cooked to order. (Some places tend to overcook all burgers!) My mother, the Italian connoisseur, enjoyed the lasagna, which was a huge portion and came with a nice side salad. We only wish we weren't too stuffed to order the dessert special, a double chocolate brownie. Really impressed with this place, especially when they provided excellent service to our party of 5 even while they were so crowded with a large event. read more

Searched Yelp for a "local" restaurant/pub in Canton. Stumbled onto the good reviews for Conestoga Grill in downtown. Really glad we tried it !! The "special" of lobster mac&cheese with salad was great at a very reasonable price. Lots of flavor! Bacon BBQ, cheddar burger with fresh cut fries was outstanding. More than ample selection of draft beers made for a memorable night out. Service was very prompt, friendly and attentive. Will definitely return if we get back to the area. read more

Had a fantastic night last night at the historic Conestoga Grill - great drinks and awesome food late night for Brian Urlacher's HOF celebration after the induction ceremony. The bar had 100 of us in there with Dominic out front, Vince in the kitchen and Chili behind the bar! Could not have been more efficient, welcoming and did I mention, delicious? Everything -- the pizzas, wings, burgers and ribs -- were top notch. Great prices and fantastic strong drinks and perfect atmosphere. We didn't want to leave!
