Went to bob evans for breakfast.My friend and i used to go with her grandkids. We stopped going due to the food sucking and bad service. Our service today was excellent!! Tamika was awesome!! She was very attentive and brought us what she thought we might need. She was busy but as on time as a server could be! The food was hot...cooked just how we asked for it and delicious!! The cooks are much better now also! It was a wonderful! The place was clean and the atmosphere was a family feel...everyone smiling asking what we needed! THIS WAS A DELIVERY ORDER. This order caused me to delete the app. This order also convinced me that I'll never step foot inside this restaurant even if the meal is free. The store ignored ALL of my notes. Loaded home fries means you get cheese and sour cream. I said NO cheese and I hate sour cream. I was only able to eat half the fries after a lot of ketchup was applied. There was cheese on my omelet and I didn't ask for any. I asked for diced ham and got none. Not sure if I got the bacon bits. Once the cheese was scraped off and salt and pepper added the omelet was good. Generous portion of butter applied to sourdough toast which tasted good. The tea was good but they only filled the cup 3/4. The apple pie was ok but as usual it looked nowhere near as good as the picture. Overall I'm unsatisfied with this purchase but yes I ate it because there is NO OTHER RECOURSE! read more

I ordered takeout from Bob Evans a couple times a month during the pandemic, mainly to support a local business. I've seen the quality go downhill significantly over the last couple of years. Todays order was an example of that. The chicken and noodles that I ordered had about six pieces of tiny chicken that were two tough to eat. The food was cold and flavorless. The carrots were overcooked to the point of nearly being liquified. I ordered a slice of pie that was supposed to come with whipped cream. It had no whipped cream and was over baked with a dry, dark brown, stale crust. The food went in the trash and I opened a can of soup. It was much better than the cold, over-cooked flavorless food I got from Bob Evans. read more

I'll start with the service. Our waitress Denise was the sweetest. She was attentive and had a wonderful personality. Now to the bad part...our food was just horrible. I got the western omelet. It was sloppy and cold and didn't look like there was any cheese in it. There were hardly any fillings in it. I got the cup of fruit. The honeydew was out of season and hard and flavorless, and the grapes were tiny and bitter, one even had mold. My sister and mother both got browns with cheese. The hash browns were no more than a tablespoon per serving, and the cheese wasn't melted. The biscuits and gravy were bland and cold. The country fried steak was very good on the other hand. Just not enough gravy. The restaurant was clean and quiet with there not being many people. Overall the food isn't good. But Denise was lovely. read more

I was a huge fan of the turkey farmhouse feast for 4 ... we had it two years ago and it was fabulous! I have told everyone to get it.. the turkey was real, and all the sides were tasty. I ordered the same thing this year... I had lost 5 people in a week so I was really looking forward to a nice dinner to cheer me up. I read all the directions and had post it's on each container to know what times things went into the oven, microwave or stove. Stopped by on our way home from PA because I was in the mood for Beef Vegetable Soup. There was a short wait due to social distancing which was fine but once seated and waited on it took forever to get our food, the manager ended bringing most of it to us. Hubby got the Farmhouse Hand Breaded Fried Chicken Sandwich while I got a bowl of beef vegetable soup & the cranberry pecan chicken salad. The food was all very good but no one ever came back to check on us, it got to the point I was going to go up to the counter to get to go boxes myself. Not sure why the poor service considering how empty the restaurant was but the manager did go above & beyond. Ordered breakfast via DoorDash from this lovely establishment. The breakfast was amazing. Everything arrived hot and fresh. I ordered the pancakes, sausage links, home fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, and biscuits with sausage gravy. Oh and a peach tea. Everything was delicious! I'm not a fried potatoes person but whoa! They were soo good. I've never had biscuits and gravy before today but I will definitely be ordering it again. The only thing is, the peach tea was not sweet. My family and I decided to give the Bob Evans restaurants another shot after a two year protest since our last bad meal and service there (both locations) . I gave the online carry out a go and we ordered turkey with stuffing , mashed potatoes with country gravy, garden salad , and rolls for our meal and for dessert we ordered a loaf of the amazing banana bread ( well it used to be ). We ordered and got the confirmation with a pick up time , my husband was there on time but the food was not ready for another 20 mins after he paid . Lets start with the rolls , they were absolutely mangled ! Like we're talking smashed , punctures and just handed with absolute disregard for whoever was looking forward to their soft fluffy yeasty yummyness. I can certainly understand them being a bit smooshed because they were shoved in a foam clamshell container vs a box or a safe place for them . What we received almost brought tears , I was so excited about their rolls , if you've had them then I'm sure you can understand lol. Ok so after the rolls we opened what looked to be a massive fresh and yummy salad with lots of toppings ! Great! I love salad but then as I was dishing it out I noticed what was under all those deceiving toppings. The lettuce was gross , brown , clear and no mistaking it was bad . Clearly the person preparing the salad didn't care that this may cause someone to get sick , Listeria is no joke ! Two things now absolutely ruined for me ! And simple simple things ! The mashed potatoes were standardish, a bit dry at the top but eh not a big deal , the country gravy had someone else's potatoes in them... awkward The turkey and gravy were yummy but could have been a bit hotter but that was the only part of the meal that didn't disappoint . After all was said and done I was just knew that the amazing , moist and flavorful banana nut bread would make it all better, I was so so wrong . Dry flavorless brick that kinda had an off onion flavor . 6/14/14 Being as I couldn't celebrate on Father's Day with my Dad on the accrual day due to another event we decided to all get together for breakfast. My parents love this place so my sis and I decided to treat them to breakfast. There was plenty of parking. When I went in there was no wait so I was able to get a table for 4 and a baby carrier seat. He waitress was over promptly to take our drink order. Once she brought those back she took our food order. I got the Farmer's Choice Breakfast! So YUM! Breakfast is my favorite meal. The staff was very friendly. I grew up eating Bob Evans sausage and every time I visit their restaurant oh, such fond family breakfast memories at home with family enter my brain. Nevertheless, my dad is 80 years old and Bob Evans is his favorite sausage and whenever, you take him out for breakfast he requests Bob Evans restaurant. This place is always packed for breakfast especially during holidays. We had just a 15 minute wait the morning of my visit. The service and food were yummy as always. They do well with special requests for eggs which is a plus. I like my eggs with onion and cheese. According to my Dad the coffee and OJ were fresh. They do offer affordable meal deals. However; once you start adding special request items like onion, cheese, extra bacon or sausage the meal cost with rise but, it's so worth it for the special requests. This is such a great place for family time! As soon as we were seated we felt unwelcome. The server Marge barley looked at my husband. She would only truly speak with me. Out food came out horrible. Burned and looked as if it was sitting for a long time. She didn't ask if we needed anything more to drink. As soon as the food came out she was right there ready to with the check. Horrible service, food and staff. We waited for seating with tables open. It took 40 minutes for them to bring the wrong food out and undercooked as well. They also allow people to bring dogs in their purses, which wouldn't be a problem if the dog wasn't eating better than I was. I had to take my daughter somewhere else to eat because they ruined her order twice. Mr. Evans is probably rolling in his grave. My eggs were under cooked, despite specific request for well done eggs. The home fried were partially cooked...raw in the center. The sausage was salty and burned on one side. I let the server know and she brought back deep fried home fries that wreaked of old funky grease. I felt insulted! Chain restaurants seem not to care about quality...only their profit margin.
