I'm a little shaken up writing this from what I just experienced so excuse me if my writing or grammar is off
I have my regular nail salon that I go to that I love, I am one of their regulars and became friends with everyone over the time. But it was my friends birthday, and we decided to get our nails done together at Blush Nails.
I got dip powder nails and a gel pedicure which all came out to $155. The very next day, my pinky toe polish came off. 2 days later my finger nail completely lifts off from the back and comes off. 5 days later another toe polish comes off. I have never had gel polish come off my toes before, usually the nail salon has to take them off when getting them re done because they are all still on from a previous good polish job where the polish was not touching the skin (if you do your own gel polish at home sometimes, you know that you cannot touch the gel to the skin or it will completely come off, so obviously this polish job at Blush Nails was not done correctly) I was on vacation 350 miles away so I could not go right away to get it fixed. Just used some nail glue to hold the finger nail until I got home and could go back and have them fix it so I had to spend my entire vacation with a bad $155 nail job. But no big deal right? That's what I thought.
When I went back to Blush Nails for the fixes, you could tell immediately they hate to be bothered with fixes and do not take accountability for their mistakes. I was told I have to pay $5 for the nail because it was over a week I didn't come in even after explaining to them I got my nails done right before my vacation so they would be new and spent a lot of money for a bad nail job. No budge. That's fine I understand I have to pay $5 for a fix. Moving on, the lady fixing my nail, explains to me it will not be the same, but will be similar since she does not know the color that was used. I told her that's fine as long as it looks similar like she said. After she fixed it, I noticed it was a much brighter pink, and stood out like a sore thumb so I mentioned it to her very nicely, was not rude, upset, or anything, all I did was mention the difference and she got enraged and furious. Started making a scene in front of the entire salon saying she told me it wouldn't be the same but similar and I said yes similar, but it just looks very different in my opinion (I'm still not even mad or upset, literally just calmly talking to her as a human being) and she grabbed my hand and started ripping the nail off yelling, she will not be doing my nail anymore so now I am sitting in the chair with my nail ripped off trying to process the entire situation. I asked to speak to the owner and he came over from where he was sitting, which was right by us, and he began to start, belittling me and yelling at me as well saying he was watching and listening the entire time and that I agreed for her to take the nail off and that he didn't care how much I spent here.
At this point, I am so astonished at how I am being treated by the nail tech and the owner yelling at me in the chair in front of the entire nail salon, I go into a full on panic attack and start crying, I have no idea how it got to this point. I told the owner all I want is my nail fixed so I can leave.
He proceeded to fix my nail as I am crying and very condescendingly says I don't know why you're crying. When it was finished I paid the $5 and left.
Sitting in my car trying to comprehend what happened and I'm just astonished.
I could understand if I was one of those extremely rude and entitled customers who comes in and demands them to fix it but when you come in being genuine and kind, just asking them to fix their mistakes and get treated so poorly like that, I just can't even believe it.
Do not come here. All the other reviews are true they are extremely rude, unprofessional, and do not take accountability for their mistakes. And obviously like the owner said does not care how much money you spend here.
Going back to the salon you got your nails done at for fixes should NOT have been like this. read more
