Went here for the first time 5 days ago. My nails looked really nice, but as of yesterday, my toes are already chipping! My toes always last 3-4 weeks any other time I have them done. After paying $72, I'm definitely not happy! read more

Terrible. My nails are like paper now. They chipped after the first visit right away...I spent $95 & tipped $20. Next time I dealt with the owner who asked me if I bite my nails and smoke. Ahh, NO. As a biz owner I thought she would have just made this right. She charged me $120 for a dip mani and some pedicure. Long and short they all chipped again, nails are peeling. I'm doing my own nails from now on.... NYC great Mani and Pedi for $35/45. Also the owner kept texting and calling me. Excessively, 5 times in a minutes telling me to answer her calls when I was at work. Seriously? Please let me know if you find a decent nail place down here. :) read more

I went to the salon and was taken care of by Jen, I'm not sure if she's the owner or not but she was very attentive and the one who greeted me first. I went for a regular (NO GEL) manicure and pedicure. I did have gel nail polish on so that needed to be removed. I also ended up doing my eyebrows and lip waxing. The entire service took a little over an hour about 70 minutes. I was shown the pricing for the pedicure and I picked the $35 which included the callus removal. The normal removal of gel, cuticles cleaned, cooling gel, warm towel all the regular stuff. So I knew it was $35. Jen kept pushing for me to do gel or even dip powder which I understand it's part of the business to try and upscale you. However when it came to my hands idk If it's because I didn't need a lot of work but she took less than 30 minutes. Removed the gel, cut down, removed cuticles, and added the regular nail polish. She finished with my eyebrows and lip. There was no cuticle oil added or hand massage, no hot towel for my hands. Nothing special tbh. The total came out to $85... I think that was expensive considering I didn't do gel or any fancy color and when I asked she said it's $5 extra on hands and feet for NOT doing gel again idk if I'm being extra but I felt this was expensive. Her response was "that's how they charge everywhere." I personally think this was more expensive than it should have been. The nails did come out pretty and I like my eyebrows but I don't know if I'd come again. Not with those prices. If you can afford it on a regular I do recommend but those on a budget I'm sure there's cheaper places that still provide good quality read more

Fast, good prices, great work. I walked in with no appt on a Friday at 3pm and was lucky enough to get seen right away by Jenny. She did my eyebrows and a dip mani. She was fast, nice, and did an excellent job. The dip mani was $45. Removing the poly gel I had before was $5 (they don't charge if you're going from dip to dip). And the eyebrows were $12. Definitely coming back to see her. The place was clean, relaxing (they had spa music), and they played this cake making channel on the TV that I really liked lol read more

Came here on a whim. My nail salon that I've been going to for YEARS decided to close on Sundays and I needed to take the risk.... GLAD I DID! What a WONDERFUL place; people and environment! Jenny, John and Tina are all so kind and VERY TALENTED! I've told my family and friends about them and they all are just as fond of them as I am! I swear best pedicure by Tina and dip by John. Jenny did my friend's dip and hers was just as beautiful. My daughter loves nail art and John... OMG! He's a nail artist! Nice, clean and relaxing environment. When I called Roland was very nice and quickly texted me all the different availabilities they had for the following week when I was free! It was so quick and easy to schedule an appointment t that worked for me. Kay did an amazing job with my nails and worked for 2 hours on my mani/pedi! It looked just like the picture I showed her and I loved them!! They have amazing prices and would definitely recommend coming here!! Very clean, massage chairs while you get your pedicure and a nice atmosphere with music. It's in a large plaza with plenty of parking. This place is great the couple just took it over. They are clean they take their time doing good quality work. I brought myself and my grandmother here we got Gel manicure and Gel Pedicure. They don't cut corners which I love customer service is 100% which is rare in this day and age. Call to book an appt if you can but if not they take walk ins. Tons colors to choose from which is a plus but for me the customer service and cleanliness is what matters most. read more

John does really great work. He has been doing my nails and a few of my friends nails for years however, his wife Jenny has a horrible soul. She's super rude, you never feel like a valued client there . John has lost several long term clients because of his wife and her nasty behavior! she's awful and after 8 years of being a consistent client I was ran off by his wife by a very distasteful text message. She's super controlling of him and even argues with him in front of clients. It won't be much linter before he loses the little clientele that he has left . She must think they're the best or only nail shop ! no one has to spend their money where they aren't valued! read more

Wow! I've found a gem with this nail salon... the location isn't great so word of mouth and reviews will have to do this place justice! My nail tech (owners wife) was extremely detail oriented. I'm always picky with my nails and often times feel rushed at other places but not here! I'm so happy with how my set (nails and toes) turned out. They take the time to talk with you and get to know you. I mentioned how I felt that nobody was in the Christmas spirit this year and to my surprise they put on some Christmas music for me! if i can give TEN stars i would. brand new location... just a couple of months open. let me tell you they are going to last a long time. KIMMY [owner/ nail specialist] made me feel right at home. the spa is beautiful. feels like your dream vanity room. so peaceful, music playing in the back. she makes sure you're doing ok. if you like a massage, the chairs are BOMB. the have plug in usb so you can charge your phone or so. i loved it! she took her time with me... no rush no nothing. i recommend this location to everything. read more

I like coming here, they are pretty busy but they do a good job of making sure to get clients in and out to the best of their ability. They also do a great job- I got acrylics done (I don't remember who did them) but they literally lasted for an entire month and some change. read more

A bit less then relaxing and disorganized. Has potential but staff is too distracted by trying to attend to too many people at once! My services should not be interrupted by having to attend to another customer constantly stepping away from completing my service! Along with rude customers kids playing loud music and watching loud shows on their phones further taking away from what was supposed to be a relaxing afternoon read more

Poor customer service! I made an appointment for 10:00 am but unfortunately no one showed up and found out they were running late. Finally at 10:30 one person showed up but I was told I would have to wait until 11:00. Finally She showed up and told me she looked at the calendar and missed my nail and pedicure appointment. Weird thing was they took someone else first before me even though I had an appointment and she did not. This place has definitely gone down in quality and service. I will not go back. First time visiting this nail salon as I was tired of going to those mediocre " factory" places always rushing you out. This place was super clean and I ended up seeing Jenny who was nice and did a good job with my pedicure. Decided to return for a second visit ( this time with the hubby) and had a completely different experience. I scheduled a mani/pedi with Jenny again. Well my pedicure was done by Jenny and then she sends me over to do my manicure and tells me she is behind and someone else will be doing it and walks away .... Ummm what? So that did not me happy as I made the appointments specifically with her and was not right that she did that. In the meantime, my husband has been sitting and waiting for his manicure with Kaye ( the owner ) for a while and I see her walking around opening cases of water bottles , filling up the hot towels and I realized she was not coming to help him and decided to ask her, " Are you going to do his manicure?" and she pauses and then laughs and says , " Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot!" Well while I'm finishing up my manicure now before him due to the mix up and her forgetting , I see her placing his hands in this heating element and was like , why are you using that on him and come to find out she put GEL clear matte polish on him... GEL!!! What in the heck? I don't even get gel on my nails so why in the world would you put that on him -just to increase the price of his service? When I questioned why she did that, she had an attitude and got a little defensive and said well I asked him if he wanted gel and that it was better and before she could even finish her sentence I stopped her and said are you serious? Why would he even want that and how many men have you put gel polish on? All she kept saying was, " He tell me yes, ok." He had no idea what the difference was and of course told him nothing about a price difference. Seriously, Kaye? No offense but my husband had no idea what she was even talking about and I'm quite sure she knew that. She took advantage of him because if she would have asked me or I was there to observe , the answer would have been a solid NO and she probably never would have even asked him to begin with. He simply came to get a basic manicure to clean up his nails and she knew that. Come on! Well when we expressed that we were less than pleased with my manicure change up and his ridiculous GEL manicure , Kaye became very nasty, she raised her voice and was downright rude while there were a few other customers in her store. Completely unprofessional. So sad based on all the positive reviews which is how I ended up there in the first place but after that second all around screwed up visit and treatment ....NEVER AGAIN! I Saw a completely unexpected and shocking side of her and could not believe how disgusting and belligerent her behaviors were and she will never have the opportunity to speak to me like that again. read more

Amazing job doing a new set of acrylics by John. Very thorough, clean and detailed! The price was great too, half the price I paid in Key Largo and my nails were much stronger and more beautiful than what I had before. I strongly recommend TVO Nails! I even waited a few days to do this review, just to make sure my nails were as strong as I felt they were. I live in Montana, but I'll be coming back here to get my nails done anytime I'm in Florida! When I walked in, I was greeted by Aida who introduced herself and told me that she was the owner. I had the Signature Facial which included a décolleté and arm massage. Mika explained what she was doing as she did the facial and asked how I took care of my face and gave some suggestions. She also massaged my neck and upper shoulders using her hands/knuckles. Wow did that feel great! My face felt tingly and very clean after my facial. She also applied some hyaluronic lip gloss to my lips when she was done. My lips are normally dry and I'm constantly putting on Chapstick. The lip gloss lasted for about 2 hours! It was so relaxing that I wanted to go home and take a nap after, lol. Wonderful positive experience! From the time I called to make an appointment until the time we left the spa everything was great and very personable. New Spa( opened in December) everything is spotless and Covid procedures are taken extremely seriously. Got an appointment within the hour I called; and went with my husband because he needed his toes done. He is very particular. We walked in and our temperatures were taken immediately, then we were asked to wash our hands using a touch-less dispenser. I was just going along for the ride since it was our fist experience and was offered to sit in the beautiful foot chair and use the massage controls while Ava took very good care of my husbands pedicure. Roland the owner spoke with us and greeted us by first names. He cleaned everything which was used while e were there. It is immaculate. Unfortunately they are located behind the car wash on the West side of University in one of the store fronts labeled TVO. Word of mouth and reviews are the best means for referrals. They certainly impressed the two of us and we will definitely be back. ( Since Covid-19,) I am giving my nails a break as they need it but after summer and pools, I will definitely call them for an appointment and my husband will also be using them again. I was told about TVO by a friend who has not liked most nail places but really liked TVO and she was right. I do the dipping powder which seems to take forever but did not bother me here because the conversation was so good I didn't even realize the time flew by. Kay was attentive and listened to what I wanted and Roland wanted me to be comfortable. It was a wonderful experience and I will be back. Also, the salon was immaculate. Give it a try. read more

My nail artist is Jenny, she did a spectacular job with my nails! I got a pedicure (polish) and a manicure (gel), they both look amazing! its hard to tell the difference! A very pleasant experience at this salon! Everyone was extremely nice and the pedicure was done very well and clean! My toes were in bad shape before my visit but they cleaned me up and the paint job was very well done and not messy like some places. Would recommend and come again! read more

Less than a week in and I have had two chips. I went in to have the one fixed and all they did was not fix the problem but filed my nail down so the chip was not visible. Normally in multiple other salons a dip manicure takes close to an hour or more time to do correctly. The man that did my manicure took less than 40 minutes. I had called and made an appointment. It started off with this one woman who was very nice and did my pedicure, once I sat down and she was working on my manicure. Once she trimmed my nails I was told that she had another appointment so I had to move to the person next to her that clearly did a crappy job. If she had an appointment why was my appointment given to her is beyond me. I felt like I was treated more like a walk in. But still paid over $100. I will not be going back to fix the chips because they just make you feel like you are a little Cuckoo when you go in n to have them fix their poor quality. Next time when my regular place is closed due to an emergency I will wait at least they do a good job and stand by their work!
