I want to start by saying I rarely write negative Yelp reviews, but I felt like I needed to warn others about this experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. The place was completely empty on a Friday morning, which already felt a bit odd, but it quickly became clear why. The staff (including the owner, Zurina via phone) were very dismissive, making me feel like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. The front desk staff were incredibly condescending and spoke to me in a way that felt disrespectful and unnecessary. I've honestly never been spoken to like that in a customer service setting. To make matters worse, I had booked my services in advance and received a confirmation. However, when I arrived, the desk staff insisted that I had booked a different service -- even though I had proof of my confirmation. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, they doubled down and made me feel like it was somehow my fault despite having had confirmation on my phone which I showed to them. Customer service goes a long way, and unfortunately, this place completely missed the mark. I left feeling frustrated and uncomfortable, which is the exact opposite of how you should feel after a salon visit. In fact, I asked them to cancel my services altogether instead of proceeding, solely because of how poorly I was treated. The reception was friendly and pleasant. Paulina greeted me with a lovely smile. She started my service immediately. This was a restful, pleasant service. I enjoyed my service where II didn't feel rushed at all. Paulina was careful and attentive. She instinctively applied callous removers to the areas in need. I had to come home to fix my nails after my visit and leave before she started painting. The manager came and told me they had no time for me to get tips to fix the shape my nail technician made, and no discount or sorry or nothing. This was my first time here and I got a gel manicure done by Raquel. I had them done on Monday night and by Wednesday I had 2 tiny chips on 2 nails. Today is Saturday and I have a full on chip. I have not done anything unordinary with my hands and usually gels will last me 2 weeks before chipping. I went to get a pedicure and dip with tips and i showed the lady the picture of what i wanted and she immediately said that she knew how to do it. what i wanted was the Hailey Bieber pearl nails which have chrome but still have a natural finish. The lady that was doing my nails made my nails very uneven, one are longer than the others and they look very crooked. The design is nothing to what i wanted. She put too much of the chrome powder, so it just looks like white nails with glitter on them. I've been going to posh nail Lounge In Weston for over two years now. I originally started going to the Davie location and one thing I can say is that this is the best nail salon I have ever been to. Its super clean and everyone is always nice. Every nail tech is amazing. I book Na a month in advance for my appointments. She is literally that amazing! I get designs every singe time for the last 4 years I've been with her and every time I'm More impressed with her work. I'm very picky about my nails and how they look. Na is honestly amazing. I was immediately greeted, since I had no appointment I was aware there might be a wait as I showed up without calling. The girl at the front desk, super sweet might I add, told me to pick a color and within 5 minutes I was already getting my pedicure. The tech Alex was beyond amazing, cleaned my feet perfectly, cut and shape were amazing and the color application was spotless, the same goes for my nails! I have gone here a few times and have had pleasant experiences. I had an appointment last week that I scheduled two weeks prior. I arrived a few minutes early and when I checked in, I was told my technician was almost done with the customer before me. I picked my color, took a seat and waited patiently. 10 minutes later, someone else told me she was almost done. Great! After 25 minutes of waiting, I noticed that she hadn't even started to apply polish to the toe nails of the customer she was with. At that point I realized I wasn't going to have enough time for my appointment, so I asked to reschedule. Frustrated that I wasted half an hour of my day and didn't even get my nails done. If my technician was running late, I would've appreciated a phone call so that I could adjust my schedule. The least they could have done was be honest when I got there so I could either go with a different technician or reschedule then. Returned for my rescheduled appointment, and luckily they started my pedicure right on time. When she was done, a different technician was going to go my manicure. Again was told "she was almost done". I waited 45 minutes for the technician to say she was feeling well, packed up her things and left. Luckily they were able to squeeze me in with someone else, but again 45 minutes of my day wasted. My time is valuable to me. I don't go to get my nails done to spend hours sitting around waiting. I gave them two chances and both times, my time was disregarded. They do a nice job once you are being attended to, but I don't have time to sit around and wait. Won't be returning. read more

This one just happens to be closer to me. Everything about this salon is upscale. The salon is clean always, and the ambiance is totally quaint and relaxing. The owners are so wonderful and provide an experience that will keep you coming back. The technicians are also wonderful and seem to love what they do. I can't say anything negative about any service I have ever received. However I must say that Rosario is awesome. She always does an amazing job on both my mani and pedi.
