I've been going to this Uni K Wax location for 3 years. It's clean and they are very fast with their services. I've been going to Olga since the beginning (she's my usual, she's very friendly and great at her job!), but I can also recommend Catalina and Angela. They accept walk-ins, but if you create an online profile, you can save time by booking yourself online AND you get reward points, which translates to discounts on your next services. You can also call to make an appointment. Refer a friend, and you'll get $5 off your next service too. I've been to the Fort Lauderdale Uni K, and it is not as nice as this Weston location. The facility is very clean and modern ,the staff is friendly and there's a welcoming environment . I found this place online near my job ,I needed to do my eyebrows asap ! It was an emergency ,i saw decent reviews and decided to give it a try . I didn't make any reservation I just walked in . I was checked in and I only waited around 10 minutes . The place is bright and lots of doors for privacy . Again, the place is spotless ! To get my eyebrows done was $22 which I don't mind paying if I'm satisfied with my eyebrow shape . Now, I like my eyebrows to be sharp with an arch and I explained that to the lady . She did well at making them even but to me it looked like she just removed the excess hairs floating around she didn't shape them and honestly I wouldn't go back for that price . Aslay is the best wax technician. I have been waxing since I was 19. over 20 years later I have not found anyone close to her skills.

The women are very nice and friendly.... hence 2 stars, but the service was seriously lacking. I had my eyebrows done and she essentially gave me no shape. Then this morning when I went to do my make up I saw stray hairs left everywhere!!!!! A few here and there below my brow....had to pluck them. A few on the side (outside my eyebrow area)....had to pluck them. And to my horror, 1 inbetween my brows which I also had to pluck. So tell me, what's the point of paying this place to wax and shape my brows when I left with very little shape and I still had to "clean up" my own brows. read more

Isabel Perez Cusano I was very disappointed by the actions of Uni.K.Wax studio. I called to make my appointment today and they have a new charge for the PPP to there customers. PPP moneys was giving by the government to companies to protect them self's and the costumers. I have never seen a company trying to charge to the personal protection to there customers. I am a business woman my self and I use allot of PPP in my office and I think is wrong to try to profit from Covid-19. Last year they increase the prices and I thought they were getting pricy for 15 minutes of there time. This new charge to profit them self s is a little to much. I called other wax studios and they do not charge for PPP and they were cheaper than they are. I have been going to this studio for years, since they have this new owner the place is raising prices and now charging for things they used even before the Covid-19. I've always gone to uni k, just a different location. Since I moved I wanted to find one closer. Unfortunately I will not be going back. My waxer continuously pressed the wax very hard with the applicator onto my skin and my skin was burnt and is now peeling. Do not go this location!! They do not care about you being a loyal customer for over 10 years let alone your time!! They have a sign posted you can not be late but it's ok for them to be 40 mins late for your appointment. I guess no ones time is important but their own. The staff thinks because they called to say they were running 15 mins late they've done their job. Mean while, they keep adding services that were not scheduled to the client ahead of me with no regard that I have been sitting there waiting. The manager Maria's only response is she can do nothing and if I don't like it to leave. WOW! great customer service!! NOT! I asked for the owners info as well as corporate's and they refused to provide it. Rudest staff! Further more, they have a sign posted no one will be accommodated late but, I guess it only matters if you are friends of the receptionist. Since the new management has taken over this location is always late, dirty rooms, no valid licenses posted and no regard for you as a customer or your time. I wanted to find a new waxing salon because I was really not into European Wax Center anymore so I looked up various Uni K Wax salons, read reviews and this one stood out the most along with Aslay's name. I stopped by and got a full Brazilian along with my underarms and the experience was Immaculate!!!! I used to like this location. At the time I always used Olga. Their hours are excellent. Within the last few years I have been extremely disappointed with their service. Since Olga changed her hours I haven't found anyone who knows how to wax appropriately (such as paying attention to the direction the hair grows). Even when I say the wax is too hot, they still put the hot wax on my skin. I've made an appointment with one person and when I walk in they give me to someone else. Depending on who is at the desk, if anyone is there at all, that person may be rude. I went the other day to get an underarm wax and my waxer was rude and dismissive. Extremely aggravated with their customer service. The two stars is because I like Olga, who always did an amazing job and as long as the was isn't too hot it is pretty painless hair removal but customer service is just as important (they should keep that in mind). read more

She came out for my appointment saw one of her other clients and said "sorry" I'm taking her then I proceeded to wait for a half hour while other clients came in and were taken before me. I usually go to the Aventura branch but I happened to be in the area that weekend and scheduled my appointment at this branch instead. I love Uni-k wax centers but from the minute I walked in I got nothing but attitude from the receptionist. It was early in the morning so I wasn't dressed up which is apparently a requirement at this center. Didn't realize I needed to wear heels to go get my legs waxed. I tried this place out on a Saturday afternoon and it was not crowded at all. I was immediately greeted at the front desk by a smiling face who took down my name and told me that the wait would be about 5 minutes. I've only been to a Uni K Wax once before and I wasn't a fan of how my eyebrows turned out; but since I was in a rush, this location was my only choice. While the eyebrow technician wasn't someone that I would call friendly, she did a really good job. The facility was clean and quiet and I was in and out in about 15 minutes. So I just called and was put on hold. I just had the worst customer service ever. I initially spoke to Patricia and she told me she didn't know when her boss would be in when I spoke to her and she put me on hold without telling me, then Alsay picked up and told me that Patricia walked out, that they don't have a manager on duty and they don't know when the store manager would be in! I have never been so disrespected in my life! I want to speak to the store manager at that location and no body there seems to have anyone they report to! So I've been going to UniKWax Weston for about 5 years now. My favorites have always been Olga and Cristina, they treated me like family but we're always very professional and kind. I only ever do my eyebrows with Olga. Unfortunately, management and reception there has become an absolute DISASTER. Not only are there no benefits for being a long-time customer but there is no order to their scheduling and have zero customer service. It has happened to me 3 TIMES that I make an appointment and there is somehow another appointment booked between two of my services (say for example I'm doing a bikini and eyebrows in the same visit). This causes me to have one service done, then kicked out of the room to wait for 30 min until the next person comes and then maybe have the last of my services completed almost an hour later. Actually 2 times they have just decided to kick me out saying "Sorry we booked it wrong but we can't do your appointment anymore, maybe next time." They should either fix the way they make their appointments (and how to reward loyal customer loyalty; the prices just keep getting more expensive nor do they give you something in return for THEIR mistakes) or THEY WILL LOSE ALL THEIR CLIENTS. Absolutely disappointing. Hope Olga get's to switch to a better facility. read more
