Although Toi Spa has two locations, my nail artist Favi works out of this Davie location and she was absolutely amazing. Favi is incredibly talented and patient. I had a specific design in mind, and even though she didn't have the exact color I was looking for, she was determined to make it happen. She took her time, mixed and adjusted until the design came together perfectly. That level of care and creativity truly sets her apart. The salon itself is beautiful .Very aesthetic, clean, and relaxing. Toi Spa is more than just a nail salon; it's a full beauty spa. They offer everything from massages and facials to brows and lashes, making it a true one stop shop for self care. I also loved that they offer an express manicure option, which immediately caught my attention for future quick visits. I left feeling pampered, relaxed, and so happy with my nails. I'm already planning to come back to try out other services. Making an appointment is definitely recommended, especially if you want to book with Favi. I booked a quick last-minute appointment here on a Sunday. It's been challenging. I've been desperately trying to find my new go-to nail salon. I booked an eyebrow wax and dip nail appointment for 4:15 PM. I arrived on time and was immediately whisked off to the station, where I saw Lily. She wrapped my previous dip nails and then took me off to wax my eyebrows. I will admit that she did a fantastic job on the eyebrow wax. They came out looking very clean and tidy. She then brought me back to her workstation to begin removing the old dip nails. I first noticed that she was using an old dirty washcloth as her mat station. The whole workstation seemed dirty. The next thing that was concerning was the steps she took to do the dip nails. She did not use that white power; they always dip your nails into it as a base before applying the color. (It's almost been a week now with her dip nails she's completed, so we'll have to see how long these last.) Anyway, she immediately started dipping my nails into the color. Finally, the last thing I found strange was that while my nails were being done, the receptionist came over and wanted me to pay for my services while my hands were preoccupied. I have never been to a nail salon demanding I pay while in service. That was really odd, and it was awkward trying to get my credit card out of my purse with half-done nails. My finished nails looked fine, but there was nothing to write home about. The vibe of this nail salon is interesting...I'm not sure how I feel about this salon, though. read more

I came regularly to Toi in Davie when they first opened and I've been away for awhile after Covid. I treated my friend and I to a gel mani and regular polish pedicure last week. Mine came out really nice. The service was a bit rushed, though it wasn't very busy. However, upon going out in the sun the next day my friend noticed her pedicure was a total different color than her manicure. On top of that, her toes were all chipped within 48 hours. She was only in town for a short time so we could not return to fix them. Lesson learned. The salon itself used to have a much more cleaner, well kept appearance. Now it's definitely messy in the corners and not as pristine as it once was. If you go, please keep in mind to bring cash for tips. They also have a screen with most of the staffs Venmo info on it, but that proved to be a bit disorganized for us at least. read more
