Absolutely love this nail salon! The space is clean, relaxing, and beautifully maintained. Winnie and her staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they really take their time to make sure everything is perfect. My nails came out flawless--great shape, smooth polish, and long-lasting results. I get compliments every time!! You can tell they truly care about their work and their clients. Highly recommend! read more

-disgusting -no customer service -horrible cheap products -uses dirty tools to clean nails -the owner is very rood and inconsiderate -dirty pee/pooped stain bathroom -chairs for customers are worn out and bug infested three days into getting my nails done they're completely chipped peeling and it looks like I've had my nails done for over two months. It looks disgusting to be just three days the first day as soon as I got my nails done when they kicked me out because they were supposedly closing 45 minutes earlier! She told me that I can come back Thursday because Wednesday they Thursday I call and guess what she's telling me that I have to pay more money in order to fix them!! The owner herself is extremely unprofessional. She went back-and-forth with me for about 10 minutes. Telling me it's my fault and she's cant fix them unless I pay for an entire Pedicure again ! Below I am attaching the first day, the second day and the third day of how horrible this pedicure was !! I will never step foot in this place again extremely trifling. I can't even come to words how horrible this place is ! read more

Service was fast to start. seated soon as I walked in. My 1st visit here, I didnt find the shop or attractive when i walked in. I ask for an American manicure on S&S powder. I said NO to cutting my nails, just file she file all the way down & had the audacity to ask me to tip on my card. The quality of nail service is poor. These are my nails at Day 5! Nails looks like I have not had service in 2 weeks. I definitely will NOT be returning! $45 read more

I was a regular here spent money never really had a bad experience. The nail salon itself is quite dark and dated but for the price of services it didn't really bother me. I was a walk in I understand you get busy but I wasn't acknowledged when I walked the lady looked quite annoyed but was always told by her come at 10am when we open there is no wait and I'll take you in. What got me was ignoring me when I walked in. I won't be back. Spent too much money at the establishment to be treated that way. I go to diva nails now right down the road and it's much better service and brighter atmosphere. read more

Great staff, very friendly and attentive. It is the only place I go. Winnie, the owner, takes great care of me. Shop is spotless. I love it

I was told MID SERVICE that I had to soak my short acrylic nails off in acid for 45+ mins or it wasn't possible for me to get the take off service. Nails were pre drilled , and ready to be taken off after 15 mins of soaking, while the lady started my pedicure. I REPEATEDLY told them my hands were burning, they insisted I went back in the acid for THIRTY FIVE more minutes. ummmm no ma'am. The nails were already applied quite thIN so take off should have been a breeze. The nails were basically off and my fingers were BURNING, I insisted on no more acid. Tech said wanted to "SEE" if the nail would come off with a drill, AFTER filing the nails down with a NAIL FILE... She drilled on my hands with the LIGHT WORK foot drill (the one the was actively taking my toe gel polish off with) and the nail came off. I was waiting for her to switch to a proper drill and complete the service... instead she stopped my nails to continue pedicure and her and the manager decided to insist I go back in the acetone or refuse me the service because it's IMPOSSIBLE to do with the machine. She then said I should have told them at the beginning I wanted the drill to take off ..... Lol ... what ? Im unloading the photos of my nails after soaking and hand filing- You can see how thin the nails are that they refused to take off. AND you can see the one they partially took off with the TOE drill :| Im never coming back here. I told them I'll go elsewhere to complete the service that they refused . While the lady was still doing my pedicure , the manager standing next to me was opening the chair basically like wanting me to leave, no service at all. The toe lady said no to the manager as she wanted to finish my pedicure. The manager went back to her station. The toe lady sped through my pedicure with no love. And I have banned yet another Broward County nail salon from my life. AND MY GEL NAIL POLISH FROM THIS SAME SET (THE SAME MANAGER LADY PREVIOUSLY DID) PEELED OFF LIKE CHEAP DOLLAR STORE POLISH. AFTER 1 WEEK. I ALSO HAVE PICTURES OF THAT TOO (UPLOADED). IDK WHY I EVEN CAME BACK HERE. Peeling gel polish - that has never happened to me in the 6+ years that I have been getting gel on my fingers and toes read more

Haven't gotten nails done in over a year. I have a new baby, Etc... Went to a place down the street from my house that had really good reviews , said they were open at 10. No one was there waited and called so on a time crunch looked up other close salons and came across Koko ... So glad I did!!! Nidia did a wonderful job for both medi and pedi; took her time, super clean thorough job. I would of been sad to have gotten a crappy service since it was my first time in so long and as a mother of 2 I barely get free time! Thank you Nidia. I will be back ! read more

I got my nails done a week ago with Alan. He was saying how the gel nail polish he was using for my nails was new and cheap. He said he didnt even know why the salon bought that polish. He said if I came back the next week, he would do them again for free. Well I had to work the next week late every day. After 9 days, I called today and told them about my nails chipping after a week. Alan was out so they said they could only do them again at a charge. They called Alan and he said I had to come back within a week. Whether it's 5 days or 9, my nails shouldn't look like this with a gel manicure this soon! They were chipping before a week. Horrible service and quality! read more

Always the best service. Nice people. Great prices. Could just walk in! def my go to when I need my nails done.

I came last night the 30th to get gel manicure, today 31st i had an appt. for 4pm got here and she said sorry no time and careless i stopped all i had to do to come here and no time! ask to fix a nail chipped from last night since of cpurse they were not done properly and said to me 1 hour waot. so here i am waiting, she did it on purpose because they dont want to fix it. Treat is very rude, they care only about money not making customers happy as well.( thats how it should be) . read more

I like coming to this salon, although is not the biggest it's definitely cozy, they do a decent job and don't chop off your nails or thin them out to the point you leave upset. Nydia is amazing, sweet lady and does a great job. read more

Koko Nail Spa - Love how they do my nail dip here - Nail Salons Near Me - Hollywood, Florida

I have been to Koko Nails several times. Every technician was great. After reading reviews I made an appoint for a deluxe spa pedicure with Nidia. All reviews are correct, best foot massage ever. Very friendly place, clean and sterilized instruments. At this time, all technicians and customers must wear masks. The technicians wear gloves and shields are used at nail stations. Very reasonable pricing. My manicures have been powder manicures which last forever. All COVID-19 precautions are taken. read more

I came here because it had nice reviews. Never again. Half way through my manicure my manicurist left to the back when new clients came in to, what I assumed, attend to them. As far as the actual manicure I am extremely disappointed. I've been using gel for a while and wanted to give them a break since they are a bit brittle. I opted to just do a strengthening base coat but overall the final look is terrible. I still have gel on some of my nails from my previous manicure. I will not be returning. **Update** She went overboard removing the cuticles. Almost all of my fingers are hurting and are extremely sensitive. It's been two hours since I got the manicure and I'm experiencing a lot of discomfort. read more

This place has no idea what they are doing! My sister went to them to soak of acrylic nails..... she comes home and her hands are all cut up and nails look crazy. She told me that the nail tech didn't even soak her nails were just pulling them off and cutting them with the nail clippers. Her nails are all weak and look gross! read more

I came here for the first time today and I loved it!! I brought them a pic and they did it exactly the style and color in it. I highly recommended the deluxe pedicure!! It was the most relaxing one I've ever had and pedicures are my favorite luxury. I look forward to getting it done and this place made me even more excited for it. I also accidentally smudged one of my toe nails after I left and they let me come back and get it fixed free of charge. Definitely will be back every two weeks for my nails and feet! read more

Wow first time here and I got lucky getting Nidia. She gave THE best manicure and pedicure I've ever had in life!! I'm not even kidding or exaggerating. She was soooo thorough in cleaning my cuticles and she took her time with the filing and hand massage (which is my favorite part). I did the deluxe pedicure which included this cooling cream/lotion and it felt so relaxing and refreshing at the same time. I will be back and so will my husband. I highly recommend Nidia for a mani and pedi. read more

Great service. I felt like a regular even though it was me and my husband's first time there. He was reluctant to get a pedicure but sure needed One. They made us feel relaxed and pampered. We both got the deluxe pedicure and mani's. Each technician was attentive, welcoming and very detailed oriented. This is a local hidden gem so don't expect luxurious digs but the service certainly felt like it!!!! read more

Everyone seriously needs to come here! You feel so welcomed and they always do a perfect job. I am so picky with my nails, mostly because every other nail salon I go to makes my gel lumpy and doesn't shape my nails correctly so it ends up lifting and chipping in a few days. I can honestly say that I had given up until I came to koko nails! My nails don't lift or chop until after three weeks or even more! (& I work in a restaurant) The nail techs are so precise and patient when doing your nails, they are never in a rush! I will continue coming here to do my nails! read more

First of all the girl I had could hardly communicate with me and had to have a translator. Second she sits me down and puts the tins on my fingers to soak the gel off and brings me over to start my pedicure. Well over 20 min goes by and my fingers are starting to burn which is common for me because I'm sensitive so I take the tins off and they made it a huge deal for no reason that I had to keep them on and stating that they were only on for 10 minutes which is completely false because my girlfriend FaceTimed me the moment I sat down so I have a time stamp on everything. I've had NUMEROUS nail salons where I've been in the same position and when we go back over to the table to do my nails they just put the tins back on for 5 minutes and shave off and it's no big deal so I'm not sure why they wanted to make it one. Also they should hire people who understand the meaning of what almond shaped nails means. She didn't even end up doing them, but when I went to the next place they had zero issues and they look amazing. Very annoyed with this place. read more

After coming here nearly 6 years, I will not be going back. I 've always done my nails with Nancy who is absolutely amazing. Takes her time and is nice. She wasn't in when I had scheduled to go but in the past I've been on with the other nail techs. I honestly never felt offended as this one lady made me feel, mind you I've known her as long as I've been going there too. I took my 6 year old which usually always goes and gets her toes and nail painted. Well she got her toes painted by one tech and would have to wait till I was done to do her nails. When I got in the chair to do my hands, Whitney was the rudest I've seen. She was huffing and puffing the whole time. She rushed through mu whole set, she didn't shape them evenly they look like crap to be honest. She was turning and talking to every single person. She even had the nerves to tell me not to be so strick with my kid!?? Like what do you prefer a parent to let their kid do whatever in your salon or have some rules? Either way its none of your business. That wasn't the worst part. I told her before and during my nails not to forget that she needs to paint my daughters nails.. How about she finishes my nails and looks at my 6 year old and says "oh but you want me to paint them I thought I just need to cut" you are going to have to wait? Like really it takes less than 5 min and I told you plenty of times. I was so upset, I told her to forget it and told her I would not be coming back. She didn't even say a word. I felt like they were doing me a favor, i'm a consistant customer every two weeks i'd go in and due to her being so rude I refuse to give them my money. read more

They're hit and miss. Some days it's great most days it's not. I recently went, and got a gel color even though the last time I got a gel color with them it looked nothing like the sample. I decided to give it another whirl this time it was so horrible I asked them to remove it they charged me to not only remove the color but to apply a different color when I brought up that it looked nothing like the sample the owner did a comparison realized it looked a mess and said "oh the sample is old that's why the color is different" but...... why would you be displaying it in the first place. That was the last straw for me read more

I was disappointed with my gel manicure and pedicure here after seeing all the great reviews. My gel manicure looked sloppy at the end and she didn't make sure that the edges were clean.
