This has been my go-to nail salon for the past 3 years. I get my nails done on a biweekly basis by Linda (my fav nail tech). She does an excellent job, shapes my nails how I want, and cleans up the cuticles nicely. They clean all of their tools with a sterilizer machine, each pedicure station gets a new plastic covering per client and I've never had any issues with fungus/infection. Prices are reasonable: I usually get a gel manicure ($30) and basic pedicure ($20) plus tip. COVID precautions: every client and staff member is required to wear a mask. They ask all clients to wash their hands and check their temperature upon entry. The pedicure chairs are divided with clear PVC curtains and the manicure stations all have a plastic barrier screen between the tech and client. Today, I visited the salon and was seated at table one. I paid extra for cuticle work, but the technician skipped proper nail prep and started applying acrylic immediately. As someone who took a nail course, I know you need a clean base first. The shape ended up wide and rounded, with no apex at all. After leaving, I had to go home and reshape them myself. No, no, just no. It's been very difficult for me to find a decent nail salon, that's clean, has good service, friendly staff and is in my price range. This place is another one of the many FLOPS I've experienced on my journey to find that ONE nail salon that becomes your go-to place. I had found one place that I absolutely loved, but it was about 30 minutes away and was much pricier. However, they do say, you get what you pay for. My mom didn't want to go to the other place further away and was like, "Let's go here, it has good reviews." I always see this place when I drive to work, but it never intrigued me enough for me to want to try it out. I looked up a few reviews before we headed over and noticed the common theme: "This place USED to be great but..." That's a red flag, folks. Anyway, my mother and I entered this facility early Saturday morning, 10:30ish AM. The place was packed and there were four people waiting to be seen. We were told to wait for a few minutes and we did just so. Then, after five minutes I was directed to station 6 to be seen. I was told by, I believe the manager that he'd get me the color choices for my dip powder. He brought a bowl of acetone and told me to soak my nails in it to remove the previous dipping powder. After about 20 minutes of sitting there with my hands uncomfortably soaking in the acetone, I was giving this raggedy/ratchet jagged poster board with the demo nails and color samples. Let's just say, the number of color options they had were limited and most of them were UGLY! My mom, in the meantime, was sat over in one of the pedicure chairs and sat there for about 10 minutes before finally getting water in her pedicure bath. She had an older gentleman who I could see was not being very gentle with her. She later told me, he was taking the cuticle cutter and jabbing it into one of her big toes that seems to be sensitive. All I heard was, "Ow, ow, ow!" from her direction. My mother told me he didn't seem to care and continue to dig away at her toe, despite her pleas that she was in discomfort. At any rate, by the time my mom's pedicure was done, they still hadn't even gotten my stupid previous dip powder off my fingernails. Talk about poor timing! Eventually, a nail tech came over and worked on my hands. I believe his name was Tommy. Now, I wasn't a big fan of Tommy. He appeared nice but I thought he was kind of passive aggressive and also a sarcastic..ahem. Anyway, he made me bleed on my left thumb and he took a LONG time to complete the manicure. When I saw the end results I was satisfied with the color and shape, but the whole process leading up to it was enough to not have me coming back. The store was dirty, they didn't have clean towels, and the table surface was filthy. The tools they used I don't believe are sterilized properly, and the employees are just straight up unfriendly and unwelcoming. I won't be returning. read more

Only three days after a gel mani+pedi from this salon and it's already peeling and chipping. Right after walking in and this lady Tina instead of wrapping my toes to soak in acetone for the polish to come off she just uses the machine to take off the polish!!! This nail salon is conveniently located very near my house, so I've made the mistake of giving them my money on two separate occasions for extremely shoddy work. At my last visit for a gel mani/pedi I pointed out to one of the male nail techs (one of the salon owners, I believe) that the polish on my pedi was bumpy. My finger slipped when I was pointing and I scratched the polish on my own toenail. I tried to wipe the polish off on the paper towel under my foot so I wouldn't "mess up" the horrible gel nails they had just done. The nail tech grabbed my hand and twisted it and aggressively told me "don't touch that!" I had to twist my hand out of his grip. I told him not to touch me and he continued to stare at me threateningly. I was afraid, so I backed down. I calmly paid my bill and promptly left. I am considering pressing assaultcharges on this man. All I can say is this nail salon does horrible work and the male owner is physically violent. Civic duty performed. You've been warned. Update: On 10/1/19 I received this private message from David N. who is obviously affiliated with the business. "You Musta had a bad day don't take you're a bad day and put it on somebody else people take pride in their work . They're out there to provide service for you and help you makes it look better in what you came in with as example a haircut they go to a defense mode when you are rude and smother their work in front of them and wipe it all over their face they go to a defense mode by protecting them self by pushing away .You do the same thing to your drawing a nice picture when somebody goes over and smother the whole picture that you just drew would you be You can act like a adult by requesting them to please redo or fix that by making this adjustment and I bet you they would be more than happy to do it for you with a polite manner .Negativities come with negativity. I've been here enough times to be able to officially say this is my nail salon! I always do a walk in, so I've had had my nails done my almost all the nail techs. I haven't had an issue with any and they're all happy to do your nails exactly how you like. Of all techs I have to say CeCe and Jon are my favorites because of how maticulous they are. They stay up to date on all the popular styles and products. I found out today but they have the tiger eye/ cat eye gel polishes (I'm excited to try it out!). They also carry the color changing gels, and a plethora of gel and regular polish colors too choose from. It's an average size salon with 8 nail stations and 8 pedicure chairs and the decor is modern and the color theme is a nice grey. Now to pricing! Very reasonable. On my way from an appointment I yelped and found this spot. Walked in and was immediately pleasantly greeted but not immediately seated. I was seated in about 7 minutes and waited an additional 10 minutes before my nails were started. It Surprisingly busy for a Monday afternoon, not sure how many were regulars. Place was clean, didn't notice any excessive dust, towel scuffs or salon clutter which was nice. All staff had on makeshift uniforms and wore the same style shirt, most (2 didn't) wore name tags which is a nice touch. Noticed several autoclave machines (though we are never sure if they are working) they did remove their tools from the machine and its always a confidence booster. Had a previous gel polish application on my hands and the removal process was less than pleasant. I am satisfied with the outcome though actually doing my nails felt a bit rushed and I hated having to soak in a bowl of acetone to remove the previous gel polish along with the excessive electric filing. They (a guy) was apologetic about the soaking process and explained it was because of the Glitter component of the gel polish. The selection of polishes was okay from what I saw and as were the dip powder selections were in a ring and they had a substantial selection of colors. I will be back to try the pedicure next time! Should have kept reading the reviews. I read the reviews on here but all the bad ones were from a little while ago. I should have still listened to them. I went in to get a regular pedicure and dip manicure on Tuesday June 18th. My dip manicure barely lasted through the weekend. Not only was my experience at the salon a terrible one, I also spent my hard earned money on a nail service that didn't even last. During my service I did not like the color of my nails and I was made to feel like a burden to the manicurist. I have been getting my nails done for many years now and most of my dip manicures last me atleast 2.5 weeks if not longer. As of yesterday, not even two weeks, the nails are completely off.
