I may be breaking up with my regular so actively nail salon dating but, I'm spending the money and there's not always alcohol involved. I was recommended by a friend so after a LOT of consideration I bit the bullet and headed over. The salon is located in a decently busy supermarket plaza so there's ample parking. On entering there's a makeshift bar to the right that I quickly realized wasn't functional (sad face) and the receptionist/host? She was sweet and polite. I didn't have an appointment but my hands were started within 15 minutes. I had two separate techs for each svc. The dip powder on my natural nails was quick and efficient. I was pleased by his speed and technique. I can say I'm super happy with the turn out but with some places it's just the technique and not a true manicure. No pushing back cuticles, soak etc so beware. My pedicure was meh. super sweet lady but I found the polish application to be uneven and thick. She did try to fix everything that was wrong. I decreased my rating due to them bringing that grater thing though I never use it I looked at it and it had skin on the edge so by definition its dirty, not acceptable . I'd return for my hands for sure, my feet?? Meh. Live & Love. Try them but be cognizant of stuff. read more

My wife and I go all the time. We get the upgraded pedicures and manicures. I often call at the last minute. Alexandra always finds a way to accommodate us. If not for her we would get shut out. It's 2023 and I've managed to NEVER. Make a yelp account. I purely made this account to review how terrible my recent manicure was at Diva Nails. I made an appointment a day before to avoid Saturday morning salon traffic. Easy. I arrive and the pedicure was ok. The receptionist comes to me to let me know they're switching him out for someone else to do my hands. The woman asked what I wanted and I have natural nails. I walked in with very long almond shaped nails that I shape at home. I told her cut a little off and she cut them all off. Obviously she couldn't keep the almond shape so she does this weird squoval which I wouldn't mind if she asked me and if they actually were even. I had to show her three times my thumbs were completely different lengths, shapes, and angles and she gave me an attitude every time. As she was finishing up I saw that it was really goopy and clumpy which at a salon there's no excuse and there were gaps between my cuticles on the top and side. I told her and she said it was fine three times and then screamed across the salon to the manager DHE DOESNT LIKE IT. Which was super uncomfortable and embarrassing since everyone looked. The manager came by and he gave me a rebuttal after I told him what was wrong. After some back and forth he grabbed a regular paper towel as started smearing off the fresh manicure. This caused it to smear all over my hands and palms and it was so rough I was shocked he wouldn't use nail polish remover. After some time he did use the nail polish remover and re did my nails but I was very uncomfortable the entire time and received no apology or at least a seek to understand and let me know what he was going to do to fix it at least so I was in the loop. He told me to sit and dry and completely disregarded me where other salons I've been to come and check on you. There was still nail polish on my palms but I just wanted to leave I felt so uncomfortable. I get to the desk and the receptionist asked if I wanted to leave a tip and I told her I had a horrible experience and she apologized. But it was a terrible experience and I had very high expectations from the reviews and the atmosphere. It's really pretty and looks nice but they have zero regard to their paying customers. How do you mess up plain natural nails? I went there a week ago and it's already chipping and I've done very minimal to nothing abrasive with my hands where my manicures have lasted me at least 3 weeks doing daily cleaning, work, gym, laundry. I attached a pic and my nails grow really fast but this was a bad experience. Mind you I walked in with very long natural almond shaped nails. Never going again. read more

I visited Diva Nail Studio for the first time on Wednesday 1/26, for a filling and Gel Polish. I'm writing this review today 1/27. Because My nails looked terrible my cuticles was not done. So the filling was not filled properly. Because I had to leave for work right after. I called Salon today to inform the Manager Cuc Van of my experience, instead of apologizing on behalf of his staff, he was busy trying to get more money he told me $7 more for cuticles. Lol I paid $40 for basically buffing and Gel polish. I've never had a filling look this bad. They're so busy being greedy and loose customers. These Nail Salons want to charge us extra for everything. meanwhile they don't take their time to do a proper job they just want to collect our money and give you a rushed job. This Salon is unprofessional THEY DON'T CARE. I feel violated I paid for a Terrible job. I do not recommend this Salon to anyone. They're a lot more out there. We need more Diversity and competition so we have more options. Look at my cuticle. Salons supposed to make it look better not worse. read more

I recommend going somewhere else. Bad service, bad quality of work. I experienced it there many times. I went to the salon because of convenience, and every time I went there I was sorry that I did. I recommend the salon hires proficient, English speaking, nail designers who know what they're doing. Several times during pedicure, my toes were painfully nicked. Several times, I requested a type of design and the nail technician did not understand my request because of language barrier. And when painting my nails, with a simple design, the job is very shoddy. There were times when 9ne nail tech would start painting my nails, then I would be kicked out of the seat to let a previous appointment for that person come in and do theirs, and wait for the next technician to become available to finish the job that the first one started. So, the customer service is no good, and nail technicians are not proficient. Price is not bad, but you get to pay for. read more

Vee is THE BEST tech at this salon. She is professional, kind, conversational, and meticulous! I highly recommend her for your nail needs. I gave her a $10 tip on a $20 manicure, if that tells you how good she is! I called ahead to ask if a reservation was needed, and they accept reservations 2 hours in advance. Walk ins are welcome, too, and they is plenty of staff on hand to accommodate. The bathroom is clean, and you're required to wash your hands immediately upon arrival. Be prepared to be seated RIGHT NEXT TO another person, so the 6 foot distancing does not apply here, sadly. Four stars were given because of two issues: I was overcharged for my gel soak off, and the first woman who was to take care of me up and left after putting the acetone and tin foil wraps on my fingers to give a different woman a pedicure without coming back to tell me or check on me. read more

Came here for dip and pedicure. The guy who did my nails was very rough. I go to the salon to relax and the whole time I was on the edge of my seat. He was super rough with the drill that several times my hand jerked away in Pain and I would say "oww!" And he would Mumble something to the tech next to him. No "I'm sorry" or anything for me. One time he attempted to PEEL my old dip off my nail with his nail!!! Also super painful so I said OWW and he mumbled something to the guy next to him in his native language. Rough with the nail file, he filed my nails super harshly. Literally couldn't wait for the work to be done. Once I was done, I forgot to check my fingers for old dip, sure enough my skin was covered, he never cleaned up his mess. Look at the pics. Then the pedi was done by a lady who did a super rushed job but it actually looked decent and she never hurt me. My whole pedi was done in less than 30 mins, never had a quickie like that before. I used to come here all the time, they used to be great. I'm not sure if they've replaced some staff or if I've been unlucky, not that the concept should even be a thing considering you're paying for a service, but it has been very bad. The man who did my pedicure cut my toenails down so far to the point where they were tender, and I communicated with him prior to keep length. Then my full set of acrylics lasted not even a week. Absolutely every single nail lifted. Two broke within seven days and I try my hardest to maintain them. I went to a different spot and was told they must've skipped a step or just didn't have a good job done on my nails. So I'm not sure what's going on with this establishment, or why the quality has declined so much, but it's not appreciated. Especially considering what they're charging as well. Never coming here again. Walked in, very unfriendly man "greeted" me pretty much shouting at me what I wanted. Originally I wanted a fill-in with same color but not knowing the color name I didn't know what to do. Asked if maybe he could help and he shrugged and walked away. I ended up just removing my acrylics and getting tip and dip. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The lady who did my nails was pleasant and helpful but she did a terrible job. I got a deep red (opi-24) and funny bunny accent. The red is SO grainy and you can see every spec of powder left on there plus the top coat was applied terribly, there's holes all over the nail and they aren't even, smooth, or glossy at all. The funny bunny accent nails are also not white... there's a hint of tainted pink which I don't mind but I would have preferred the actual color I picked and not this odd pink mix. Overall I am giving them a two stars because the lady who ended up doing my nails was nice and the location looked clean and organized which was appealing. but as far as the actual service goes it was a true waste of money and time and I am so disappointed. read more

Since Covid forced my usual nail salon to change owners I have been looking for a new salon in the Hollywood area. I don't get my nails done often so for me it is a special pampering occasion. I had tried a few salons in the area with no luck. Yesterday I tried Diva Nails after reading about them on Yelp! I had a great experience. I had called for a same day appointment but they said it would need to be walk in only for same day. I got there at just the right time and was immediately sat with Cookie for my dip manicure. She had gentle hands and did a great job suggesting a color for me. Next was a short wait until my pedicure (they did try to upsell on this.) I would have liked to get my pedicure first so my nails could dry but it was also a nicely done job. I will definitely be back! read more

He doesn't care about that, and harassed me while I tried to relax. The manager, his name is Devon he did my nails and doesn't care about paying clientele. There's better nail salons in South Florida for sure. Not the most professional staff and it felt either very rushed or it took forever. My pedicure took literally 15 minutes and it was $30. He literally painted over my toes and cleaned them up and I was done. Mediocre. Then I was kicked out of the chair and waited almost two hours for my mom to finish her pedicure and nails. Her pedicure was okay but her dip took forever. Her nail tech wasn't very experienced and buffed too hard and close to the cuticle. They are uneven, with a weird shape. Just save your money. I had come to this nail salon several times and spent hundreds of dollars with family at one point but a few months past and I came back alone with no one as my witness but my hurt feelings and ego. As I walked in I was recognized by some of the workers being known for hard to work on due to my hands being contracted and they don't open well at all so they have to go to extra measures to be able to work on my hands so as I walked in this last time all I could hear was a resounding no no no we can't help you all of the other customers looked back at me like I was a monster that just walked in and as they continued to shame me out of the door I held back my tears and embarrassment Ive never been so embarrassed in my life in front of a shop full of women it was a horrifying moment and I'll never go back there or recommend anyone else to go there and my daughter used to go there but because of how they treated me she also switched salons. $51 for a mani/pedi!! I was in the area and walked-in for a mani/pedi and was seated with someone after a short wait but fairly quickly. I learned a basic pedicure does not include callus removal and exfoliating scrub (addt'l $5) which is pretty standard at most places. My technician was thorough and polite and did a nice job, but he was a little rough on the cuticle scraping during my mani. The polish is not perfect to the edges, but my nails do look neat. The service industry works very hard and I no doubt believe that everyone there is excellent at their job but in my opinion the salon owners are overcharging for basic services that the technicians will not receive a majority of. Nice job but for the price and a standard 20% tip I will go elsewhere for the same if not better service. read more

The salon is clean and nice however the lady at the front desk is very rude, no personality at all and always has a grumpy face. Depending on the person nails can come out nice but most time the polishing is not a great result. After two or three days nail polish comes out. Overall do not recommend it. read more

Horrible wait times. My fiance and I came in together as we always do at many other nail salons and get our pedicures done together. This shop had us waiting for about an hour to be seen, then called me back and left him sitting by himself for about another hour! He left and waited for me to finish in the car. The place is really nice and the guy that did my toes did a really good job, eventho when he was done he told me to wait 5 min before getting up, but left me in the chair for like 15 min while he went to go do someone else's nails and forgot about me. I've been to this place a handful of times. The very first time, I was treated with such poor customer service. They are always in a rush whether you come in early in the day - or later in the day. The owner is a young guy that walks around working to people rudely and offers little to no help. The first time I went in, I asked for a manicure and the mail tech who barely spoke English, scoffed at me and complained that a full manicure takes too long... every time I get out with Joe- he's in a rush and acts clueless. This week was the final straw. He added tips to my nails so poorly that I had a lump where the nail is supposed to smoothly attach to the tip. He made my nails so thick that it looks like I have huge lumps as nails- all my friends have commented on this. He took three hours to do a horrible pedicure and a dip powder manicure. TWO days later, my nails started breaking off because of the poor composition of adding the tips. Not to mention, he tried overcharging me at checkout and I had to set him straight and pull out my calculator to get my accurate amount. I come to get my nails done and to relax and decompress and coming to this place stresses me out and I always leave angry. Worth mentioning- the ONLY person who offered exceptional service and did a great job on my nails was Ruby. Aside from that, stay away from this place. They only care about getting your money and they'll rush you out. Horrible work within and very rude. read more

Don't go here. This nail salon is so disappointing, first of all they told me I couldn't make an appointment with the person I requested because they don't take appointments.WEIRD... I've never heard of that before and so the receptionist suggested I do my pedi while I wait for him to be done with his client once I was done doing my toes they tell me that he just sat down with another client and that it would take a "long time." Leaving me no other choice but to go with someone else when I was promised this person. They were not helpful especially the receptionist (Melissa) you could tell she doesn't know how to do her job right. My pedi lady was rough and half a**** my pedicure you could tell she just wanted to get it over with. My nail tech did a decent job but she rushed and barely checked in with me throughout the service to see if I was happy with her work. I feel like i was robbed here. I was there Monday had my pedicure and manicure just regular because the guy didn't do anything extra. He didn't massage my hands and foot . He just put lotion and a hot towel thats was the extra. Oh he picked my nail color and i thank him for that. And thats it. He was nice. The only complain i had was paying for $80 both nani and pedi. Which is only regular service. I just realized when i got home why they charge me that much. Its not worth . Im just saying. Oh by the way i tip almost 20% cos i gave 15 .
