I guess I should have asked how much it was going to be first, but I would have NEVER imagined it was going to be that much! Literally the worst pedicure I've ever had. I was too flabbergasted to even say anything. I just wanted to pay the $30 (plus tip) and never return ! Each nail is not fully painted, awful polish job. I used to go here all the time. I can't believe the work done and how he thought it was acceptable. I wish I got his name but I hope everyone else there has bare minimum standards. I go back and forth with this place. It's clean and very convenient to my house, plus there's a Dunkin Donuts next door so that's also a plus for me. I want to love it but it really depends on who you go too. I think Katie is one of their best. Unfortunately she wasn't in when I went on this day. I went with my kiddo to get her a mani. She wanted 3 colors as she is into patterns. I was advised that if she wanted 3 colors I would have to pay $5 extra. I didn't mind and liked that I was told before the service. Her nails came out very cute but I paid $5 for 2 nails basically. Check out photo. I got a gel mani and pedi myself. My pedi was okay. As you can see from the photo the lines were not the best. I had my kiddo with me so I wasn't paying as much attention during the process so did not notice until I got home. The gel mani I went with just one solid color. The guy that did my nails didn't clean around as well prior to applying gel and if you see in pics it looks like in two nails is over my cuticle which is where it looks like it might start peeling. Hopefully not. I would say that with any place sometimes you have to find someone who you like and stick to that person. I came here for the first time today and I am so pleased with my experience! First of all, you cannot beat the prices. I've never gotten a gel manicure for less than $40 but here it's $30!! This used to be my favorite go to nail spa but recently I've been noticing some things that changed my mind. My mom and I have been going here since it was called "Victorian Nail Spa," because the management changed, it was given the name "Envy Nail Spa." As mentioned, we have been frequent and loyal costumers for a while now. Lately I have been noticing that every time my mom and I walk through the doors we receive an unfriendly welcome. However I notice, as I'm getting my nails done, that whenever someone else walks through the door the staff are energized and friendly joke around with the costumer. My mom and I are not Caucasian and these clients tend to get preferential treatment. Furthermore, I noticed that my nails seem to bleed as my cuticles are cut, I did not pay much attention because I just thought I have sensitive cuticles but my mom's cuticles also bleed after the cut, I take this as their lack of effort and respect for the customer. The most upsetting incident was recently. I specifically told them I wanted a manicure and my mom would receive an acrylic full set and pedicure. However, somewhere along the way was miscommunication for my mom's manicure. Instead of giving an acrylic full set, they began a regular gel manicure, which was not what we asked for. One would think they would spare their frequent costumers, but instead they stated it would be an additional $10 on top of the overpriced acrylic set. My mom and I were upset and decided to leave, and as we ask for the total amount to pay, the lady decides to add an extra $5, even though my mom's manicure was not done. These people are solely money minded and do not wish to obtain a friendly relation even to their frequent costumers. At the end of the day, getting your nails done is a splurge and time to pamper yourself. But they made us feel guilty and upset when we left. I was looking for a place to do my nails for a while when a co worker recommended Heidi at Envy Nail Spa. Making an appointment was easy, I was able to do everything thru their link on Instagram and didn't have to call. Upon arriving, I was greeted by the receptionist who I think her name was Amy, she made me feel comfortable and since I was about 30 minutes early for my appointment she began to soak the dip off my hands and then removed the gel off my toes. Amy was very friendly and helped me chose the color I wanted for my new mani and pedi. When she was done she then sent me to the back to sit in a pedicure chair and wait for Heidi. Once Heidi was finished with her client she started working on my pedicure and then my hands. She exceeded my expectations and took her time to make sure my nails came out great and were all even with absolutely no imperfections. I loved the place, it was clean, everyone was wearing masks and the music playlist was on pointttttt. The only thin I didn't like was that even though my appointment was at 12:30, Heidi started working on my feet around 1:15; I know she had a previous client and I'm sure they usually honor appointments and that doesn't happen, which is why I still gave them five stars. Super disappointed in the way my service was done today. My mom and I were recommended to envy so I was very eager to go and try a new salon. I've been getting dip for the past year to help my nails grow naturally and get stronger and here is where everything went wrong. The man Kevin who did my nails immediately pulled out a fake nail and started to pry off the existing dip on my nails, instead of soaking them off (which is was is supposed to be done). With him prying them off he ripped of the whites of nails on 4 different nails as well as really hurt my nails. He was rushing through the whole process resulting in my nails hurt and all of my nails are uneven and different shapes. My mom on the other hand had a great service with Katie. I'm torn with this place because it seems like a great salon but this incident has made me extremely disappointed and discouraged to ever come back. read more

The Reason for the low Rating is due to a $5.00 COVID fee that was added to the bill without no Up Front Notice when I made the appointment today. I gave Marylin a $10.00 tip, but the nail place is really taking advantage of people. Please be aware of this charge before You decide to go there in the event your going through hard times. I can say that they are Very cordial and in addition to that they put their hearts in what they do.
