Very professional staff delivering on the high quality food and drink the establishment offers. All the menu items we tried were delicious. Not a fan of the valet parking which pretty much the only parking option available.

It's hard to imagine a place like Blue Ridge Grill opening in Atlanta today. It's even a bit tough to imagine a place like this still existing in the middle of Buckhead. After all, so many of the older establishments have closed, with Buckhead diner shuttering doors just a few years ago. At a glance, there is nothing about Blue Ridge Grill that seems to belong in today's Atlanta filled with omakase sushi menus and "pop up" restaurants, yet is uniquely beautiful. The red leather cushions, the reclaimed wood from a cotton mill, the sharply dressed staff and of course, the stately dressed rabbit painting above the fireplace. It is all there. Blue Ridge Grill has a mountain lodge atmosphere and an interior that is cozy, inviting and elegant. It protrudes class throughout, but also is a trip back to 1995 when Blue Ridge Grilled opened. In some ways, the patrons are also on a bit of a journey through decades here as the average age of the guests appeared to be in their 60s. When it comes to the menu, it is all the classics. While trout is supposedly the most famous dish here, the filet mignon and the pork chop are great as well. The pork chop was not the best quality of pork by today's standards of regeneratively raised and organic animals, but prepared well, just a bit flavorless aside from the sauce and seasoning. Also the cut was a bit tough on the edges due to what seemed to be a muscle or tendon layer. The filet mignon is good. Okra was perfectly cooked avoiding the healthy slime. Now, we arrive at the list of beverages. Good wine list with specials. There are a few big name scotches, although nothing notable or unique to highlight smaller distilleries. The biggest brand names are overpriced heavily, with Macallan 12 running over $40 for a pour. The American whiskey list is much better and more reasonably priced relative to retail. Tequila list needs to be re-written from scratch to remove depressing samples like Casamigos and Herradura to add at least something good aside from Clase Azul. The team here is welcoming and kind. The waiter, Sergi, was phenomenal and very attentive. As a whole, there is no denying that Blue Ridge Grill is a special place. While there are some efforts to be done to improve ingredient sourcing, quality and expand work with local farms and pastures (ex. Local White Oak Pastures could be a good start), it's a wonderful establishment that Atlanta needs to preserve its character. Let's cherish and retain these local landmarks.

Always love eating here. We brought the kids recently and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves as well. Anything you order here is going to be good and service and ambiance is perfect for business or romantic date night.

Blue Ridge Grill is one of the most comfortable restaurants in all of Atlanta. The comfort factor is just the beginning. The service team at this restaurant makes for upscale dining with a personal component. The Waite staff are professional, intellectual, & joyful in their industry. The food quality is cooked to order prepared by a chef, always fresh & hot with the type presentation that you would hope for at a fine/upscale dining experience. Located off I 75 and West Paces ferry Road at the Northside Parkway exit. Blue Ridge Grill is a legendary Buckhead staple for lunch or dinner. Definitely in my top three restaurants in the city of Atlanta. Reservations required.

Had dinner at Blue Ridge Grill while I was in Atlanta and it ended up being a really solid choice. The menu had a great mix of options including steaks, seafood, salads, and a few Southern-inspired sides, so it wasn't hard to find something for everyone. We started with the crab cake and mussels. The crab cake had a good amount of actual crab meat without too much filler, and the mussels came in a flavorful broth that we used the bread to soak up. I also ordered a peach and blue cheese salad with pecans, which was surprisingly refreshing and a nice balance to everything else. For entrées, we got the filet and the ribeye. Both were cooked just the way we asked, tender and juicy with a good sear. The loaded baked potato was massive and definitely could be shared. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. Service was polite and efficient, no complaints there. I didn't get a chance to try dessert but I'd definitely be interested in coming back to try a few more things off the menu. Overall it was a great dining experience and I'd return if I'm ever in Atlanta again.

Love this Buckhead restaurant. The atmosphere is elegantly business casual with a mountain-home feel. We always love coming here and the manager and wait staff are professional and friendly.

Food was good. Only went because bones was closed. Not sure I'd make a special trip. Definitely a neighborhood steakhouse vibe where the classics are done right and you know what you're getting. Service is great and everyone is super helpful. The octopus hands down was the best thing we had. Marinated for 24 hours or so. Everything else was good, love the sauce with the sea bass. Interior was just a bit steakhouse dated.

Went for Christmas dinner with my wife. Always good food and drinks. Very consistent. Service is outstanding. Holiday decorations made it feel festive and cozy. Bar is too small with people standing as limited seating.

Might be my favorite restaurant! The filet mignon was perfectly seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium. Fantastic taste and tender. The whipped potatoes and Mac and cheese were perfect sides to accompany it. I HIGHLY recommend the Devils on Horseback for an appetizer and the Aviator for a cocktail. Service was impeccable with friendly faces that made our coworker's birthday celebration one to remember. Plus, the rustic atmosphere makes one feel right at home, or as though they've taken a vacation into western North Carolina.

Boss took me here for my retirement dinner, wives were also in attendance. My review may be slightly biased as I didn't pay for anything. Started with the octopus which was lightly charred to perfection. Also had the mushroom risotto. We were not expecting little risotto balls, but they were very tasty. I had the grilled salmon. Cooked to perfection on a bed of what I think was cabbage? Not sure, but it was a great pairing and tasted awesome. Sides included the corn souffle, spinach and mashed potatoes. All were tasty but the corn was the table favorite. Had a bottle of Plumbjack and Silver Oak cabs with the meal, excellent wine. Great place for a special occasion.

Kayla B was running the bar and serving, and I'm not gonna lie, it started a little slow... but the way she recovered? Elite. Soon as she tapped in, it was "what you drinking?" then boom, drink and bread hit the table. I barely got through two pieces of bread before the Bang Bang Shrimp pulled up like it knew I was waiting on it. And just as I'm finishing that? Entrée lands right on time. No stress, no waiting, just smooth. Food? Always hits. Flavor is consistent, never doing too much but never missing. The place smells good, it's clean, and it's not loud and chaotic which I respect heavy. She did hand me like three menus at first... I ain't even gonna lie, I was overwhelmed for a second. But she walked me through it like a pro and actually cared that I enjoyed what I ordered. 10 out of 10. If you haven't been, go sit at the bar. Trust me.

After being seated, it quickly became apparent that there was confusion or conflict between the host and the waiter regarding our table. Unfortunately, this situation directly impacted us, as the waiter refused to serve our table. We were left sitting there for approximately 30 to 45 minutes without any assistance. Eventually, another staff member came over to begin service, but by that point, the experience had already been negatively affected. My children were extremely hungry, and my wife was understandably upset. What was supposed to be a pleasant family dinner turned into a frustrating and stressful situation. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially for a first visit. Based on this, it will likely be our last time dining here.

Title: Lost a Loyal Customer -- Management Failed…read more I'll start by saying I previously gave this location a 5-star review because I genuinely loved it. That review still stands for what it was -- but this is about what happened next. About 3-4 months ago, I stopped in after work wearing medical scrubs and clogs. The hostess turned me away at the door, citing what she called a dress code. Fine -- except I could clearly see guests already seated inside wearing sandals. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told it was a "strict policy" and offered a to-go order instead. No explanation for the double standard. No accountability. Just a dismissal. I've been coming here for years and never had an issue with my work attire. And I've since learned I'm not alone -- friends have described similar experiences at this location. I don't throw around the word "profiling" lightly. But when enforcement is this inconsistent, it's hard to arrive at any other conclusion. The food is good. The servers have always been great. But management completely dropped the ball, and that's enough for me to walk away for good.
